Stated by who?  Me?  If I said that, I was wrong; please link the post and I'll edit it.  The perk description on the mod page says "No effect unless you're wearing the specific shock collar from Real Handcuffs."  Violate and SH both use the Real Handcuffs shock collar, and so the perk should apply to both.

 

There are certainly cases where Abandoned Property wouldn't apply.  For example, Latex Collar Curse equips its own collar that unlocks using unique internal methods.  Raider Pet uses collars from Devious Devices.  Ditto for Deviously Cursed Wasteland.  :-)

I think I have it. I just remember it a little differently. It was about a collar that my character had received from a companion who didn't belong to a faction. And that meant there was no way to get your code. See here. There was another post, but that's what I meant.
Is there a way to get a code from factionless NPCs and companions?

Maybe Im misremembering again but I think Ive gotten codes from everyone, not just the faction that applied the collar. Even got a code from Arturo once!

It doesn't matter who applies the shock collar.  Heck, you can craft one and equip it yourself.  The NPCs who are capable of giving you a code, though, must be a member of one of the factions listed in the perk description.  Factions are the limiting factor of the perk.  Since each faction can only give you a code once, right or wrong, the idea is that you're driven to sleep with more and more different people, until by chance you get the right code.  The internal tracking all resets after you remove the shock collar.

Okay, for my final understanding. If I have the collar, whether from an NPC that doesn't belong to a faction or from a faction, gets the code from any faction, just not from a non-faction NPC?

A non-faction NPC cannot give a code.  An NPC must be in one of the factions listed in the perk description:

 

"Viable factions: Brotherhood of Steel, Institute, Minutemen, Railroad, Diamond City, Goodneighbor, Bunker Hill, Covenant, Vault 81, Raiders, Gunners, Supermutants, Children of Atom (hostile), Children of Atom (Glowing Sea), Children of Atom (Far Harbor DLC), Acadia, Far Harbor, Trappers, Nuka World Disciples, Nuka World Operators, Nuka World Pack"

Okay, I get codes from the factions, even if I got the necklace from a non-factional NPC. I didn't realize that at the time.

Depends on your MCM settings. Right now it's an assault in-place with some options for being relocated after the event. I'm also planning to offer optional integration with Pervert, which would move the assault to a custom location.

I'm having a problem that is not directly tied to this mod. My game has an issue where a lot of the pop-up menus cause the game to freeze and require me to close the game. This means opening the menu to choose any provocative perks freezes the menu. Is there a way to use console commands to give myself the perks I want?

Sure, any of the perks can be added with player.addperk <perk ID>.

Thank you for comfirming that addperk works. I did try using it, but I must've typed the wrong IDs in. Everything is good now.

Am I doing something wrong with USB? 

No armor/clothing except hat, SAKR says lower body is exposed (with +100 skimpy rating),  perk is added to char, and there's the thing in the pipboy menu for USB, but when getting in the PA I get a notif about not being able to penetrate with the clothing and theres no effects in PA. Any ideas?

Is the MCM Pants Check Type set to SAKR?  Are you entering the PA with the special activation button and/or the Pantsless Interface Hotkey?

If you try animal magnetism on dogmeat, you can't get rid of it anymore. You can recruit and send it away, the dialogues work, but it continues to follow you all the time.

That doesn't match my experience.  Can you detail the precise chain of events?  Are you sleeping with Dogmeat after using the perk on him, or not?

 You wouldnt be running a mod like Assimilation or something else that awards experience for sex acts would you? In Assimilation the participant will follow you around till they eventually have dialogue awarding experience. Dogmeat cant talk, so no dialogue. Will follow you till you debug him in Assimilation.

Well, the good girl was close to orgasm. I didn't want to let her go to Sanctuary in that state, because she would have agreed to anything there. Since I play without SEU because it makes it too easy, my eyes stopped on Dogmeat and Animal Magnetism came to mind. No sooner said than done, relieved by Dogmeat, she went to Sanctuary without being aroused.

When she used Dogmeat, he wasn't recruited. But he wouldn't let me talk to him after sex either. Only something like "don't do that, or I'll have to shoot" or something. Then I had a level change, then back to Dogmeat. He came running towards me in Sanctuary. I recruited him, sent him away, and repeated the whole process. But he followed me the whole time. Much, much later, he was gone, I think as a result of being wounded. No idea where he is now.

But all this immediately after Animal Magnetism.

I'm having the same issue with dogmeat about the commands, I did Animal Magnetism this time around and have the same command dialogue, don't make me shoot you, you're coming with me, etc.

I fast travelled to Lexington, went back to Sanctuary and his dialogue was normal for the first conv, then switched back.

Might start over and not choose A M, not decided yet.

Before that she says something about being quiet or something.

 

Do you have any idea how I can find out the cause? As a layman?
