Well i finished my edits for the tails and they all work.

Edited the large and small tails to include the tufts of hair from the LE models. Ive changed the default texture to be greyscale so it picks up hair colour better than the default brown. Tail colour is still a little darker than the haircolour but ive tried to lighten up the texture so it matches a bit better (it will probably never be perfect given its always a tint on top of something else.).

The small tails now use the same tuft model as the large tails but scaled down to resemble the original size, they are just a tad longer. For some reason i couldn't get the original small tail tuft to update colour via hair tint despite having the same settings.

I noticed the hair colour updates only happen once per session so if you are using mods like YPS or BImbos of Skyrim youll have to quit to main menu and load back in for the colours to update.

Contents:

2 .nifs for each colour of fur, 1 for the large tail and 1 for the small tail. 10 in total.

NO included .xml for the physics.

Requirements:

As these use the files by Unknown22923 i would recommend grabbing that at least for the physics file included. I have not tested the tails without it but "should" work.

If anyone encounters any issues let me know and ill see what i can do. Dont expect much tho im still new to this stuff.

BaC Tail Edit.rar 2.04 MB · 14 downloads

It works perfectly thank you

I'm getting a weird issue, the nose ring is too low and is basically attached through the upper lip. I adjusted the depth through the MCM but it is still too low vertically and I can't figure out how to change it. At first I thought I'd just have to rebuild it in bodyslide but I also can't find it there at all.

I never had this issue before so I think my nose is just higher/smaller on this character but I'm perplexed at how to fix it without just adjusting my nose?

the nose ring is only available on nose height zero. There are 225 meshes necessary just for that height (see subdirectories in data\meshes\bac\combo). IDK if there's any mass processing tool available that can translate all those nifs up or down in one go, if you find one, please tell me.

OK no problem, thanks for the reply!

After being caught, why wasn't a ring and a bell put on?

No need to shout here. While within the furniture, BAC does no longer apply any modifications unless you explicitly allow it in MCM ("Allow equipping in furniture"). This is due to some CTDs happening when equipping items that change the actor's base node (high heels translation, etc.). The equip will happen at some later update point (max. ~ 1 game hour).

Depending on the CowBack/CowNeck mutations, BAC modifies both 1st and 3rd person camera settings in a ways that without any camera mods, a) in 1st person you can see your hands as expected and b) in 3rd person the camera is hovering above your shoulder. Now the 1st person modification requires bac to also raise arm and shoulder bones in 1st person only, else you'd have the heightened viewpoint but would be unable to see your hands. Some items (in most cases it's the nose ring, in your case it's the tongue) seem to stick within that 1st person view. If you are able to compile scripts, try extracting bac_camerapos.psc from bac.bsa and the modify that (mainly function ResetCamera), maybe it helps.

Thanks for the reply, Im unfamiliar with compiling scripts but will give it a shot over next few days and see if i can continue to trouble shoot

Hey everyone. I don't have a Skyrim license. Can you tell me where I can download a suitable version? Or the name...

You have been pestering the forum with request of help installing the mod, and now you're asking for a pirated version of the game. Suspect how you are going to play the mod in the first place.

This is not a pirate software site.

You are breaking the rules, and setting a trap for members or the site itself.

A suitable version in Steam or GOG.

GOG has it in discount 16.50 $-USA.  no-DRM

Well, I'm sorry, I've been trying to install all this for so long and I still haven't managed to delete it all, so I'm trying again now...

Does BAC force you to milk yourself at all besides with Untamed Milk? I'm really trying to use Corruption's addiction system to force involuntary milking but every time she gets near full she just hand-milks on the spot which invalidates the majority of the Corruption events' chances of occurring. I can't for the life of me figure out what mod is doing it. I do have Untamed Milk but I also have its hourly chance set to 0. It doesn't seem to happen at low MM levels (which has trick me into thinking I fixed it) but once I hit a capacity of like 12 it starts happening again.

Could MME itself be doing this? I've combed through its MCM a ton and found nothing suggesting it would but lots of settings are vaguely named with no description. Searched through its thread a bunch too but no clear indication and the author is usually less than helpful to questions.

Please, I need help. Custom followers don't work with the mod, even though they're of the standard breed. They don't turn into cows. How do I fix this?

What is standard breed? Are they highland or angus? It is race?  Some follower mods rename the custom race with the same name as standard races.

Did you try with a standard not-modified Skyrim follower like Jenassa? Test all stages of conversion with the standard follower before trying a custom one.

To test in MME, enable debug spells to make new Milkmaids. Target standard follower, and update it MMe levels in the Debug milkmaid slave options. Add more lactacid, milk, milked stats and levels.  See the results on follower after closing menu and waiting a little while. Use follower command and order follower to use Milker Furniture to trigger level ups. It depends on MME and BAc feature setups.  If standard is ok, then test custom follower.

If you actually have the game but do not know how to mod it....

What mod manager you are using? Most popular are Mod Organizer 2 or Vortex.  What version of the game store you have Steam or GOG? What version of the game currently installed SkyrimLE (old Legendary) or Skyrim SE (Special Edition) 1.5.97 or Skyrim AE (10th Anniversary of SE) 1.6.1170.

Spoiler

If using Vortex and SkyrimAE from Steam.....

In Vortex, you can try the Nexus collection Essential Mods for Skyrim for essential stability.

Add Menu Maid 2 from Nexus, It will patch SkyUI and allow for sorting and renaming of mods config menus.

Add Alternate start mod like Alternate Start - Live Another Life - SSE combined with the add-on Alternate Start - A New Dragonborn Extension; This should put your character in a small room while mods initialize in the background and allow for character creation and some test before the main game quest start.  The add-on allows starting with all the beginner dragonborn powers discovery and first test.

Always start the game using skse64_loader.exe located in the Skyrim folder after installing SKSE64. It will hook into the game engine and allows mods to work with extended set of tolls. Nearly All good mods need it. The mods will not work If you start the game with SkyrimSE.exe or SkyrimLauncher.exe.

Make sure you can play standard Skyrim with the essentials mods listed in the collection before trying mods like BAC. Go to cities kill a dragon and bandits, then try installing BAC and requirement. When asked, do not enable Survival, you can disable it in the Skyrim config menus if already enabled.

You may need to start a new game to make sure BAC quest modification and requirements works properly.

Do not know of a mod good list for Mod Organizer 2, as I do not use that.  Maybe somebody can recommend some very basic mod list with only essential mods, patches, and BAC requirements. You can mimic the one I linked for Vortex collection.

Stay away from mod list with 100+ mods, that hard to troubleshoot without experience modding Skyrim and data edit tools like xEdit to find and patch conflicts.  Stay away from ENB or Community Shaders until what you want to play works properly, those are CPU\GPU processes heavy, and it will be a trade between performance and looks, not counting time lost setting it up.

It works with any follower in the game, any NPC, it just doesn't work with custom characters.

Here is the link to the follower I tried to convert.

seems like your follower packs its own body/race

Spoiler

with BAC, you'll find a pdf file enclosed (BAC_CustomRaceWithCowHeadHowTo.pdf). Follow the instruction in there and modify your follower mod to be compatible with BAC. Then you can set the form IDs for your follower in BAC MCM page "Custom Race" and *then* it will be recognized by BAC.

As Boticelli said, own body, but also own race too. The custom race is called NordRaceEmi and reference custom naked skin assets. It also has a character asset skeleton that may not be compatible with BAC, even after following instructions.

May need (not sure) replacing that skeleton with a copy from **game**\data\meshes\actors\character\character assets female\skeleton_female.nif over mods game**\data\meshes\actors\character\EmiJV\Body\skeleton_female.nif.

If following the PDF instruction does not work, try converting the custom NPC to standard nord race NPC using xEdit or CK.  The head will always need special care because it is built out of multiple meshes bonded into one, for that follow the instructions or disable BAC head morph.  The head used by the mod look like is HPH but is named differently, it could be CoRT version.

Sorry if my English is bad, it's not my native language. But I have some questions. First, should this mod appear in MCM?

Second, my system doesn't start the curse, the NPCs appear, and the mod also appears inside the Simple Item Spawner, but in the game itself it doesn't start anything. All the requirements are working fine. But it still seems like the mod tends not to start.

Vortex uses LOOT for the load order and with that it works fine for me.

yes, if not, you have the wrong ZaZ version installed (see file page, downloads, *do not download ZaZ from their file page*, that is the wrong version). Go to their support forum, 1st (pinned) topic, scroll/search until you find "8.0+" and choose the one matching your body replacer (CBBE or UNP).

I'll send my mod load. Just in case one of the mods I use breaks BAC.
