Kamen Rider Kuuga
So it's only been an hour and a half and people are already calling this the WORST. SALE. EVER. because everything isn't instantly 75% off and supposedly they can get better deals elsewhere. Meanwhile I'm stuck with this useless paper money and I can't buy anything. Link to comment
Astaroth-Lite
Lets be paper money friends. Link to comment
Adam Jensen
Dunno about you guys, but I voted for BL2 at 10 bucks. I know some of my friends would love to get their hands on that game. Link to comment
Kamen Rider Kuuga
I voted for Borderlands 2 because it was the middle option. Not like I'm gonna buy the three games currently being voted for, so I just picked the middle. Because it was in the middle. Link to comment
Ark of Truth
Just let them complain, Steam can only give the discounts the publishers say they can give. Most publishers keep prices up until Christmas as Christmas is more popular for sales. Come on the sale has only just started so how can it be the worst one? Link to comment
gregathit
The normal sales are .....ok. It is the flash sales that you need to keep your eyes on. That is generally where the real savings are going to be found. Link to comment
tattooedillusions
Voted BL2 myself. Anyone else having store overload errors fairly frequently or is it just me? Link to comment
Ark of Truth
Voted BL2 myself. Anyone else having store overload errors fairly frequently or is it just me? Yep, happens with every summer and Christmas sale. Link to comment
tattooedillusions
That's what I thought. I didn't remember it being this bad last year or even during the christmas sale but then again my memory isn't what it used to be ha ha. Thanks for confirming that I'm not totally going insane yet Ark. Link to comment
Adam Jensen
It wouldn't be a good steam summer sale without a good amount of crashing ! Link to comment
Ark of Truth
Well it's not crashing. It's just denying your connection access to the store page. Link to comment
Astaroth-Lite
Every year, every year. "I don't have a credit card." And then the little discount tags mock me. Link to comment
Ark of Truth
You guys do know debit and credit cards are to different things right? Well I know over here in the UK they are. Debit - Is your money which you don't have to pay back. Credit - You borrow it from the bank but must pay it back Link to comment
Astaroth-Lite
>implying I even have a debit card Link to comment

RitualClarity
Ok I am not getting any games right now however I read some the post and it seems that BL2 is the choice for this round so I voted for it as well. .. Maybe someone might get some use out of this sale... BL2 is an awesome game. I already own it. (For Free!!! given with a computer upgrade...) Link to comment
RitualClarity
Ah ... This reminds me of Christmas. Ah the joys of waiting hours to look at what they have to offer... Good that I don't want anything anyway. No sooner than I clicked on Vote .. bam no service. Link to comment

Nonsense667
BORDERLANDS 2 ALL DLC AND EVERYTHING 66% OFF. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nicvyhrmTDs I'M COMING HOME BABY (Now I just need to figure out what all to buy to get everything. With the season pass and all that. >.>) Edit: though I managed to be frugal and not buy the additional cosmetics, or the slaughterdome. Just the Season pass and two characters. that's $11.30 that can be spent on something else, hah. Link to comment
Strelky
I usually have the epic luck of spending $400 on games then seeing almost every one pop up in a sale, namely: -Dishonored -Metro: Last Light -Saints Row: The Third -Borderlands 2 -Left 4 Dead 2 -The entire Bioshock series -Team Fortress 2 Maybe I'm just stupid, or I forget within six months that they have sales , anyway I'm excited to see what else there is Link to comment
Dude500X
not a big deal of a sale to me, I spent the last of my money on Pokemon though (series 1 to 9) instead of games this year. I did get Brave New World though, so I am happy about that. Link to comment

I check it occasionally especially during holidays and such. When it hits the price I get it. I usually have some money saved up just for that purpose. It took me a long time to get Skyrim... however Steam did piss me off after Christmas when they dropped the price even more... Dam you Steam. Link to comment
Astaroth-Lite
More people need to be buying this game: http://store.steampowered.com/app/222750/ Seriously, it is so good, and it's half-off! Link to comment

Well, I've been on the fence on purchasing it ever since it came out, hah. I'm attempting buy as few games as possible during the sale. Just what I really want/am interested in. So far: Don't Starve, Sleeping Dogs, and Borderlands 2. I might just use your post as the last little nudge to go ahead and grab it. (Though I was leaning toward that anyways. ) Edit: Oh yeah, good "guideline" I've found for the Steam Sale. Focus on your wishlist. If it's on your list, feel free to think about buying it. If it's not, think twice. At least that's what I'm doing. Link to comment
