If you haven't found this

Thanks!

Will report back in a day or so after I check to see if/where/how much improvement I get.

Considering the Rig I run the game on, I may not get much of anything, but then again - it might be magic!  :)

The Smooth Patch by Amazing Duchess

Tried it and in my game CAS opens much faster. Great !

Want to add, the patch did not work on a older 32 bit system (WIN XP)

If you haven't found this already, head over to Mod the Sims and download this!

It is The Smooth Patch by Amazing Duchess and significantly improves the speed and play-ability of the game.

Works absolutely great for me!

My game runs way smoother and the CAS/Build/Buy modes are opening and loading faster❤️

Greetings . I tried to use the patch and the game went crazy, animations disappeared, textures (suddenly men walked around without penises and things like that) ,,, I'm not sure what I did wrong, possibly I downloaded an inappropriate version for my game (I have The 1.69 version of Origin but loading it from disks, not online). I'm also not sure if I download the patch in the right folder, (the instructions have been confusing to me when passing them through the translator). Could you give me a step-by-step guide to clumsy about how and where to install the patch in question? Thanks in advance

Ok, I have all CD's with ver 1.67 but that does not matter I think.

Downloaded this patch version fom MTS  "ld_TS3PatchOrigin.zip"

Extracted it somewhere in a tmp directory.

Then copied the extracted files into this original game folder : The Sims 3/Game/Bin

Then execute the file "TS3PatchLauncher.exe" and it works for me.

(Made a link file to that exe and placed it to the desktop then for easier access)
