Is this mod still incompatible with Intimate Encounters (IE)?

I really want to use your mod (especially with court-open-to-anyone fix), but IE kinda an important mod for me. So-called "deal breaker"

Hello. I finally got CC Lite working for the first time, and it's a great mod. It works just fine immediately at the start of the game before I press the green arrow for the first time to advance time, and then, the game promptly crashes. I've tried games where I advanced time first before going into CC Lite with a lover, and it still crashes the instant I try to advance time. 

 

My mod order is follows (and these are the only mods in my playlist!):

Character Body Overhaul

CBO 1.7 patch

Carnal Court Lite

 

At first, I had the Carnalitas- Historical Slavery Doctrine mod in second place after Carnalitas, and the game worked and then crashed the same way. I realized that I probably didn't need the C-HSD mod, so I took it out. The game won't load at all without the CBO 1.7 patch.

 

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

Did your base game update to paradox's 1.8 patch? Because Carnalitas is currently crashing with that update, which came out yesterday.  Anything using that in the load order is likely to crash almost immediately in game right now.

Just wanted to note that I've been having intermittent issues, sometimes sex scenes are working, sometimes not.  I'm attempting to test to see if I can find any consistent reasons why.  The avenue I am looking at right now is that if I create a ruler that is 18 to begin with, it's working as expected.  If I create a ruler that is under 18 and then later turns 18, the scenes are breaking.  Whether this is due to the character or the passage of time in game I'm not yet sure, but thought I'd mention it in case anyone else has noted any issues.

Think I may have isolated this, forgot to turn off my immortality testing mod, I believe it stopped their age increasing, so the sex scenes still regard the character as under 18.  So crisis averted.

Many of the courts added with CFP seem to not be working for me with this mod, ie the Pope and HRE courts. I'm not sure if it's my load order or not, but I've followed the suggested order on the mod page.

Yeah, for me so far, only the Byzantine, Norman and Christian Andalusion custom courts are working

I tried to build the patch myself by copying and pasting the newest CFP code and then manually adding the things Carnal Court Lite needs to add and it still didn't work, so it must be something else that I'm missing.

Digging into the files, graphically when Carnal Court was made, only 4 different scenes with beds were designed.  Carnal Court Lite also mirrors that limitation as no graphical assets were added as far as I can tell.  Within the files it maps each original vanilla game culture into one of these four scenes.

 

Western -> Western

Norse -> Western

Mediterranean -> Mediterranean

Iberian Christian -> Mediterranean

Iberian Islamic -> MENA  (Middle East/North Africa)

MENA Islamic -> MENA

African Islamic -> MENA

Steppe Islamic -> MENA

Indian -> Indian

 

Everything else falls back to Western as a failsafe in the code.

 

From the look of it, the CCL-CFP Compatch adds a lot of new triggers for additional cultures to match CFP, so that it applies these mapping rules to the more specific cultures in CFP, but again it doesn't add any new scenes, so I assume these additonal cultures should fall back to using the Western setting.

 

If there's any new cultures or changes not included in the Compatch's "CFP_scenes_cultures.txt" file, it's possible they don't fall back to the Western setting properly, so might need to be added or amended in the Compatch.

 

That said, this won't address any issues around outfits, hair and so forth that CFP might have with the underlying CBO bodies and animations, so probably still wouldn't allow a new version of CFP to be used.

That was the first thing I thought, but as far as I can tell the CFP compatch DOES have the more recent Papal and HRE cultures represented in the code, which should allow their unique courts to show up. The only thing I can think of is that the issue lies in Carnal Court Lite's code rather than the compatch. All I know for sure is that the issue (obviously) comes from Carnal Court Lite in some way.

I have a problem. I'm playing in Mongolia as a duke under some liege. I tried to demand sex from sex slave, and it transported me to courtroom, but my liege was sitting on the throne there only, no bed was visible.

 So I've just reinstalled, and I have an issue where "Make Love" simply brings me to my throneroom rather than the bed? I've tried to search for a solution, but I had no luck.  Mod order attached. Any ideas?

Feral Beard you are playing a Total Conversion mod of Fallen Eagle . 

So either you learn to mod , the gfx cultures and scenesetting grandeur to make Carnal Court compatible with Fallen Eagle. 

But you are in carnal courtlite.. section.

 

But the way I see it , paradox mod system is a mess.. I can't imagine how many stuff will conflict with one and other with these mods load order. 

While working even my version of CK3 has plenty of errors. 

 

I can't imagine adding a total conversion mod on top of that mess

Anyway you need to copy paste this into the gfx\court_scene\scene_settings\grandeur_levels\ grandeur file

Hello, may I ask why after I enter the palace sex animation scene, the buttons in the UI are missing, and I can neither select nor stop the animation? Maybe my English is not very good, please understand.

It is because Carnal court is now integrated into CBO and you are using Carnal Court Lite on top of it. So basically you have carnal court installed 2 times which cause the issue.

Now I only installed the CBO does not have a problem, but I found that there is no mobile camera, and I also want to install other animation packages, how to do?
