I need help with installing the zaz animation pack. i follow the directions given by the creator for installing the zaz animation pack. the directions say to activate the zaz animation pack esm file with nexus mod manager and i do that but when i try the nexus mm says that it cant be added and downloading is incomplete. is there any way to fix this or get around this? any help would be much appreciated.

Try manual install then. Simply copy zaz file, paste all of it in the data folder, start skyrim normally without skse, then go to data files and activate it.

I'm not really any kind of evangelist, but I'm always pimping Mod Organizer (MO) (in my sig) simply because it's better.

The problem with nmm that you're having may arise from overwrite order. With MO there is no overwriting of files. Since it injects mods into the game at load time, you can change the load order by drag and drop in the interface. You don't necessarily have to redownload everything either, altho you may have to 'reinstall' mods.

You might give it a try.

I'm not sayin, I'm just sayin.

I use it but found that I cannot get any script to compile in the CK. Finally had to drag out an old laptop to load it up w/o MO so I can get back to making changes to my mod again. BTW thanks for recommending it anyway, it is THE right way to do this.

I seem to have a problem with the animation pack, but it's probably my fault lol (read: most definitely my fault-very new to modding)

When I use the FNIS generator it comes up with the following message:

ERROR(2011): Wrong line in Animation List. Line  262 (..\..\meshes\actors\character\animations\ZaZAnimationPack\FNIS_ZaZAnimationPack_List.txt):  fu ZazWoodenHorse01 ZazAPCAO024.hkx ZazAPCAO024.hkx ZazFurnitureExit.hkx

I am also having issues with the Prison Overhaul which I suspect may be related?  After being arrested and led to the jail the progress stops when arriving at the jailer...nothing happens....no strip scene, nothing after being led to the jailer.  I downloaded all of the files for the animation pack....was this correct?  Or should I have only downloaded one or some of them?

You need to upgrade to FNIS beta v4

There was indeed a part of FNIS not enabled, but I've got that sorted out, but it still does the same thing :/

a lot of mods I dl with LoversLab won't unzip themselves in NMM, or the manager says "this file can't be added", I got around this issue by unzipping the file and rezipping it, overwriting the old one, and then NMM had no problems....I am using the most recent version of NMM(.53.2).

Hi, I downloaded zaz with no issues. It was working fine. Then I save my game and close it, I come back later to play some more and it starts telling me the current version is out of date and I need to update to the 602 version. I looked around found a German one but it still says it. Now my game won't even load. It gets to the screen after you continue where it's loading but it closes after that.

The mod that is needing the update is Devious Devices. I love both mods. I've uninstalled and reinstalled both zaz and death.

Any help would be wonderful!
