Just wondering if someone could help me fix my Skyrim CTD by posting my Mod List here... Skyrim LE just crashes completely to Desktop Anytime i just run around to certain Places\Directions, and it's just random, it's not even towns specifically, although towns like Whiterun get even More CTDs, my Character creation is smooth and nothing bothers me there.

If someone can find what's the problem, and a solution, i would really appreciate it!

It's generally best to ensure the game works properly before loading it down with mods.

Yeah, i know how to mod the game, the game worked correctly before i ever loaded mods, and yeah, my mod manager is Vortex, and i overall know how to use that too thanks... The thing is, I'm not a Modder, so i don't know how all the complications work, so i can't just go create a patch for all my stuff thank you.

 

And thanks for the links, I'll try and see if i can fix this...

Check out this guide and make all the necessary tweaks to your modlist, it is made for use with MO but you could watch the videos embedded they cover vortex. Let me know if it helps or if you need more help.

Sounds like a memory problem, if you don't have a SKSE.ini you might found your problem already.

Create at least a SKSE.ini and see if that helps. You find one in my blog (if you're as lazy as me).

If you tried it together with safetyload I wouldn't be surprised.

Crash fixes can't fix a broken game, it's one part that helps you on your way to a stable base setup and will fix the 65k savegame string limit if you don't use crash fixes to allocate memory.

SKSE,ini changes memory block size and helps to make the game more stable that way.

Crash fixes can allocate memory but also fixes other things as seen on the crash fix page.

The bigger you LO grows the more memory it will need.

That's where ENBoost comes into play to also control VRAM and give you more memory that way.

Of course you need to check settings to not mix up all the provided functions and cause crashes that way.

Mod conflicts and pairs was next on my list but winter came early. It is a tough task to keep the guide useful at the same time easy and simple.

After a few days of non CTD play, consider adding SOLVED tag. Godspeed!

If it starts crashing again, disable Diamond Skin CBBE, that's what was causing my CTDs. I went through all of my mods bit by bit this morning to find the culprit and it turned out to be that skin mod. I'm just here now because I decided to google a fix for it so I can use it again, but so far I haven't found anything.

If you are using the uncompressed 4K version and your LE game is not configured properly then that is what will cause the CTDs not the textures or the mod itself.
