Classical Radio Replacer for Clubs/Strip Clubs

 

Lately, i've been building a club/strip club but there was something missing. Appropriate music, of course.

And thus, i began fiddling with Radio mods and the like but there was just one problem. I couldn't get them (the actual radio furniture) to be louder.

In the end, i simply replaced all the Classical Radio files with my own (all 29 of them) and downloaded a mod for Radios to be louder. So, i figured i'd share it here for anyone interested.

 

Instructions:

 

1. Install with Vortex/MO2
2. ????
3. Profit
4. [OPTIONAL] If you destroyed the Institute, the Classical Radio will go YEEEEET. It can be restarted using the following console command: StartQuest RadioInstituteQuest

Settlements Objects Expanded (For the speakers, IIRC)

Slaver Camp, Brothel, Strip Club (Egret Tours Marina) [Make sure its plugin loads after anything that might alter ETM or world space in/around it]

Mini/Simple tutorial on how to make your own

 

1º Use converter to turn mp3 into xwm

2º Rename xwm replacer files like the original vanilla files as shown below

3º Place files into folder structure as shown below

4º Pack up main folder into a zip archive

Thanks for this mod Saya Scarlett, it's a cool idea and I like the songs that I've heard so far.  I'm going to be using it along with Stripper Poles and Reginald's Prefab Shackfest cage shack to give each settlement a "gogo dancer".

 

When I first got to the Red Rocket on a new play through after installing it, I couldn't figure out why I was hearing old timey songs intermixed with the ones from your replacement.  It made absolutely no sense, and for a few weeks I kept telling myself, Oh I'll troubleshoot that later.  Today I realized I have More Where That Came From - Diamond City Radio Edition - Classical installed.  What this add-on does is take all the songs from Galaxy News Radio mod in Fallout 3 plus a bunch more and sticks them in the Classical station!  And so now I'm bonking myself for not thinking of that sooner.  And it also gave me an idea.  There's 111 tracks that aren't the "classical" music (Which yours already overwrites as it has higher priority), and I have MultiXMW, so I'm going to use Audacity to record Wav files of explicit songs off of internet radio stations and rename them so that this esp file will play them interspersed with the ones you've uploaded.

 

Now that I've given myself another project I probably can't share with anyone because of copyright, I thought I'd share the idea in case someone else wanted to try it for themselves.

I recently downloaded this for my game, and I dearly love it, and reading the above post about adding even more songs made me realize I can fix my one and only issue I have in the fact that you used censored versions of some of the songs. I have seen things like this in the past but had never downloaded them cause they weren't what I wanted and never had the urge to make my own, but you have given me an excellent base to start from, so thank you very much for that, and I look forward to more great mods from you in the future

I am presently working on and will soon publish the newest ititation on my, Bikers' Sanctuary/stripper bar/brothel.

 

I have been using Fallout Music replacer on the same staion, the prob with that is if the track you chose is longer than the one it's replacing... it gets cut short. Little frustratin hearing the same 4 songs (?) of the 29 and 3 are cut short.

 

In other words, Thank you for this and yes, I def look forward to diy / tutorials.

- 'seductive, romantic, sexy'

 

the above 2 descriptions in color are referring to two completely DIFFERENT things  and the most NOT-SEXY thing in the world is a pile of punkass living in parents basements heavy metal bangers making a bunch of dumb in your face noise blasts. appreciate your hard work otherwise... but like heh? watch some romantic movies and listen to t he music

Nice, thank you! I love having more different music and that fits with my current gameplay.
If I can make an unassuming suggestion there is certain music from 70s that maybe is more... "immersive" ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Could try make an alternative version. This one is supposed to be all modern music, since it reflects a lot better a strip club, slavery and all that.

70's music tends to be more...... 'mellow', i guess? More softcore-like, which might not reflect that sense of slavery and abuse that well. Hence the songs from bands like Nine Inch Nails, Halestorm, In This Moment and the like.

Of course there's other songs like Britney Spears or K/DA that don't reflect that theme all too well but i had to fill up the tracklist with something 'similar' ?

Definitely linked in The Fucking Manual, for sure. H&HW replaces billboards, paintings, etc.

This is not a help req. persey, but a question about the lighting (have, use and love this mod BTW) where do I find lighting mods like this? My searches have come (knioda) close but not a "real nightclub" feel like in your video.

Anyone know of conflicts with this? I don't know what I did, but the radio is silent. I have reinstalled the mod, but nothing seems to work. Had this working for many hours, but now nothing.
