tov01 Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 I would love to see this mod further developed. If I had time or any modding skills, I would offer to help, but alas, I have neither.
Guest Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 Really impressive work here. Kudos. Everything in the mod itself is working flawlessly for me, only hiccup I've found is after saving and reloading my main characters save file the mesh for her sons head is missing. I wouldn't be surprised if this isn't even the mod itself having a problem. Maybe because I have xvision children installed? Shrug, either way thank you for your work on this.
Guest SexualAardvark Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 I have xvision children and while the kid I popped out isn't missing a head, she randomly has a weird neck seam and ... yeah, it's weird. I have successfully made my first UNP BBPreg armor, albeit through trial and error, so I haven't gotten a really good grasp on everything that could go wrong. I'm going to convert some of my favorites for personal use. If anyone else wants specific UNP/UNP BBP armors converted, let me know.
Seiji-Chan Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 So are there no armor/clothing mods that support showing the pregnancy body changes? I'm using the Bodyslider weight setting for pregnancy and when I max out weight I think I'm just seeing Vanilla weight change when clothes are on, but then a big ol' belly when clothes are off. Does the skeleton pregnancy visual type work better for armor? Or even worse? And also, how would this work with a custom race that uses its own dds and nif files? Would skeleton mode change the body? Because the weight slider doesn't even seem to change custom race bodies for me.
Guest SexualAardvark Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 There are no released armors which support showing the pregnancy body changes, no. Right now I've got a working one for myself, on 0 weight; I'm editing the 1 weight so I can post it up. This is taking me extra long since the original armor was designed for UNP vanilla; any future armors I'm converting (for the foreseeable future) will be UNPB to begin with.
Seiji-Chan Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 Alright, thanks for the info. I think I'm using CBBE with the Bodyslider++ tool to make my min and max weight. That wouldn't work with UNPB clothes, would it?
Guest SexualAardvark Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 I don't really know how body slide works, tbh. Sorry.
Seiji-Chan Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 I haven't tried it myself, but I think Bodyslider++ even includes sliders for specific armors. So you can set what each armor looks like at min and max weight. I'm thinking you can make armors look pregnant this way, but I haven't tried yet.
Guest SexualAardvark Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 That'd only be true if someone's previously made an armor with sliders at belly, I think.
Seiji-Chan Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 Would they work for these then? http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/12273 Under the Bodyslider++ page: "CB++ Caliente Vanilla OutfitsCB++ support for Caliente's Vanilla Outfits (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/12273), and some retexture mods based upon it. Requires original Caliente Vanilla Outfits to be installed!"
Guest SexualAardvark Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 If they have sliders at the belly, yes, you can use them to make armor that looks like you're pregnant while wearing it. Though it wouldn't match up with your pregnancy as that progresses.
Seiji-Chan Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 Are you sure? Because Bodyslider++ doesn't work as a simple mesh creator. It lets you set the min weight look and the max weight look, so at min weight, the armor would look not pregnant, and at max weight the armor would look fully pregnant (with middle stages being a gradual change from min to max). Like I said, I haven't tried it yet (haven't even done a pregnancy yet), but it seems like it should work in theory.
Guest SexualAardvark Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 I suppose if you're doing the weight method rather than the skeleton method, that would work, yes. Forgot that was an option.
Seiji-Chan Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 It would probably be annoying to do it with each armor, and who knows how the effect would look on certain things, but it may be easier than the alternatives...

Guest SexualAardvark Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 http://www.loverslab.com/topic/18466-pregnant-armor-meshes-unpbbbpreg/ Spent three days not playing and just trying to figure this out, so I doubt I'll do another one tomorrow. But the good news is that I can do other conversions much, much faster. =)
Balboa2151 Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 Hey all.......I've been reading through the several pages of comments........seems progress is being made.....thanks for all the hard work. While I have no knowledge of how to mod and how hard to must be......I came across an article the other day about new Vegas having a pregnancy mod that allows npc's to get pregnant......my question is.....how hard would it be to have npc's get pregnant in skyrim and will we ever have that option when this mod is finished? Keep up the great work.....thanks
Trixy Posted June 23, 2013 Author Posted June 23, 2013 I understand people want NPC pregnancies to be a feature, and I'd very much like it to be implemented. A lot of people are giving me ideas about how to implement it, which I appreciate, but it's not really the main issue. The issue is that implementing NPC pregnancies in a way that wouldn't totally kill performance would require either a complete rewrite of the mod or a separate mod. In either case, it would require a lot of work. I don't really have the time nor desire to put in the kind of effort that would be needed to create this right now. Perhaps I will in the future. And thanks to all the people who complimented the mod, I appreciate it
tov01 Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 Do you think someone could eventually (emphasis on eventually, I know it will be a while) make a pregnant compatable version of this armor: skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=7305 (They are just the normal outfits retailored for the UNP bodymesh) You might be able to get away with skipping most armor to save time, because seriously, heavily pregnant women probably shouldn't be fighting, anyway.

And thanks to all the people who complimented the mod, I appreciate it If you have NPC pregnancy, you would definitely need to give them some sort of birth control (especially for npc/npc interactions), or you'll inevitably have a population boom on your hands; and unless you do something much more interesting with the children born with this mod, a population boom might not be so fun once the initial novelty wears off.
Guest SexualAardvark Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 My general stance is going to be that if the armor is actual full body armor, I'm (not always, but generally) going to skip over it. My character is switching from her mithril full plate to the depicted robe during her pregnancy. =) I actually use the same pack, but I use meshes from another pack (just not textures) to get UNPB compatibility. I'll be using said other pack as a base. So yeah, I can work on it slowly. Have any one in particular you'd really like done first?

Beyond that, I'm not all that picky. Whatever looks the most like it could be maternatiy wear you you, I guess.
Guest SexualAardvark Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 I'll (probably) start with the ever-popular tavern clothes, jarl's clothes and the mage robes once I get all of my personal preferences done. (Which shouldn't take long.)
