im stuck

hey guys i was trying to upgrade devious devices tp 5,1 but ether the download was corrupted or what not sure but when i try to activate it stops halfway though i already deleted all my older devious devices framework anything related to DD but now with new version not working now i dont know how to get game to play again keeps crashing before i get to main menu should i just delete everything and star all over or would that make it worse any help on this would be awespme thanks

Have you considered just uninstalling DD and trying again?

If your problem is that the DD 5.1 is corrupted or incomplete upon downloading, I don't see how deleting your other mods would help here. If anything you would need to download even more mods just to get to square one.

 

Try downloading DD 5.1 again, give it enough time to complete and see if your browser is giving you any problems to download (I think that file is hosted on MEGA, right? so sometimes you need to wait additional time or you need to allow for large files to be saved on your computer).

If you were to remove mods just to continue playing, you'll need to remove the ones requiring DD. And then keep on mind that removing mods on an existing save may not be the best idea if you're not familiar with fallrim tools or resaver to clean your save in case that's needed.

yeah and now i tried all the guides tips no luck so im deleting most of the mods trying to start all over again at least but ive now deleted prob around 100 mods and it still crashes do i have to delete them all?

Depends.

There are multiple reasons why you can crash:

• Skyrim basics aren't correct
  • SKSE/skse.ini
  • Skyrim/pref.ini
  • ENB/ENBoost
  • Crash fixes
  • Mod manager not used correctly (MO basics not configured)
  • UAC
  • Virus scanner
• Skyrim mod installation and LO:
  • wrong overwrites
  • missing patches or patches but no associated mod
  • missing requirements
  • missing or overwritten script extenders
  • conflicting mods
  • bugged mods
  • SE mods that aren't meant for the use with LE
  • experimental mods
  • mods with wrong folder hierarchy installed
  • mod doesn't fit the framework version
  • missing master
  • mod with multiple esp installed while only one of the added esp is needed
  • broken fomod installs wrong files or just everything
• Patch generators:
  • errors in smashed patch
  • bashed patch thinks you played enough
• Animations:
  • wrong skeleton
  • overwritten skeleton
  • FNIS warnings ignored
  • FNIS wrong or no patches ticked
  • follower with standalone skeleton
  • Bodyslide not used (usually that causes only invisible characters)
  • FNIS generator not started at all
  • file output at the wrong place
• Conflicts LO:
  • patches not below the mod that needs to be patched
  • wrong patch
  • Alternative start to high up in LO
  • picky mods if it comes to LO sequence
• Conflicts game start;
  • no alternate start mod installed to prevent intro
  • glitched mod in LO that prevents other mods to register
  • missing soft dependencies

 

The list goes on...

To not walk in the dark here you need to provide more details what your situation is. Not the RL one, but at least:

> Where does Skyrim Crash exactly

> Show a LO

> Optional: show a modlist

> post your FNIS Output

yes i do have LE but forgive me im not sure how to show u mod list but i do get to almost main menu i got rid of horny creatures of syrim to make main menu normal hoping that would help but still no luck ill keep trying

What mod manager are you using?

You can either export LO via your manager or via Fallrimtools, or LOOT, or Wrye Bash or ...

 

MNC SLAL and it's addons need a very specific file overwrites.

If I see horny creatures I can already guess the mess.

When removing mods, you have to be careful about what and how you remove. Removed a mod that, for example, affects animations, it is a good suggestion to restart FNIS and, if necessary, reinstall XPMSE

 

However, without a Load Order and the FNIS report, finding the cause of the CTD seems a bit like Utopia to me.

 

Stupid Tip: Have you cleaned the Masters of duplicates?   TES5Edit  Version 4.0.4 contains the program to clean the Masters

i do run finis after every change at first i was having trouble with DD trying to upload newest version but thats where i screwed up i deleted all mods that related to older versions but no luck messed with that trying to figure what i messed up on then i started getting rid of other mods to try to fix itbut made it worse got rid of saquine debachery and sisterhood of dibella and whorecrux and toys mods
