Sexlab Defeat Baka Edition LE/SE

I'm having issues with animations not working, such as the surrender and transition animations between SL scenes. The SL scenes work themselves, but it looks janky with my character using the vanilla idle animation between scenes. Is anyone else having this issue?

A couple pages back someone posted an issue that I'm seeing. Still in the process of setting things up on a fresh install, so all tests are running on a clean save using Alternate Start, choosing camping option, then proceed to test xyz. Running Skyrim AE, v1130. Creature animations are installed and working (SL Aroused Creatures initiates animations successfully). But if I try surrendering, a message states that "You can't surrender to this enemy." If I let a creature defeat my character, she goes into bleedout, staggers, enemies cease combat for a moment (i.i. wolves stop and do a howl), then my character immediately gets back up and enemies attack again. Any ideas?

Tried this, doesn't seem to be working. PC still just gets back up and combat begins again...

Everything works with Pandora BUT this mod. I'm having the same issue. It just says "you cannot surrender to this creature," "you and the X couldn't make it work," or it freezes my character in place permanently.

I've got a problem to use this mod together with "Pama deadly furniture". Does anyone have this problem, too? Always CTD with deadly furniture 2.60... 2.40 works fine... Thx šŸ™‚

(I'd like to add that I'm VERY new to skyrim modding, like I just started modding less than half a year ago...)

Hello, I was wondering if anyone would have some insight to my problem, even if it's "lol that can't be fixed, idiot."

Just to preface I'm using both FNIS and Nemesis, I'm aware this causes lot of issues with skeletons being overwritten. I've given up entirely on fixing draugr, my PC's animations work but draugr stand there in their idle animations. Falmer DO work, all baka animations and normal sex animations included. The issue I'm now trouble shooting is that Giants ~sorta~ work. The Baka defeat victim scenario against my PC plays out like normal, struggle animations, and grapple animations all work fine, but the moment it try's to go to the actual sex scene stage the game CTD's. I already went ahead and tried to see if it mod conflict but nothing conclusive came up. From what very, very, very little I know about skyrim modding I think it's related to the game struggling with the giant's skeleton? But I'm unsure why the grapple/hold down animations work but not the sex animations. For the time being I have draugr and Giants disabled due to their broken animations.

TLDR~

- Draugr: Stand in idle animation (gave up on them, not into necro anyway so whatever.)

- Falmer: Work

- Giants: Scene starts and plays out like normal, but CTD's at start of sex scene after failed struggle mini-game.

12/23/2024 ~

- Fixed Giants by making sure they use the XP32 Maximum Skeleton instead of the sexlab skeletons I have installed for creatures.

Hi folks,Ā 

I'm having trouble with my animations whenever my character is defeated in a fight but I still have companions up and fighting. Its like it wants to transition to the next scene but can't. After my companions have saved the day, I'm stuck with a player character that is either on her side on the ground, or who is upright but can't sheath her weapon, attack, talk to anyone.Ā  I've tried interacting with furniture to see if that resets the broken player animations and it tries... and fails.Ā 

I've also tried /enableplayercontrols and this also has no positive effect.Ā 

I remember a similar problem with the original Defeat mod but I can't remember how to cure it, other than going to an earlier saved that was before the combat. Does anyone know if there's a setting configuration to prevent this bug?Ā

Make sure you don't have the "all down" option enabled for followers and allies, as well as turn off combat, or on hit interrupt sexlab scene in the defeat settings. If you're stuck on the ground or in place after a failed defeat/finished scene go into first person and then jump to regain control. This is what worked for me, I hope it works for your as well.

Out of curiosity, with DAYMOYL basically dead, is there any thought to link this into Acheron for post events like it was with DA? Would be nice to look at other outcomes besides Rescue, Left for Dead, or SS.

For some odd reason I'm unable to access to enable and disable aspect of the mod, everything else works as far as I can tell, but the creature races isn't allowing me access, and I was originally gonna check to see if it was blank for both like before, but now I can't access it...

When I press 0 to select animations from list the game pauses but there is no UI to select anything. Did anyone have this problem?

In case anyone has the issue where they can't get back off the ground even via going into first person view (using Improved Camera, or other first person altering mods might make it not work) you can open your inventory remove EVERYTHING equipped, then select yourself in the console and type /recycleactor. That will FORCE the game to stop any and all animations you are doing/stuck in regardless of the mod, but it does have the downside that it will delete all items you have equipped, hence why you remove all your gear first.

For anyone having the issue the solution is:


DisableĀ UIExtensions
Load your save
Wait a bit, make a new save and exit
EnableĀ UIExtensions
Load the new save
Rebuild Defeat and wait a bit

I think this happened because for some reason Defeat wasn't usingĀ UIExtensions properly

In the MCM it talks about a compatibility with a death alternative mod? Which Death alternative works with this defeat? Is it the same one for SD (your money or your life)?

EDIT: I tried Your money or your life and Baka Defeat isnt recognizing it

I fear @factorycloseĀ wont update this mod anymore, as it works quite fine, but id like to request a patch where you can offer the PC as prostitute while "player as victim" as is now you can only sell yourself if you have "player aggressor" enabled, that is quite weird, prostitutes are supposed to be victims not aggresor, so i would like a change so you dont need to be "aggresor" to sell your body in cities.

Having an issue where when the player character is wounded and should transition to the bleedout pose/animation, it cuts out and has the player characters instead standing in place

The issue with this is that doing the struggle to get back up (Left and right trigger on the controller) it also makes the player character attack. This is new to me as back then defeat didn't have this kind of issue before (A few years back anyways). So I dunno what to do. I thought maybe the bleedout animation was missing or maybe something else, but I don't really have a way to check

A few bugs I've experienced in a day of installing it (my game is AE):

  • Sometimes when I hit an enemy in the bleedout state, suddenly I get downed even if I have full health. As if I got hit instead of the enemy. This is extremely game breaking.
  • Camera breaks left and right. Zaz is responsible for half of them but the rest is caused by SL defeat. After getting up from the ground after the trauma state, your character doesn't regain controls. Sometimes the camera gets stuck in third person. The worst instances happen when you're the aggressor. Sometimes your game is just broken and you can't regain controls. Tho I understand this is a very common problem of Skyrim and sexlab as a whole. And before anyone says that I'm actually supposed to disable disable teleport on star, I have tried it with both teleport enabled and disabled and surprisingly camera issues happen less often when teleport is disabled.
  • When I put someone in a bag, my maximum carry weight reduces by a lot and it doesn't come back. No spell effect is visible in the active effects menu either.
  • Pressing the aggressor hotkey with sheathed weapons that is apparently supposed to take enemies down, does nothing.
  • When bandits steal potions from you, they drink them all lmfao.

Very game breaking for me. I'll have to disable the mod.
