I have build morphs checked in Bodyslide, but I guess I have to run the batch build option rather than just the nif slider right? Do I even need to change the nif? Also, when using Bodyslide, do I need to change the pregnancy slider for the body I use (your preset in this case) for it to appear or do in game morphs handle that?

if everything is set to 0 then there is something wrong with your installation, double check that SGO4if is enabled after sgo4 base.

Yes, you need batch build morphs, nothing else needs changing.

No, you do not need to change slider in bodyslide, as long as you build morphs it should work fine in game.

Nothing was set to zero, but just the default values (as in click the default option in the slider) is set to zero. So to reiterate my question though, what do the sliders even do? What are they for? Is it necessary to add multiple sliders in the mcm?

If all default values are 0, there is something wrong with the install.

Even if the install was messed up (although not sure how it could be since there isn't a fomod anyway), what are the default settings then? I saw pregnancy slider was set for 1.00 at startup, weight was set to -0.05 and milk was set to .03 I think.

Read the FAQ and the Documentation. You yourself said you are using an old version, can't help you more.

I am a bit lost in SE modding, was wondering if i could ask some questions .  

In the LE SGO you can bring up dial wheel an insert gem manualy, when i try this for SE only the scanner seems to run the adds a wiedget top right but the menu doesnt open.  Have a missed some things imporant for SE modding? SE 1.6.117.0 i just donwloaded all mods fresh

Are you using both SGO4 and SGO4IF? (SGO4IF needs to be loaded after SGO¤)

Have you enabled the mod in th mcm?

Yeah i have both, and the mod mcm says its tracking my character, maybe im just used to old LE where its 100% to get gems. But still cant get the shout menu to open only use the tracking one.

Not sure if this matters, but i double checked requirements and i have console Utill SSE NG maybe that is why i cant use the normal menu, The other console utill isnt compatabile with my version, unles theres a old version for 1.6.117

Could you elaborate on the problem, Does the SGO4 Power not work at all?

[SGO4] Main Menu doesnt seem to work.  When i shout Z default use key it makes a sound, name greys out for a few seconds but no menu pops open, the MCM and consolne output seem to work just fine i just cant acces the shout menu.

Ok, Swaping ESP load order's was the problem i think. atleast it works in qasmoke but must be baked in my game. so will try a new game and see

Yeah that would be the reason for your issue.

Not retarded, You just didn't read through the hundreds of lines of changelog. Understandable.

Currently only soulgem fragments can be inserted, and results in a black soul gem with drastically lowered growth rates.

Not retarded, You just didn't read through the hundreds of lines of changelog. Understandable.

Currently only soulgem fragments can be inserted, and results in a black soul gem with drastically lowered growth rates.

Adding this to the documentations rar in next update.

If I do clean install of these mods (the one from git hub and yours 1.9 overwriting it) they don't work nativly with 3BA.
More over original mod has script RaceMenuMorphsCBBE.pex that is based on CBBE scripts, not 3BA so it brears 3BA body morf sliders in Racemenu. And I also have to manusally write slider nale Belly - Pregnant in MCM because by default there is CBBE slider name instead.

I guess you should put correct script for 3BA in your mod and also check MCM.

3BA uses CBBE slider names where applicable. Something is broken on your end.

Not going to include another Racemenumorphs script, As then it will break racemenu for anyone not using 3BA.

Sorry, but I believe there’s a mistake regarding the RaceMenuMorphsCBBE.pex file. I’ve recorded a screencast to prove that the CBBE and 3BA RaceMenuMorphsCBBE.pex files are completely different. You can view it here: https://disk.yandex.ru/i/9kkkJuZoD7Nuuw.
If your mod is meant to be used with the 3BA body, this file will break things because the “dse-soulgem-oven-vbeta8” mod is designed to be used with the CBBE body only.

As I mentioned before, the file is not included in your mod, but is found in the original version on GitHub. I did a clean installation on a vanilla game to test this, so I’m 100% sure it’s not an issue on my end. Since I’m experienced with Skyrim modding, I even managed to merge and recompile the file myself to fix the issue.

Thanks for your time. I’m just sharing this here to help others who might encounter the same problem.

Aaah, i get what you mean.

 

Yes, the original mod includes the original CBBE Racemorphs files.

Yes, this does mean that you will not have the new 3BA Morphs in your racemenu.

This however should not break SGO4IF 3BA compatibility. Morphs in config should still apply properly, Just tested on my end with nothing replacing Beta8's RaceMenuMorphsCBBE script.

 

I agree that this isn't optimal, but i am not sure that adding my own 3BA morphs as a script is the best solution, Would need to check if other body mods share the same script or not.

For now il add it as a FAQ question/solution. Thnx for the report.

 

Edit: Looks like Bhunp includes its own of the morph scripts. Can probably include my own version, Probably in next update.

Is it possible to incorporate custom race NPCs into this mod using the JSON files in the config?
or are there plans to implement such functionality in a future update?

hello, plz help the is no option to birth a filled gem. I read a few places it should be in the mcm under gameplay, but its not there?, thank you, also how and why do you insert the gems?, and how do i get souls for purification, and what does purification and corruption work?, thank you :D

So I have a save with SGO 1.8 installed, and then when I tried to update to 1.9.1, I noticed that the esp had been renamed from "SGO 4 Integration fork.esp" to "SGO4IF.esp".
Is it safe to update with an existing save, specifically if I rename the esp back to the full name in 1.8?


I accidentally installed 1.9.1 to overwrite 1.8, not realizing that the esp name had changed, so both esps were active at the same time for a few saves until I realized the change. It didn't seem to break anything, but this mod shouldn't be loaded twice and I already deleted the few saves I made with these duplicate esps just in case

Yes, it is completely possible, Check what i did in:

configs\dse-soulgem-oven\raceids\2_VanillaHumanoidExtraRaceIds.json

And

configs\dse-soulgem-oven\outputs\2_VanillaHumanoidExtraOutputs.json

And just replicate it in 2 new Json files with your appropriate custom races.

Birthing changed in the 1.9 update, There is no longer a toggle, and every "partner" has a custom output. check configs\dse-soulgem-oven\outputs for actual outputs, you can configure these to give whatever you want.

 

Corruption/Purification is a way to force increase/decrease SGO4IF Milk/Gem Levels. If you go into mcm you can change the cost to 0. It costs filled black soulgems by default.

Changed name due to it specifically being a save breaking update. Either completely clean your save of any SGO4IF mentions, or start a new save.
