HanPL Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 In short. This mod adds over 90+ Maides captured by bandits, and dragged to caves,ruins,old forts all over Cyrodil. They all need your help so you better get moving How to start ? Best way is to start new game. Right after exiting sewers first maid will spawn in Vilverin. (Optionaly you can talk with guard on old savegame and ask about maidens or edit ini ) After finding her you will notcie few things. 1.Maids can't run without shoes. 2.They will tell you to look away (if they are naked ) and look for clothes they can wear. 3.Those girls are MAIDENS they don't know how to fight or can't run for hours, so be prepared for making short breaks whey they get tired. 4.While escorting girl to town you can't use fast travel. 5.You can tell maiden to use your horse to travel faster. 6.After escorting girl to town talk with guard to recive reward. Maids spawn randomly all over Tamriel so don't expect that you will find maiden in all caves/dungeon/forts etc. (I think you can increase spawn rate in ini file but didn't check that ) Here are few screens (from early stage of translating so don't pay attention to grammar ) Download : http://www.mediafire.com/?t6oc9jztjfyy1mb Installation : Just drag and drop esp into DATA and ini to file "INI " folder. But that also can be cheated if you use MCS companions spell. Just quickly use spell on them and order them to follow you... thanks to that maids will stay with you forever

Old Book Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 If you're using Dynamic Leveled Lists, this mod needs to be on the Ignore list. Otherwise you risk getting multiple maidens and huge hordes of extra bandits.

gregathit Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Damsel was a very simple mod that just stuck chicks in random dungeons. No quest markers or anything. If you killed all of the bad guys in that cell you could then escort her out of the dungeon where she would thank you. That was it. Once you left the area she would disappear. It was a nice little perk to dungeon crawling but largely unsatisfying.

I installed MBP++ 0.9.4 earlier, even when I deactivate it I still get the same error. Edit: woo 4 hours later I got it working. No idea what I did.. I copied over the custom class folders from _option and reinstalled MBP++. So I'm not sure what fixed it.

Differences so far: DID can be started any time in the game, CM needs you to start from scratch and from out of the sewers: I had my long time char ask the guards, then made him search Vilverin: Nothing. With a new char who once again went thru the tutorial a CM was there in Vilverin. DID: You can set the frequency of DID´s by talking to "an old adventurer" at Wawnet Inn, with CM there is nothing like this.- So far. DID: They follow you in a very basic, docile way to the door of the dungeon, whilst the CM´s run around panicking when you free them and you have to calm them down first. You have to escort them to the next city with guard, then - poof - they are gone. DID: You get an instant reward from the nameless captives, mostly some kind of an enchanted ring. CM: you get your reward a bit later. DID is completely in English, CM is still a WIP: There were some non-translated lines when my char escorted his first CM. Still 1000 thanks to HanPL for translating this PI!!! What I would like to see some day would be a real challenging "free her and escort her" mission with lots of attacks from some mysterious faction, similar to some parts of the great Viconia quest!

I got the conversation option and the book, but vilverin was a maiden free zone. Then I read that you need to do the tutorial. Fair enough, my alternative start is breaking the mod. So I start a new game and play through the tutorial this time. Bingo! There's a maiden outside vilverin. So, I kill the bandits and see about escorting her. Then on a whim, I zap her with the Mad Companionship Spell's "do free" option, just to get her in the book. It kills her. So use MCS to call her back from hell. That kills her, too. So does resurrecting her using the console. So... I don't like having innocents die on my watch. I don't mind so much them getting raped, sold into slavery and trained as mindless sex slaves, but I don't like them to die. So I though I'd reload and try again. The only save point I have the autosave after you choose your class in the tutorial, but that ought to do, right? So I reload, fight past the goblins again get to Vilverin, and no bloody maiden. Anyone know a way to force this to trigger without starting from scratch in the tutorial? I'm getting fed up of starting new games. [edit] Cancel that. Turns out the mod was active, but the first maiden spawned in a different place.

Then you can make her a companion if your quick.
