So now you have the item out of your inventory. Recommend going to Gulum-Ei at that point. He's the most expensive option (you might be able to talk him down to 1/2 price), but he's a sure thing. You'll have to wait 20 hours for him to come through for you. Once you have the verified scented panties, don't drop them and don't put them on. Proceed directly to your friendly Khajiit panty broker who should be FactionRank = 4 for XX015895. You can check with the FactionSpy mod spell, or console "GetFactionRank XX015895" with that character selected. Use FactionSpy to change it, or "SetFactionRank XX015895 4" if it's not. Got it. Will try those steps right now.

Your game would CTD with the ESP that's being worked on right now. The properties are all the same so you should be mostly Ok with the ESP you've been using. A condition or two might be off but we can work around that via the console. As for what's next, I don't remember where you left off between the multiple attempts. Ultimately for that Quest you go Giraud-Khajiit-Panties-Khajiit-Giraud(Optional)-Master Uvani/Urag. Edited March 16, 2024 by Blackbird Wanderer

You then had me execute a console command to pull the book out of my inventory, and were trying to drop a hint of where to go to find the scented panties. Gulum-Ei isn't working for me. Who else can I go to?

Who else can I go to? Taarie, but you have to have done her Quest with the clothes first. Gulum-Ei conditions are pretty basic, but SBCSV has to be at 30 for anybody's dialogue to show. The section with Ma'dran appears broken for you and probably didn't advance the Quest properly, so if you've got the transcript gone, use console "SetStage SBCSV 30" if it's not already there (check with "GetStage SBCSV".

Archon459 Posted March 18, 2024 Posted March 18, 2024 -Took screenshot before using console command; not quest notes, as shown, in journal -Used console command; took screenshot of Journal update at the top of the screen -Additional screenshot, this time with Journal update open; new entry at the top -Went to Gulum-Ei in The Winking Skeever, and there was no dialogue option related to panties. He made a comment about me being in the guild (dark brotherhood, thieves' guild), but that's it. -Talking to Taaarie gave the same result: no dialogue. -When I went to Elisif, I was able to pickpocket all 4 of the panties I pulled off of her. I then got an update in my journal (two screenshots below) -Went to visit Gulum-Ei; no update -Taarie; no update -Visited all three Khajiit caravans; no new dialogue

I don't have an earlier save, so I'm stuck for now. Will it definitely break anything if I end the quest through the console?

Archon459 Posted March 30, 2024 Posted March 30, 2024 Managed to free a few captives from the restraints. After the first few quests to free captives, I got another one where I was not able to free her. This time, for the first time ever in my save, the Subjugation option worked, but after we fast-traveled all of the other dialogue went away. I rebooted from a prior save and was able to Liberate her this time.

I subjugated a captive, got her to let me call her Slut, had her Follow me, and soon as we changed cells (went outside), the scripting broken and all dialogue from your mod no longer shows up when I try talking to this captive. Luckily I noticed it before I saved too many times, so I was able to go backwards to before I subjugated her.

This time I moved outside, checked the script, it was working normally, fast-traveled to whiterun, still working normally. I'm not sure what's breaking it, but it looks like it's not entirely stable. NONE of the other mods I'm running involving adding dialogue to NPCs have any issue running when switching cells or fast-traveling.

It's either your mod, or Genesis, that spawns more enemies than normal. The tower close to Dawnstar spawned a bunch of extra enemies that actually moved away from the tower and raided Dawnstar. They killed a couple of guards and an NPC. Not entirely sure having a tower that close to the town is a good thing.

Pretty sure you've got some intermittent script lag from other mods. The only things SBC adds to those are an occasional bedroll and a brazier, plus the invisible captive placement markers.

Genesis - the tower by Dawnstar is especially bad. it is placed where it "should" be far enough away. had a case where i was doing Waking Nightmare and had not went in behind Erandur yet and saw the tower bandits attacking a mudcrab and they wound up attacking Dawnstar itself. they did eventually go back to their tower after killing a total of 9 residents and guard of Dawnstar. only 4 bandits died in the process so there were a few left.

Newer version coming out hopefully in the next several weeks following some significant updates to the code and functionality (that are taking longer than expected). Should be completely converted to HPH and have all lines voiced by then as well. 6
