You can always make your standalone followers mod in CK, it takes time but it is safest way i think.

i know is indeed bugged but i just load a preset in a downloaded follower and mannualy change her body i can load it frawesly but if i quit the game and open again i have the video result quite sad i think i make it work before but surelly is not working now, and i can't use CK don't ask why

People on Nexus most of the times know less than you to be honest. Unless it is a mod creator, or 'advanced' modder, they will tell you to reinstall everything and CHECK STEAM CACHE (I cannot stand this one) etc.

 

You can try Familiar Faces, it is much older mod than Proteus with much less functionality, but from my experience a bit more stable (still not flawless thou)

 

Or you could try to just replace follower files with your own character files. If your downloaded follower have custom body it should not be a problem.

There is a mod, Botox of Skyrim, replaces bandits to prettier ones, and it's just textures and facegendata/ head meshes only, without esp, and it works. But with this, i am not sure if you wouldn't have to regenerate facegen data in CK, i know there is something like that when you are making your follower, but honestly i used CK only few times, so i am not sure.

replace stuff it work for body but not the face. and familiar faces...i grow alot of white hairs tryng to use it one of my worst experiences in all my mod life i would sujest it to anyone even if i hate then

I and most of the people here wont be able to help you with PP but if you have questions or problems with other mods or modding Skyrim in general then I'd be happy to try to help.

Or if there is something specific that you are trying to achieve with PP maybe someone could come up with an alternative way that doesn't require PP?

you too kind ty i just want to make my nekos followers soo they be together i try ask  mooders  to make then for me but it was a very bad experience that make me very sad

soo i tryng doing it on my own with mods cause i can't make mods myself.. i thouugh this black face bug was very famous soo comon and then easy to fix?

So Neko is a race. As I understand it, you have made Neko presets which you now wish to make into followers? If this is correct then is there any particular reason why you want those actual presets rather than just using Neko followers?

Do you mean you just want your followers to be Nekos? If that is the case then the simplest solution is to download as many Neko followers as you want and use one of the follower framework mods to have then join you.

You've lost me now. If you want your player character to be a Neko then you just install the Neko race mod, start a new game, create a Neko character and off you go. If you wish to have followers with you then you do what I said above.

You cannot have more than one player character in the game. There are some mods which allow you to swap over to another character in game but you do not have full functionality with the second character and you lose control of the original character.

i have 3 characters all with body mesh and textures face preset etc each one with his  own kit and want to turn then into followers with theyr own body texture and appearence

idk how to explain it better in sorry. I think i mannaging to make lazyfollowers work btw

Are you using SE Lazy Followers on LE? Or you are on SE? I also wanted to check it out, but it seems in only for SE. Often this means nothing, suprisingly lot of mods from SE work on LE out of the box.

yep is for se but if you do like @LazyGirl and @thesteve812 struct me you can make it work right...i think. realy recomend check it on her mod page before the mod don't reconize my custom race trough...and i having some neeck seam but i think there something else causing it i tryng stuff right now and i waiting her reply...hope a hug is enough to make her do another bodyfolder. tell how the mod fare with you. sorry for the bad english btw

Most of that is irrelevant to the problem at hand. As for the rest, why didn't you post this originally? Instead of assuming the guy is lazy why not consider that the guy is struggling with a foreign language and or that he is new to modding?

If you had bothered to read, or had the intelligence to understand if you had read his posts, you would see that he has been asking for help for a while and has not been on the receiving end of anything useful that would either solve his problem or point him in the direction of a solution.
