May I ask how you tested it out? You enabled crash log or something similar? if yes, may I have a look?

Sorry to disappoint, but I only turned off the mod, and any mods that required it in MO's left pane.

It's nothing disappointing. It's just that there's a myriad of reasons for Skyrim to crash. The ability to modify the game itself is a boon and a bane at the same time. I'm not saying that having a crash log will immediately solve everything, it might help shed some light on the situation tho.

OK, so I did some work while I was waiting for a reply, and I found out my Nemesis generated files (not Nemesis itself), and TUDM was causing the crashes on load. I have yet to find out if theres any other issues atm, but I cant seem to fix Nemesis. Something keeps causing it to.... have issues. For my current playthrough I can just remove TUDM tho.

Nemesis is crashing only once upon starting it up initially (if I remove any previous generated files), and is detecting SSE animations and giving me one specific warning about 2 individual files. Other than that it seems fine.

For the record tho, I do remember the author of one of my mods says Nemesis would throw errors, and that it was a false positive. I dont know which it is, but I have had the previously mentioned issue with nemesis crashing before. Normally reinstalling fixed it - sometimes - but I'd like to make sure thats the solution before I do anything stupid.

Game seems to run fine outside Mod Organizer (when run via File Explorer) so my thinking is that it cant be an ini, enb, or game file issue.

But here's the part that confuses me : it cant be a mod file, load order, or mod related ini file error either because I disabled literally every mod and nothing changed. So all the normal advice goes flying out the window. I am running LE, not SE and I have tried in addition to the above :

-Reinstalling almost a dozen times

-reinstalling enb/reshade

-disabling both enb and/or reshade individually

-changing values for the skyrim/prefs ini's

-repairing VRC and DirectX

-and removing all dll files from the directory to check if any were corrupted

This has been a problem for a couple weeks now and im stuck. I really need some idea of what the hell this is.

Did you check the save?

> Size

> Fallrimtools

> SKSE co save created (ess and skse file for every save)

> Are you loading the right saves related to your LO? Where are the saves saved to? MO directory or user directory?

> are you loading old saves or newly created ones?

How did you install SKSE and ENB files?

> via MO or into Skyrim/data

> do the ini for ENB/SKSE end up in MO folder or skyrim/data

Mo can be confusing, are you sure all the files that need to be in Skyrim data are there while everything else end up in overwrite or in MO created mods (for overwrite files).

Is the overwrite empty or do you have leftovers?

Oops, didn't see the update.

Do I get it right and you use SSE files on your LE game?

Do you mix FNIS and Nemesis animations (creature animations and non creature animations)

No to both questions. I dropped FNIS like a sack of shit cus I dont use creature animations
And the SSE flag on those files - presumably - is a false positive. Assuming its the mod that I was mentioning above. Not 100% sure tho. I do remember some warnings coming up on a previous playthrough tho and nothing bad happened so I assume its the same one.

You are still not making much sense.

You keep banging on about ini files, dlls, your enb etc.

I dont use Loot, as its just not needed for how I have my mods organized in the left pane of MO.

I didn't use MO but should not the left pane reflect what is happening in the right pane rather than the other way around? MO, as far as I am aware has its own plug-in sorter which is why I made the qualification about LOOT.

If your plug-ins are loading in the wrong order, i.e. dependencies loading before their master then you will have problems.

Post your plug-in list so we can have a look at it.

Everything but that last line there isnt the case. Namely because I have the animation limit fix, so its not actually possible for me to be over the limit

That makes no sense for a couple of reasons.

@alex77r4's last line was "You have updated a mod with DLL in mid game and that DLL can't read the SKSE co-save = delete the co-save and try again."

The line above that was "You miss some stability tools or have it bad configured" which is presumably what you were referring to.

Animation Limit Crash Fix only removes the limit for the number of animations, it does not help with anything else. Nothing of what you wrote addresses the issue of badly configured stability tools (which is largely the ini files).

Stability tools include Crash Fixes, Beth Ini and a properly configured ENB/ENBoost.

My advice at this point would be for you to:

Rrevisit some MO tutorial vids (e.g. Gamer Poets) to make sure you have MO set up correctly.

Use Beth Ini to make sure your ini files are okay.

Double check Crash Fixes settings.

Use ENBoost rather than an ENB preset until you have your game stable and saves working.

Disable all you mods and add them back a few at a time, checking the game as you go.

Aight, so I figured out what my issue was. It was my Nemesis generated files for SkySA and TUDM. I have no idea why these files consistantly produced these crashes, however I did take the liberty of reinstalling the main mods and redoing my nemesis generated files and there was no change. The crash persisted.

Anyone know what I could do to fix this? I have determined that if I disable TUDM and the nemesis generated files my game works fine, and I can load saves. But I cant play without SkySA now, and I really have no clue what im doing as far as animations.
