I can honestly say that when I set out to be a photographer I would never have thought about potentially being in the position to photoshop buttholes!!!

Epyon# Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 lol, you can always take what is in the unp or cbbe files and use that then copy and place into yoru real female files. It just looks weird. Just used to using unp. With the talk going on about womans genitals i figured the anus wouldn't be such a taboo lol. Maybe if the word was used in a different context it wouldn't sound so bad or weird.

I honestly thought I was the only one attempting it. I've been doing scars and other features too, so I don't mind trading info and tips. Right now my main issue is that my texture is on Dimon's base, which has terrible seam issues. I may cheat a bit and reference how you're doing your seams to fix my own.

Endy Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 Well got around to test this on CotS, does not work well, especially with the flat chest version since the textures have heavy shadows under the boobs. Have to say a big, big shame. This looked extremely good. Will you make a CBBE version ?

I keep pretty constant tabs on his nexus mod page. There it outlines very specifically what he plans to have done with each release and also answers question like when there will be a CBBE version as well.

I will blend the seams on the 3d model itself. Once we hit beta you can use the texture to create your own scar textures. Face textures are - in my not so humble opinion - one of the things most video game artists do very poorly. It is an irritation to me how fake most faces in video game appear. It's almost as if we strive and strive for perfect realism in all visual aspects of our video games except when it comes to the face texture. Lately (since Oblivion really) developers have focused a lot on the head shape but the skin texture still falls far behind. This isn't true for movies though. Movies have pushed for better and better and more realistic textures so that they can create amazing digital characters, Terminator IV, Tron II and The Hulk are good examples of digital textures that push for realism. Yet in video games we still have these shitty monotone barbi-doll textures that only resemble flesh in their color. There is no way that any decent semblance of realism can be achieved without 4k face textures. Yes, I can produce decent 2k textures but the difference between the face at 4k vs. 2k is even more noticeable than the difference between 2k and 4k body textures. That said, since most game developers (pro or hobbyist) don't put enough detail in their textures for it to matter, 2k textures work for them. Personally, I use the 4k dxt1 face and the 2k dxt1 body because I don't masturbate to my Skyrim characters and I find that it gives me the perfect balance of realism and speed. The more I type about this, the more convinced I become that I need to create realistic male textures as well... I'd love to have a badass orc that actually looks badass for a change! Think of all the fun you could have with scars on a realistic badass orc body. Damn! CoTS is children of the sky if I am not mistaken and yes my anus is also missing on 7b bombshell, still the best texture available for females no matter what. It is highly unlikely that I will make this available to a lot of different bodies. However, there is a good chance somebody else will convert this texture to other bodies. I will make psd files available and release real girls under creative commons licensing once we hit beta. Think of real girls as a resource file for other modders first and a mod unto itself second. Now I'm going to say something strange... She has an anus but I will enlarge it so that you can see it better. But she will not have a gaping anus while standing. As with real buttholes, it will not really seen most of the time. Yeah.... I believe the author has stated that once he has finished up things he will be releasing the photoshop files under a creative licencing agreement that would allow users to tweak the textures any way they wish. Add tattoos here, add some scarring there, remove the shadows under the breasts to make the texture compatible with flat-chested women. Besides you can always modify the files of a mod for personal taste as long as you don't go doing something stupid like posting your changes without the authorization of the modder.

Yes, and I'll be posting the PSD files with layers for various things such as scars and hairs so that anybody can edit the texture in whatever combination they want.
