[Outdated] Lovers Minor Mod Pack

Odd. Stop Combat has always been a part of my load order (after lovers with pk in the load order) and I have never experienced this slowdown. I wonder if it is conflicting with something else you may be running or perhaps something to do with your machine specifications/OS/CPU.

 

I am running Win7 with the 4gb patch and the only place I have ever had a bit of stuttering is at the waterfront. Every other place in the world runs fine. I am running streamline and OSR (for memory heap management) and even Oblivion graphics extender.

Have you disabled all other plugins except official dlc and the core lovers to test this? Not trying to argue with you but I have never experienced this and no one else has ever reported it so it makes me wonder.

What I see more specifically is:

 

On the docks in anvil minimum of 40~fps as I pan the view around without stopcombatex, 30~fps with it.

 

Passing through a crowd in the town itself 30fps without, low 20s with.

 

I was used to 20s fps in towns in Oblivion it was only by chance I removed the mod a while back and saw the difference.

You might also note your computer specs (cpu type/speed, memory amount), OS type and bit (32 or 64).

 

Also note any texture packs, like Qarl's you may be using.

 

I have never seen any spamming messages in the console so I am wondering what could possibly be causing the slow down. Without isolating this down by eliminating all the different variables, there is a chance that it really is not this mod but rather the combination of this mod with other things.

 

I just have trouble believing a statement like this without any real proof to back it. Sorry, I don't mean to be offensive but at the risk of feeding folks the wrong information it is necessary to back this claim.

You're right. I think I was just suggesting that peeps try "tdt" and see how their game behaves with and without.

 

At least I can narrow it down and say it's not any conflict with new lovers mods like bravil slave trader etc since I haven't added those to this reinstall yet.

I wonder if it is something out of FCOM. And COBL - that is the source of all that is soulless and wrong - just my opinion, but F'ing hell I hate that messy mod. That thing is like the old AOL nonsense that writes itself into everything. It borked up way to many of my games. Perhaps it was just my incompetence but it always seemed to corrupt my save games.

 

I have OOO installed but that is it. I will try some tests on my end with/without.

-LoversHelpRapeVPlayer: If you have any companions with you, they will attempt to help protect you from rapist.

 

I have LoversStopCombatEx enabaled, and I DON'T have LoversHelpRapeVPlayer installed. Even so, my companions/dog/slaves/conjurations will attack my raper and interrupt the animation. Anyone know if LoversHelpRapeVPlayer is included in one of the mods or something?

Or could this be a bug with CM?

 

found problem:

 

There is an option in general settings under "sex effects" I believe, calls something like "stop (continue) combat after ... " almost last one. Sorry can't check to be sure. If "on" guards and other people will respond if someone rapes your character. Is that what you was searching for, Nightwynd?

 

Also It's sort of risky to turn it on, rapers may be killed and sometimes it's turn to a massacre in city. I was useing Reneers Guard Overhaul mod which has option to put criminals into prison instead of killing them if criminal is not attacking guards. Pretty immersive.

It "might" be a bug with CM partners as their script to defend you may be interfering with the script to stop all combat.

 

Companion ai's are often a screwy mess. Have you gone into the lovers settings and made sure that stop combat was enabled. I "think" it is disabled by default.

Yeah, it looks like this is a common problem and hasn't really been solved yet/will ever be solved. I'll try playing around with my LO and stuff, but I really hoped to go adventuring with a buddy and then watch her rape a bandit for the lulz.

 

I'm trying to just iron out all the problems/bugs I have with these few mods I have enabled so I can just play with a couple good mods.

some idea for LoversSpermSplashEx:

 

i think when it rains it should slowly remove the cum too similar to going in water removes it.

maybe some check every 10 mins if it rains and then a 25% chance to remove some cum on you?

or maybe add such a check when you go into water too, maybe every 1 min in water has a 25% chance to remove some levels of cum instead of everything at once?

 

 

 

no idea if there are multiple "levels" but if there are each check could remove one level? and not instantly everything like going in water does.

(but maybe it just adds up the cum effects in the spelleffect screen and there are no real "amount levels" or so)

 

 

another idea would be to use cloth/yarn and similar misc vanilla objects to remove cum like going in water does (or one "level" with each use if there are levels again)...

maybe some 25% chance to remove some? and it uses up one "cloth/yarn" for each try?

 

 

hmm if each "orgasm" adds i.e. +5 cum bath... and you had 4 so the spell effects show +20 cum bath... then each rain/water/cloth etc use could remove -5 ?

so the more you got on you the more checks/cloth uses are needed to remove it all again?

 

npcs could be "cleaned by rain" too then in addition to the timer... or instead of the timer it could be removed when they go to sleep? like they cleaned themself before sleeping, as they cant realy remove it with walking in water on their own.

 

maybe this could "fix" the problem with slow walking creatures (i.e. dogs lovers bitch) that sometimes happen... as rain could wash away that effect maybe? but no idea what causes this bug exactly... LoversSpermSplashEx? or masturbateing with joburg stalkers... who knows... atleast i think i read that bug somewhere in the lovers bitch area that it might be LoversSpermSplashEx that caused it.

LoversSpermSplashEx is bugged as far as I can see. It frequently does not remove correctly the negative effects from NPCs; they become permanent debuffs. No idea why though.

I'm looking for a mod that does the latter, but can't find one so far.

LoversEscapeRapeVPlayer: Looks like this one prevents rape from happening if you're holding the block button, not stopping a rape mid-animation.

 

I'm not sure about the other.

Actually I don't think that is correct. It is Joburg that has a block to prevent stalking rapes at the start. These two are for interrupting rapes in progress.

 

 

LoversEscapeRapeVPlayer <---this one has you hitting the block key to interrupt the rape.

 

LoversHelpRapeVPlaye <---this one has your companions\other nearby npc's come and try to rescue you.

Concerning combat rapes, I think LoversRaperS has an option for controlling how effective a block is on attempted combat rape, up to 100%. But I haven't been in a situation to test if it works myself.

You can't use both LoversEscapeRapeVPlayer and LoversHelpRapeVPlayer together. If you do then the they won't work correctly.

 

 

As to RaperS - the vanilla version does not have this feature. Now the modified versions are a completely different story.

It may not work with the latest version of lovers with pk.  Many of the plugins in this pack are badly outdated.

Hide menus only is supposed to work during the sex act itself, but as I said, this plugin is really old.

Tried to use this mod, but it insisted that I didn't have Pluggy installed.  I have all four that are available on the nexus. (and tried all four...)  Which version of pluggy does this particular mod demand? And if it's not one on the nexus where could I find it?

Also are you sure you installed pluggy to the correct location?

You may also need to rename pluggy to OBSE_Elys_Pluggy_HUD.dll

 

Again, not sure if any of the stuff in the pack work correctly with the latest version of lovers with pk (rev96).

Yes. My load order is reported here (I use LoversJoystick.esp patch for LAPF from Setbody Reloaded, which forced me to use a slightly different approach respect to Greg's recommendations to sort mods).
