I have the mod installed with Alternate Start, after I activate the mod, it CTD when I talk to the statue. does anyone know whats going on?

So I was wondering after working out this mod, most of the time the victim doesn't get enslaved quick even after I uped the enslavement chance for Trauma, exhausion, fleeing away and me not being in the scene.

 

How do each one of them out?

FSM has no interactions with Alternate Start and there have been no other reports of issues so I suspect your problem lies elsewhere

Enslavement depends on a number of factors in addition to the chance set in the FSM MCM:

  • The follower must have been assaulted after being defeated
  • To be a valid master an aggressor has to have either hit or had sex with the follower during the encounter
  • The selected aggressor must also be a valid FSM Master and be ActorTypeNPC or in the list of valid Slaver Races in Utility.json
  • Each aggressor can only enslave one Follower
  • The aggressor must be within 200' of the Follower when the enslave event fires.
  • The player must either be > 25' from the Follower or also have been Defeated.

Thanks for the explanation, it's clearer now than before. Maybe I have a few mods that are bugging in between causing FSM to lagg.

In the defeat MCM, how long do you have the trauma, exhaustion and fleeing duration set to. FSM, won't get to the enslavement until defeat is done doing it's thing, so if the duration of whichever one triggers is set to 120 seconds, then FSM won't do any chance of enslaving until those 2 minutes are over. I think the minimum duration in defeat for these options is like 10 seconds but I can't remember precisely, I have mine set to 30 seconds because I feel like that's enough time for other scripts or combat to resolve, there's noticeable scrtpt stuff happening after FSM triggers, because it'll start equipping DD items and boy is DD just kind of a slow scripted mess.

There isn't a dialogue, you just need to talk to the follower so that skyrim in general knows you have a follower, just an idiosyncrasy of the game. You can check if the follower is properly recognized if you go to the enslavement menu and they are available.

Is it necessary for me to include all the bandits from the vanilla game in the json files in order for them to be registered as masters? I attempted to have my follower attack the bandit boss in Swindler's Den, but nothing happened. I noticed that in the utility json, only the frost trolls, trolls, and falmer races are listed. I am unsure whether I need to add the vanilla races and or if I should add each one individually to make this work. I have tried numerous attempts to get my follower enslaved by the bandit boss and ran near the entrance in Swindlers Den once when she was on the verge of being assaulted. However, Aela dosen't get enslaved. I am doing this in VR, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it?

I see, I've been facing CTD issues when that event takes place.

This mod adds a huge amount of emergent gameplay. Part of my gameplay now is to try to rescue my enslaved followers. Makes sense. But I'm speaking about a little immersion, just like how the Bane added a feature about the master having sex with his slave at a set intervals just like that, the slave could like serve food or hold a tray of wine when the master in sitting or standing near the table or maybe even dance when a master in a Jarl's throne.

So yes - Non-Hostile masters will sell you their slave for a random price - if you don't buy the slave they will eventually either escape, or be sold on to another master. Not sure what other options could be added in a Non-Hostile scenario?

 

Like the master asking you to do a few really difficult talks of slaying dragons, clearing an entire dungeon or getting something rare to find(as rare as f*ck as Berenziahs gems LOL) or maybe add a feature where just refuse to give him his slave even if he's friendly xD

No  - ActorTypeNPC actors are automatically eligible so Bandits are covered by that

This is correct - but bear in mind that talking to the follower means having a normal vanilla dialog  with them,  not a  pop up  custom follower command menu

Never selling the slave is a dead end - but it  might  be possible to add a cooldown timer during which the master is enjoying the "benefits" of their new slave so won't sell them

Yup, like 7 days or something? Maybe add huge amount of ransom money if a player wants her back immediately. Either way I think lowest ransom amount of 500 is too low, personally I set it at like 4000 or something given the fact I'm playing a male Imperial dragonborne.

 

Here's another Idea

How about adding a feature from HSH mod where the slave can be supposedly be made to pose. Like in this mod if the master is being seated(especially the throne) then the slave kneels down or sits sideways legs crossed.

I am using sexlab defeat bane edition.

  • My follower was assaulted / raped after being defeated.
  • The follower engaged in sexual activity.
  • You stated that bandits are automatically qualified, so the bandit boss should register.
  • The bandit boss doesn't have a slave.
  • I am uncertain if I have run a sufficient distance, but I have made my way to the entrance and attempted various distances, yet it dosen't work. Although, I have disabled the palyer from being a victim.

I have this same issue, but it's not just the statue, but any dialogue. Alternate Start or not. Any dialogue causes an immediate CTD. Removing FSM solves the problem.

I'm going to guess that there might be a dependency version issue here as there are only 2 reports of this in 40k of downloads.

 

What versions of Skyrim,  PowerofThree's Papyrus Extender,  PapyrusUtil and JContainers are you using?

 

Are you using a follower framework - if so which one and what version?

 

Can you post a script log covering game load to crash  and also a Crash log please

Using the latest update, SL Defeat enslavement is working ok in Swindlers Den in my testing - update and give it a another try.

Hello, Unfortunately, there's no log in the game directory. Or where should I look for it? It may already be gone, as I've launched the game several times since I uninstalled FSM, though there were no other CTDs.

I'm not sure of the Skyrim version, but it's the latest VR, which hasn't changed for some years now. I suppose this is where our investigation ends. I wouldn't even have bothered posting this, if it weren't for that other user reporting the same issue. That gave me some hope it might not be VR-specific. Also, I wanted to point out that the crash isn't triggered just by the statue, but by any dialogue.

PapyrusUtil is also the latest VR one – 3.6b
EFF is version v4-0-5
PapyrusExtender is version VR - 4.3
JContainers is version VR 4.1.13

You didn't!

 

The current version of PO3's VR Extender (which should be installed as a patch over the latest  SE version) is  5.6.1.2 so yours is very out of date - try updating and see if it solves your problem

Getting a little over one hundred suspended scripts on the new fsm version. Not sure if it is because I didn't clean old version when updating but I've not had this issue before when upgrading between versions.
