Thanks for the report. Hmm, I usually ask him with one arm amputated, but I'll test it tonight without arms. At least from here I can see everything in order in the CK, pending testing.

Nevermind, i tried again with a slightly earlier save and there was no problem launching the quest even with both arms amputated, the issue should not have come from that and is probably related to the save.

I like your idea, but I'll tell you about a future quest. A couple of nights ago, I managed to summon the Prydwen and place the entire Brotherhood of Steel in the Commonwealth, without having to do the vanilla quests. This obviously breaks the vanilla quests; it's not convenient to do so, but it's perfect for a bad ending. You know, the kind of ending where there's no escape.

So, a future bad ending will be Nora being sold to the Brotherhood's science division and having her do what you're talking about. I don't know if you remember, but inside the Prydwen, in the science division, there's a PERFECT cage for that. It has two molerats, but I can disable it and put Nora in.

Thanks A LOT for updating this mod! Recently started replaying it and it's been a blast with the new additions. Personally, I can't wait for the combat zone update and the prydwen ending you mentioned, those sound really cool

  • Check Google Drive first, again Mega won't let me update right away.
  • Updated the setstages guide, the new version. Testing folder.
  • Updated the facegen file. Commonwealth Slavers FaceGen 1.1. Optional Files Folders. 
  • Updated the voice file too.  Commonwealth Slavers - Voices 1.9. Optional Files Folders. 
  • "No more bald slaves patch" is no longer necessary. I'll remove it soon, but I'll leave it for those still playing the stable version.

 

New quest: The Combat Zone.

  • When you start Pet Walk, or if you're in the middle of one, go to the Combat Zone (COC CombatZone01 to test it fast). The quest should start as soon as you enter.
  • Dutch will fill you in; he's the bartender. Cait and Tommy aren't in this scenario.
  • Use dildos and flagpoles to earn tips.
  • Serve customers' orders correctly. When you reach 5 orders, you'll be asked to serve the champion. This happens once per "Pet Walk".
  • Serve three customers poorly and you'll be asked to fight another slave. This happens several times during your round. 
  • Added new animations for use on CZ flagpoles: twerkings. 🥵
  • Combat Zone slaves will have special outfits if you have the Vtaw patch.

Is this combat zone quest compatible with CombatZoneRestored or should I disable that mod? Since Cait and Tommy are disabled here there shouldn't be a problem right?

I think CS is the reason my controller can't move freely during freecam. I wonder how I can fix that or maybe I'm using your settings? 

Combat Zone currently doesn't have voiced dialogues, yes? 

When asked to drag the body out of the cage it doesn't show (Name, loot slot) like normal body but it's draggable. Just FYI. 

After serving the champion once his initial dialogue loops so it doesn't end, and because you're still serving a customer, you can't serve other customers.

Yeah, cause I was playing around with harassment/pervert and settlement building and I was able to move the camera like before

Looks like the animation is SC maybe I'll check my install. Can't move during CS twerking, CS dildo either

I have to uses TFC twice and then the camera control changes (R2 L2 up and down)

Champion does walk back to his seat after the BJ maybe it's conflict on my end. Maybe you can confirm (maybe the name should be champion and not generic raider name?)

@4nln415 ooh, yeah, twerks are designed to be done in heels. Try them with heels and the High Heel System if you can. I can disable that option if you're not wearing heels. If you have heels, you can use roggvir no strip item so that they don't come off during AAF scenes. I've put my keywords on a bunch of heels so they don't come out, but I still need to put them on some of the vtaw patch. 

 

The dance requires Savage Cabbage. The tag is "dancing," which appears in Savage Cabbage's position data.

 

After the blowjob scene, the champion has a dialogue that will initiate an anal or vaginal scene, and after that scene, he will have another dialogue. I get the impression that's not happening in your game.

 

All of his dialogues are automatic and do not require player input. 

 

The tips for using the flagpole and dildo happen "during" the animations, not after.

You're right. I might do a clean run and try again (I did commit the ultimate sin of removing some mods)

and re-check my AAF install (it's a mess)

 

I guess in the future you can enable dress code in the Combat Zone (or not). It's WIP so it's all good.

My characters face is stuck in an expression. Is there a way to reset it to neutral?

 

Edit: Bit out of context. So I finished CS 2.8.2 J and my characters face is stuck in a certain expression. I was wondering if there is a console command to reset it? Probably more of a general engine / bethesda issue but if anyone knows, please let me know

During the Hooker Quest, after reporting to Dwayne, the dialog box below that previously appeared when wearing high heels no longer appears. When clicking on the high heels again, they will be locked without any prompt. This was not issue when playing this Quest before.

Is this table from Nuka Ride supposed to be in the DC Greenhouse? It collides with the CS mattress and the animation looks weird.

 

I have both the latest versions of both mods.

I always forget what I could do in this situation. For me, the best thing is to play without Nuka Ride and only install it after finishing Slavers. That table is used intensively in a NR quest so I can't recommend disabling it. 

 

Or you can move it with the modpos command.

Is it possible you could rotate the mattress from CS so it is placed besides the table (like in parallel with the table)? or would it conflict with other things that I don't know of?

On the topic of Nuka Ride, enabling the Hardcore mode of NR doesn't wait till Nuka Ride is actually active, it fires right away, meaning during Commonwealth Slavers you sometimes cannot drink or eat certain things, and it could possibly be that anal pain happens twice from each mod (Unsure). This is likely what caused me to not be able to use Slaver's Jet back then. (Possibly)

@JB. Here is a primary thought/idea for CS, which is then followed by a few more thoughts and feedback for CS  (+ a bump on the Nuka Ride editing effort). I'm also keeping in mind what I think could be easily done vs. some pie in the sky idea which would be completely impractical in terms of coding, etc.

 

Main idea:

I'm playing the most recent test version which you uploaded yesterday(9/5).  I've completed "the whorehouse", and "the threat", and working on next quests, both new, and "choose what you want to do" repeat quests.  I read the changelog for the latest version of the mod, and I have a question or two which goes along with the main idea I wished to suggest.  First, for me, I do not use the amputator stuff, and I avoid doing anything in the game which would lead to amputation even if I was using that mod. Amputation kind of freaks me out, but I get why you have it.  It sounds like the bad end trapper ship path can only happen if one is a quadruple amputee, or, they make you a quadruple amputee?, and then you are stuck on the trapper ship forever, and something about the "smoking man" near Drumlin who hunts you.  I wonder whether you could use the trapper ship content in two ways: 1. bad end, multiple amputee, etc. forever, as you have it, AND, 2. not a bad end, but something that happens for a time, and then the player is rescued by Gristle and Murphy and returned back to the normal slaver whorehouse, etc.  So, perhaps, if the player has behaved, and has no amputations, Gristle and crew think the player is worth rescuing, and they do rescue the player.  If the player has misbehaved and has amputations, then Gristle and crew decide that the player is not worth saving, and it's the forever bad end on the trapper ship. It wouldn't need to be anything more than a "you get bashed on the head, black screen type thing" and then you wake up back in Lindstrom's whorehouse with some dialog explaining that they rescued you from the trappers.

 

Additional ideas & feedback:

1. Maybe during "pet walk", the player starts having sex/meetings with Gristle, and they enter a sort of relationship, where, eventually, after some number of sex meetings, Gristle gives the player a pet cat which could go in the whorehouse next to Snoopy.

 

2. After any vaginal or anal sex, a little message pops up, which may or may not require any keystroke or mouse click to acknowledge, which says something like "you feel cum dripping down your inner thigh" or something like that.

 

3. I'm seconding something I saw someone else post about oral sex - that the current message where the player gets cum all over their face, etc. is a little inconsistent vs. having it all in the player's mouth and choosing to spit or swallow.  Just some changes to the AAF popup wording thing would be nice - more "in the mouth" and less "on the face".

 

*Side note on Nuka Ride, I'm still on hold, waiting for you to review the first 400 and some edits that I made. I haven't proceeded with additional work because I'm not sure yet whether you will use the edited work. No rush.

 

@ everyone else, I recently, finally, figured out how to use profiles with the Vortex mod manager, and, for me, it's so much better to just keep a profile for each main core mod that I want to play vs. trying to have everything under the sun in one profile/playthrough(and possibly disabling/deleting & installing/enabling mods during a playthrough). I currently have a profile just for Nuka Ride, Norita route, one for Slavers, and a few other ones for other main mods. Just my humble opinion. There are a lot of videos out there which show how to use profiles. It can save a lot of frustration.

I just had another issue where I completed 'The Pit', then started my 2nd 'Pet Walk', left the Whore House, walked 10m and then the quest failed randomly. Going back inside still had the dialogue as if the quest is still running aka. Lindstrom doesn't want me to come back until I got those caps to Jared.

"Pet Walk" failed? Hmm.  How many hours did you set as the limit? The default is 48 hours.

 

Currently, "Pet Walk" only ends and fail if the slavers (The Collector) have captured you. I'll be on the lookout for more reports like this.

 

As for Hardcore Mode, it's best to use Slavers and leave Nuka Ride for later. However, as you may have noticed, under normal conditions you can't play both mods at the same time. Slavers is very restrictive.

I think it was Neppy who told me that, yeah, but I really don't see a problem with it. Nora spits out whatever came into her mouth, which doesn't mean her face isn't covered in cum. 🤔

 

You can play the Trapper Ship without the Amputator. It won't be immersive, but it's there if you're curious. It's probably the most hardcore thing I've done, though, so I don't know if you should give it a try 😱

 

Your Trapper Ship idea is something I'm toying with, not for the ship, but for Nuka World. Like, you get kidnapped, but after a while Gristle comes and gets you out. But that would open the door for some sort of cooperation between Commonwealth Raiders and Nuka World.

 

Another idea is to simply have Gristle leaning against a truck during Pet Walk, and if you agree, he'll send you to Nuka World where you can wander around and earn caps. This is simpler, but I have to admit that Nora being kidnapped and made to whore for another gang is so cool. It reinforces the idea of her as an object, property, etc.

 

The profiles are essential, yeah. My Slavers setup is very different from Nuka Ride's. In Slavers, I have a desert climate with Desperados, while in Nuka Ride, I have everything with green grass and trees.

@AlyssaAwoo Okay, didn't you go into a coffee shop or something? I left a trigger there that would definitely make you fail "Pet Walk." 😱
