Help with installing a mod, that used to be on Nexus (but no more)

Hi guys,

I need help with an old mod - Dresses of Imladris I used on old playthroughs.

In the past I used this mod as a download from Nexus on my old PC. Now I got a new one and have some problems now.
Since the mod got hidden on Nexus, I cant install it anymore with the modmanager.
Alas: I still have the mod as a download on my old computer and copied it to my new one.
Now I want to install the mod - but whatever I do, it wont show up in the modlist.

For your information:
My game is found under windows/programmesx86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Skyrim.
When I extracted the folder of Imladris, I did this into the Data-folder. When I look into the "Imladris-Folder", there is only a texturefolder. Is that right?

Can anyone tell me, how to install the mod -in which correct foldersstructure I should copy the mod, so it would show up as a mod, that I could activate?

Help would be appreciated, cause I love this mod very much....

If you are using a Mod Manager, simply use it to install the mod. Vortex has a Install from File Option on the upper right. Mo2 will have something similar and NMM.. Dunno but should also have something like that.

If you really want to install it manual, unpack the archive and look at the foldernames each files is in. Your Game Files have a Folder with the same name in which they will have to copied. If a folder doesn't exist just make it.

Anyone who is stumped by how to install a mod should not be installing things manually.

Thanx but - first: How do you learn things? You learn them by practicing. Otherwise you just stand still and dont develop...

And second: I managed quite fine to install them manually... so I know what to do the next time...
So I suggest, before you give such an advice, considder, that not everyone is that limited, as you think they are - or as you are.

No, you learn by reading some of the many guides and tutorials on every aspect of modding Skyrim that have been around for years. Otherwise you just reinvent the wheel of making the same mistakes others have made.

For your information: That is one of the "don'ts" - don't install your game (or any game) in the programsx86 folder.

Okay I considered it. People who haven't read anything post in tech support (not General Discussion BTW) on an almost daily basis. You are as limited as I thought because what you have written suggests this. Anyone who has to ask how to install a mod is limited. How am I limited in this context?

If you want assistance then it might help if you said which version of Skyrim you are using.
