Is from vanilla game script. Having over 7k warning messages from the vanilla game itself, is a bad sign. Something's likely very F'd up. So maybe this is indeed your problem. Might try steam integrity check, plus look into if your mod manager has lost it's mind.

aside from upgrading SLAVE ( a few minutes ago) the only other new mod is Bad dogs armor replacer for TWWOA.

Hi, i'm stuck at the "Find Nightly" part. I've taken Millonce into Nightlys lair but i can't get the quest to advance. "Waiting for Millonce" pops up every now and again but there's no dialogue to advance, both of  them just follow me around.

Sounds like the player is stuck in an odd busy state, like the game maybe thinks you are in combat.

No luck either way. What is the quest ID? maybe i can use CCs to get past it.

Our mods have more going on than just quest stage advancing, thus using console commands easily makes things worse.

 

- Maybe trying again from an earlier save than the one you tried

- Maybe another mod is blocking dialogue. ORomance is known to do this, I don't know of others

- Maybe your save is corrupt from breaking the Golden Rule or from not starting a new game when first adding Toys&Love. If this is the case you'd be starting a new game to fix

 

I'm reaching for things like these since nobody else has had this problem. I have no other ideas.

This isn't much of a show stopper as he can be eventually found, but it does seem odd that a place object would not be in its expected location.  I am just mentioning this as the FAQ only assumes two possibilities, neither of which applicable.  I have noticed that Loot does place Toy Story quite low in the load order (164 out 462 for me, but SSEdit doesn't show any major conflicts -- just Immersive College of Winterhold. I moved it to the lowest possible point in the order so it won all conflicts, but no luck).  Also the 2 Toys tests worked as expected as well.

One thing that is slightly strange about this mod is that it activates while the character is still in the Abandoned Prison cell. I cannot think of another mods I have installed that starts while the character is still in the Abandoned Prison. 

 

On a separate note, even with the beer bear tanking, Darkfall Cave and the Forgotten Vale are difficult for low level characters -- especially when the two dragons spawn or when using Skyrim Immersive Creatures and running into Chaurus Hunters.  But now that I know, I probably won't even try to start the quest until character level 20 or so -- just too many tough encounters.

In any other rare case of someone reporting it, the problem was solved by starting a new game. A real new game, pressing the new button, no early save. They had a corrupt save.

 

Since its not a show stopper for you, I'd suggest we don't bother trying to solve it.

I think that is exactly what is going on.  Bodies (unlike other containers) are dropped into the game from above (I have seen this in both mods I created for FNV and some fooling around I did with making some LE mods).  My guess is the body is dropping onto something and Havok is taking over and flinging the body around.  My guess is if you tied the quest item to a container (like a chest) this wouldn't happen.  It is probably due to some interaction with another mod having an object in the same place or modifying that piece of Skyrim in someway. 

 

It being fixed by starting a new game is more likely that load order was changed or different mods being used.  I was able to reproduce it 4 times by starting "a real new game" as you put it with a slightly different assemblage of mods each time.

The way the marker and body move around seem to be entirely consistent with Havok behavior -- like when we see mammoths flying through the air after they are dropped into the game. 

 

It could also be one of the new utility mods that allows the frame rate to increase.  I noticed that my frame rate goes above 60 fps quite often, but I don't remember exactly which mod does that as it wasn't a conscious decision on my part.  I have also noticed that AE 640 processes scripts much faster than previous versions which I remember some discussions about that having an unintended effect on some mods.

Ah, that would be it. I'm running VR.

Ah well - maybe I can tweak a legendary edition download to work in VorpX; I've gotten really spoiled by VR's immersion lol

Or maybe someone's got a patch that will fix the VR problem (doubt it).

Hi ive been having issues with the anal pony and bellchain plugs.  They render in game, but appear at ankle height.  Additionally they do not appear in bodyslide or CalienteTools\BodySlide\SliderSets and ShapeData folders as .odp and .osp files.  When I load the files themselves individually into outfit studio they appear as expected.  Is there somewhere I can obtain the bodyslide files, or am I going to have to make them myself?  I have no issues with any of the other models.

Your problem is not bodyslide. Almost half of toys come without bodyslide as they don't need it due to position of body.

 

Your problem is missing or wrong version of a supporting body related mod. Likely HDT-SMP. Check your body mod requirements, and this... SE versus AE Version Trap.

Ok thank you I thought I had everything aligned, but I guess not.  Ill look into it. 

you were right.  I had the 1.6.353 version installed and the 1.6.353 patch, instead of the 1.6.4 version with the 1.6.353 patch. thanks again

I've been having issues on the first quest, with the quest target marker teleporting away from me.  I thought this was normal , but I read that it's not and that someone else was having a similar problem.  But I couldn't find out how the person who had a similar problem fixed it.  They reported they reached the corpse somehow, I  have not managed to do that.

 

Versions: Toy Story SE 2.35, Toys Framework SE 2.62, Latest Steam SSE version.

 

By activating TCL via the console, I am able to reach the corpse of a man, but I can't interact with it normally.  I can select the corpse with the console, and showinventory shows a list which I assume is his inventory.  It shows  him as wearing a curio anal plug amongst other things (a  belt, wrist cuffs, collar, expert robes of illusion, college boots).  I got this idea from the poster that previously had a similar issue.

 

Turning off TCL makes the body disappear, I've had no success interacting with it.

 

I am using a fresh start with "Live another life",  aka LAL, starting from LAL "owned lakeview manor".  The mod works well enough that the self test of the love scene seems to function fine.

 

This go-around I've removed as many other mods as I can, so it's pretty much just Toy story and it's requirements, except for a few beautification mods, and some hunting and fishing mods that Steam seems to want to add.   I'm using a CBBE 3BA body with CBPC physics.  To get Schlongs of Skyrim to work, I removed the .dll added a papyrus mod to replace it, SOS Papyrus Util version Beta 4 from Erstam.  I had similar issues with a previous attempt with a longer mod list.

 

I'm willing to provide other information that might help figure out the issue.  I'd include my load order, except I'm not sure how to generate an automatic copy of it, and I'd be likely to make errors trying to type it in manually.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

This is all that is known on the topic... Can't find Scholar - No Map Marker / Marker up in the sky

If there's another cause, or a mod conflict, none has become known.

I started experimenting with eliminating mods, even ones that couldn't reasonably be the problem, and  had success!.  Eliminating Schlongs of Skyrim from my mods stopped the disappearing bug.  Oddly enough, removing just the SOS Papyrus Util Beta 4 that I was using to get SOS to work without the .dll did NOT eliminate the bug, I  had to remove SOS entirely.  I'm going to try and find SOS Lite to see if that works.  Meanwhile, I'd add "Try disabling Schlongs of Skyrim with a fresh start" to your FAQ for people with this bug.  Also, a pointer to a known working-with-Toys version of SOS and/or SOS Lite would be helpful.

You will find that SOS Lite DOES work.

Hey there, ive been having a blast with the mod and big thanks for making this amazing mod.

However i ran into a big issue.

Im crashing when i reach the last segment of the forgotten vale where i have the find the wayshrine to proceed the quest.

I have a new game, clean save and all requirements.

I googled abit and it turns out some people had general crashes with the vale but i cant confirm this to be the case for me. (in some rare instances it was related to racemenu)

Are there any known bug's or crashes in relation to this spot and or wayshrines? 

Very strange however since all the other wayshrines worked normally.

Managed to fix it! yay!.

It was curio's waterbreather gag that was the problem.

After finding the new toy, equiped the new one re-entered the zone, then went up with tcl.

Now game doesnt crash.

Maybe a bodyslide error?

Never heard of vale or gag issues before.

The gag does not get built in bodyslide, thus it's not bodyslide related.

The gag is unique however, in that it's animated.

I'd expect it to be your SMP-HDT mod being missing, wrong version, something along those lines, or SOS... both in here... SE versus AE Version Trap
