Female use male animations

So all my followers use female animations and consider as female but for Jordis and Iona use male animations for some odd reason?

Wanted to explain how to change it in XEdit but i can't be sure after trying it before posting, i don't have an example rn..
So maybe just try a mod

What you could:

> search if there is a mod on SE that patches vanilla females to use the correct animations for females (example: feminine females patch)

> or you can use xEdit to change the animation type those NPC use (basically you crate your own patch)

It was intended by the developers.  Iona, Jordis, and Lydia have the Opposite Gender Anims flag set, so they use masculine animations.

The answer depends on the specifics of your question. If, what you are asking is, why do female NPCs often wind up in the "male" position (including using a strap-on) the answer goes back to the "mechanics" of SexLab (SL). SL does not have male and female positions. It runs the animations that it is told to run. What tells SL what animations to run? The answer is the modder who wrote the mod that you are using to have sex. So, using an example that I am intimately familiar with, let's talk (briefly) about my mod Some Consensual Sex (SCS). When I first wrote the mod it was meant to help those who felt (as you evidently do) that the animations too frequently put characters in the "wrong" position. So, when you use the original version of SCS you will find that the player is in the "male" position (even if the player is a female). Then, some people asked me for a version with just the opposite, the player in the "female" position (even if the player is a male) and I wrote a second esp that allows that.

 

So, if you are unhappy with the positions, don't blame yourself, don't blame SL, blame the mods that you use that are calling the sex animations.

You can use a mod like Eager NPCs to force gender and attraction on an NPC. Not sure if it actually "sticks" 100% to Lydia and the others mentioned above, but it's one thing you can try. 

 

SL has a very limited set of lesbian animations, (I think  you can almost count them with your hands) and (I think in part) due to that limit, SL often comes back with a MF or MMF or even sometimes an MM or MMM animation sequence (trios), so it and other apps that use it often misapply gender to participants in an animation, just to make it "go".

That's why I gave all those females some schlong in male positions (strap on replacer). Not sure if that counts as "solution" lol

I use the mod Gukahn posten on LE with ultimate success.

Needs to be low in LO to win conflicts or you will need a Smached patch or xEdit merged patch to make sure it's changes survive all other plugins in LO.

Lucky you.  When I first got SL content, virtually all it ever produced was lesbian scenes. In fact, when I checked, I found that almost all the males were gendered female for some reason (some mod author being "funny" I presume) , and almost every scene (MF, MMF, FF FFF) would be lesbian action.  That particular problem autoresolved during the one of the upgrades (x.73 > x.80 or x.80 > x.97).. And then there was the time that all the creatures were female. And then the time when no matter how many times I reset my female player to "female, prefers males", she'd end up equipped with a calyps dongle, trying to hump some dude. And then there was the period of time where the calyps came in various sizes from pencils to dongles that would make a giant feel inferior.

 

I don't know if it's a random number generator getting stuck, or what, but there is little consistency over time as to how the game wants to pursue delivery of SL related content. It's always hit or miss. and it hits or misses within a small grouping over and over for a while, then shifts to some new pattern, and on... it seems to go through phases where it wants THIS, or THAT, and you have to fight it to get what *you* want. Even when using the forcing functions for animations (Instant arousal spells) 

 

I just end animations that are unexpected and feel as if they're trying to shove someone else's sexual politics down my throat. which is about 1/4 to 1/3 of the time at present.

That's... Really strange. I don't think i do anything particular different then most, probably the choosen mods i guess ? I have not a single mod that calls animations that does not have a gender option somewhere in the mcm (and i started LL when 162 was already old and SE got their last Framework update in a long time. Think a year before the newest updated for SE´s version of it.)

The only thing minor annoying is Spectactor crowd and eager npcs orgy mod when they ignore prefered gender but that doesn't happen that often, (cause i set both to very rare. Still seeing my hetero set Inigo getting it on with Vilkas while a perfectly fuckable Irileth is near by.. Must be a cat x wolf fetish.)

 

Not that i don't have bugs.. Frost giants have this Massive Dicks like your strapon had, when they get into animation it resets to normal but out of them.. Yeah, Dragons feel inferior when they see them??
