Y2Ryoko Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 I'm not sure if some of those were included in the Mega-Mod or not, but I do know what the latest update to said mod is a whopping 1.4gb. Mega-Mod is essentually a 100% full adult conversion of VTMB that uses Tessera's "True" Patch, which is another 450mb, but can be easily found around VTMB sites, including Tessera's own. According to Tessera, he took the Mega-Mod down from his site as "punishment" to the community because a user named mouser9169 posted it on the Camarilla Edition forum. Those links are currently dead, and that seems to be where the trail goes cold.

Tess did a fantastic job at deleting his mod off the entire internet. Usually when something like this happens, someone else can just upload the thing to mediafire, but not this time unfortunately.

That's not required any longer. Just that you register with the forum, which is normal, as even LL restricts content unless you're registered and logged in.

Bringing up old threads is annoying, I know, but If anyone had downloaded the mod before Teresa took it down again, could you upload it somewhere for me to download? They literally put the mod down 5 days again. Such bad luck.

What's not so fine is the claim that he doesn't know of another way to keep the mod available. There are plenty of free file hosting sites, even if the mod has to be broken into parts. Or a torrent, which would take all the load from his server. Honestly, I feel like it's basically him begging for donations, due top the way his post about pulling the mod down was written. I think he needs to feel wanted, and by denying gamers his mod, he's projecting his need to feel desired on them for a self-esteem boost, and perhaps may even see this a kind of vengeance against the world for mistreating him. Something deep in his psychology like that.

As has been stated earlier in the thread there are multiple options that could be used. As for it being gone for good, if there really were that many downloads of it I have no doubt that at least one person who downloaded it would be willing to upload it to one of the alternates if Tess isn't willing to do it. If it doesn't show up somewhere, then to me it looks a lot more like there was a desire for interest in the mod, and taking it down was a way to get it.

The download links you mention seem to be for Tessera's "True Patch," a set of bugfixes that I think is separate from his MegaMod of smutty content.
