Quick question, if I may: how do I get a slave to discipline 10? I can raise discipline well enough, but every time her affection rises, I lose the point of discipline again. And I'm at the point where even saying blatantly horrible things to her raises her affection.

 

I know you prefer folks to find these things out immersively, and I've been trying, but I can't seem to gain a point without losing it again on the next interaction.

It's a bit simplistic but only trauma raises discipline. I guess it is a bit confusing that the abusive lines raise affection. To me it's a bit intuitive that it would cause human psycology is weird. Basically, beating, and fisting are the ways to go, and avoid "D/s themed comments (Unless you wish to draw it out). You can only administer 2 beatings at a time, as there is a cooldown, and adminstering more during it will result in negative discipline. Once they are broken you can say whatever you want to them as discipline becomes meaningless, and only irrational love or rape will make them a full slave.  (discipline still affects how they react to you and some henchman dialogue though) Any sex if they are a victim counts as a rape, including prostituttion and sex with followers so it's pretty easy to train them fully pretty fast if you want.

 

Certain extremely traumatic events can break them instantly, such as forced incest or being a giant's offering.  Having them be a Camp follower and assist in training another slave can also break them quickly.

No, no, I totally get that. I was just hoping that a little psychological torture might be useful as well.

 

Oh well, brutality only until they break, and then play Stockholm Syndrome games with them? That's doable.

I balanced so a little "spoonful of sugar" is ideal, as if you min-max it they'll break a little too fast.  If anything it's flexible.

 

Oh and one more tip... for a lot of the stockholm syndrome lines the script is only applied at the last line and usually only if you praise them like saying good girl, or something like "This is for your own good you'll see"... etc... If you laugh in their face or be silent. "..." that won't add the love points. It won't give discipline either though.

Fuck. Found another "eaten" source file. I had to check them all (85) and back up the restored version. Man... I gotta be less cavalier about Compile all in the CK. This is gonna suck as I am gonna have to spot check them again before release now.

I almost have everything back together and am adding the last few things within a day or 2 the mod should be feature complete and as I said before this will be the final version so if I left out anyone's requests, I'm sorry but the burnout demon is catching up with me.  

 

Then there will be a minimum of two weeks testing but maybe as much as a month. I will release more info before release.

It's a good sign that I just made myself hot writing dialogue again... Doesn't happen that often.

 

Started testing... What's there is fun, but it pointed out a few areas that needed polish. Also I am pushing 11,000 lines.

I'm having a problem when enslaving "helping" beggars. When picking the good option and making them my loyal minion, everything is ok. But when I make them my slave, they're falling over as if they're constantly punched. Can't talk to them because they're just whimpering to stop and ragdolling mid dialogue and changing location, reloading or waiting doesn't help either.

Haven't tried on other people yet, so for now I can only say it's with the beggars

Some kind of spell is likely constantly "attacking" them. I prevented the vanilla harmless spells like healing from doing that so it's almost certainly something from another mod. Not much I can do about it I am afraid. The training hinges on being able to attack them and having them react to it. You should look over your mod list and try to figure out what's causing it.

Don't attempt to use the Reset NPC cooldown or NPC clear history option in the debug ring apparently I never hooked the dialogue up. If you attempted to use it in the past, type Getglobalvalue _T_NMS_Reset in the console. If it's greater than zero type Set _T_NMS_Reset to 0 in the console otherwise the next time you encounter the script that does gagged bondage it will reset the NPCs cooldowns instead. It will be fixed in the final version.

 

This is the problem with making mods so large that they are basically impossible to fully test.
