Hi There is a Problem with This,    some NPCs a Male and this Mod put them FEMALE Voices ( Example Guards in Falkreat punishing Sambri,   the Slaver Mage in WinterHold )  and so Other,   are you thinking to review this work and change to Male Voices,   really sounds funny and breaks immersion ?

I have remade the voice pack for the new version. You can find it here. Hope this one doesnt have problems for you.

Could we get an updated voice pack for The Ancient Profession? The last pack was for verson 0.10, the current version of TAP is 0.12. If anyone could update it I would appreciate it.

A pretty big mod just got updated and doesn't seems to have any voice file yet. Can anyone try to take a crack at it?

LOL... My mod has almost 5000 lines of silent dialogue... I really don't think that's practical :)

5000 lines really isn't much but in your case I suppose you mean 5000 x every possible voice type, which would be, like you said, impractical.

If mod by default is made for both SE and LE will just unpacking SE only BSA make the voices work for that?

I'm not quite sure what you mean by unpacking, but maybe this will help.

If a mod is made for both SE and LE, that could mean

  1.  There are loose files, no BSA. Loose files can be used as is with both LE and SE. However, in SE loose files take longer to load and you might see that in your game, which is why most SE versions pack the loose files into a BSA(s). In LE, loose files don't have this issue.
  • If you want to use loose files in SE, you can pack them up yourself with Cathedral Assets Optimizer or some other tool.
  1.  The mod author made separate archives for LE and SE, both available in the downloads section. You just need to make sure you download the correct one.

BSA's don't work the same for LE as they do for SE, so can't be interchangeable. The second post in this thread has some more information. Hope this helped.

Oh I thought I could just use BSA unpacker, good to know. Thanks for the response.

Don't have any french voice pack?Could someone post it if possible or doesn't have any french people in this website?

I haven't seen any French voice models anywhere, so the voice packs would be impossible to make without them, but then again I haven't been looking.

Can BSA be overwrite by other BSA if load them lower in MO2? I currently download the latest voice pack like Gen4 can I just load the BSA after the old version?

I guess so. I haven't tried it, though.

Yes you can, load order is key here, loose files always win over files inside BSA archives though.

Paradise Halls and Addons (DoM, HSH, AYGAS) voice packs have been added.

Thank's for adding to the list, never knew there was a compendium like this.

Is there a way to improve perfomance with all of these packs on LE? I got quite a few Sexlab mods, and voice pack with them, and I think I finally hit bedrock - the last 6gb RDS voice pack I added takes my save loading time up to 5-10 minutes. Tried loose files, tried packing it in bsa of different sizes, no luck, it's all the same. Real shame. Can anything be done about that?

Try making these BSA's near the maximum size (2 gigs) and you could remove weird voices you might never hear from the folders before doing so. Maybe you don't care about vampire male voice or stuff like that, pack won't break from things just being deleted. When you doing audio BSA's remember to not do any compression (by default bsaopt tries to do some light one). Beyond that you could look into other things that might be causing long loading times, might be all the things combined causing it to go to 5-10 mins total. How many voice packs do you have? I have quite a few myself, usually when I'm using a mod and it has a pack I'm gonna install it.

long loading is problem of loose files quantity, not bsas.

I have about 20 voicepacks (may be more) in LE, packed in bsas, some of them splitted in several bsas. Save loading takes about 10-20 secs.
