Guest Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 Hi, I had an old version of SexOut working fine, but I have made a fresh install and wanted to test the new one (2.6.78). I have NVSE 11 working properly and the BnB BodyExtender Compatability Skeleton installed. Appart from Sexout, the only mod I have right now is the MCM. This is my loading list: Load order: FalloutNV.esm Sexout.esm SexoutSharedResources.esm The Mod Configuration Menu.esp Total active plugins: 4 Total plugins: 4 The problem is that New Vegas is crashing on me whenever I click "quit" to exit the game, either from the game or the start menu. This only happens when I activate the Sexout.esm before launching the game and stop happening as soon as I deselect it. I have tested sexout animations installing other plugins (Sexout Assault) and they are working fine. The only problem so far are these crashes on quiting. Sorry if this problem has already been posted but I do have searched and found nothing.

Now i use New Vegas Stutter Remover (http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/34832//?) that has the quick exit functionality that shuts the game down before it has time to crash, similar to the OBSE plugin for Oblivion. As a side effect it also removed my loading screen freezes

Thanks to a post KainsChylde made earlier this year. I'll make a list a steps to make it easier. 1: Download the latest New Vegas Stutter Remover HERE 2: Open the zipped file and place sr_New_Vegas_Stutter_Remover.dll file in the NVSE Plugins folder. ( /falout new vegas/Data/nvse/plugins) 3: Run the game like you normally do 4: Exit the game (it will crash, but don't worry) 5: there will be a new ini file called sr_New_Vegas_Stutter_Remover (just like the dll file). 6: Open this new ini file 7: Look for bFastExit = 0 (it will be near the top) 8: Replace the 0 with 1 9: Save the file 10:Make sure you eat plenty of fiber to stay regular 11: Now New Vegas wont crash when you quit Thanks
prideslayer Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 I'm aware of the problem. It's next on my todo list to investigate as soon as I get the NX beta out the door. Believe me, as a modder working on NX that is constantly starting the game, typing one or two NX commands, then quitting.. it's a lot more annoying for me than it is for players. It's a high priority.

Thanks to ritualclarity's advice I was able to stop getting the crash on exit every single time I exited F:NV. I had to keep FOMM running to prevent having to restart my PC which was annoying. I still keep FOMM up for my game crashes though. They are rarer these days, but not done away with. 100% crash free=dream.

nutluck Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 I just got FONV and was uploading mods, I am having this problem where the game crashes on exit after installing sexout. Has there been a fix made for this? If so could it be added to Bruces great installation guide? Edit: I found a fix with the stutter mod, but you might want to add the information about that in the OP so people realize they didn't install wrong and it is just a issue with sexout and the fix.
