banditjack Posted December 15, 2021 Posted December 15, 2021 Both http://skyrim.jpn.org/ and http://fallout4.jpn.org/ are gonna shutdown sometime this month according to a post from the owner (see attached images). Not sure if anyone noticed or cared, but just in case, here's your chance to peruse them before they're gone.
Guest Posted December 15, 2021 Posted December 15, 2021 Skyrim modding is dead. Bethesda gave the coup de grace with the release of AE. Even if everything is updated, only cabbage farmers will be left. Todd finally managed to turn the game into a farmer simulator, which is what he wanted in the first place.
Grey Cloud Posted December 15, 2021 Posted December 15, 2021 Oh, melodrama! We haven't had any for a week or two.

By my calculations we will get the next one near the end of the week ? it will either be skyrim modding is dead again or I can't read instructions/Be patient and it's Todds fault

Skyrim drama is always about takedowns, deletions, and "mod theft". Always.

Why would the release of Skyrim Anniversary Edition affect the mod scene for Skyrim LE? For that matter, why would not the mod tools for reverting to a previous version of an executable or updated Address Libraries not prevent any such supposed death?
Guest Posted December 22, 2021 Posted December 22, 2021 Not understanding the drama either. If you like to play SE just downgrade. Worked for me and no one should have problems with the mods available. Am i wrong? At the moment i play LE because of some mods. But i am sure i could also play it on SE. Either way is fine. And i not thinking the mod scene will die because AE came into the picture. Highly unlikely.

The death I'm talking about is for content. There is no new content to download, only assets. Old content is fine, but people saying the scene is "alive" is far stretching, in my view.
