Diver71 Posted July 14, 2021 Posted July 14, 2021 Hi, Novice Sexlab user here. The Schakens Follower Manager is compatible with Sexlab, Sexlab Aroused, and Follow Me for Sex. The closest application I could find to "SexLab" per se' is SexLabFrameworkSE. Unfortunately, for me, the Sexlab functions don't work at all within SchakenFM and partially work on their on. In an effort to troubleshoot, I first went to Vortex and discovered a lot of conflicts. Here's the situation within Vortex: SexLabArousedSSELoose-29.7z Deploy order 91 SexLab Adventures SE v0.74.0.7z Currently Disabled Follow me for Sex SSE V3.5 Deploy order 92 SexLabFrameworkSE_v163_BETA8(1).7Z Deploy Order #79 Vortex returned some conflicts. SexLabFrameweorkSE is to load before the More Information Console for SKSE with a conflicting file named interface\console.swf it also has conflicts with the apparco mfg command (vv0.2.1), specifically, interface\console.swf and interface\console.alias.ini Next it has 13 conflicts with PapyrusUtil SE and Vortex offers no suggested load order, Conflicts are SKSE\Plugins\PapyrusUtil.dll Scripts\ActorUtil.pex Scripts\JsonUtil.pex Scripts\MiscUtil.pex Scripts\Source\ActorUtil.psc Scripts\Source\JsonUtil.psc Scripts\Source\MiscUtil.psc Scripts\Source\ObjectUtil.psc Scripts\Source\PapyrusUtil.psc Scripts\Source\StorageUtil.psc Scripts\Source\StorageUtil.pex Vortex allows me to edit each of these but I have no idea what edit choices to make. Clicking Preview on each of these, usually has 2 check boxes, always checked is the Papyrus box, below that is the SexLabFramework box which is unchecked, then clicking on it and then clicking open admonishes me to look for it in the Microsoft store., or the check goes away. The right side column lets me change defaults away from Papyrus to Sexlab Frameworks instead. I tried setting all the Papyrus defaults over to SexLab, and it made no difference to anything that I could tell. Any advice on how to fix these conflicts will be most highly appreciated. Thanks much
Mauserl Posted July 14, 2021 Posted July 14, 2021 I would not be surprised if Sexlab mod authors integrated killswitches if mods from the Schaken site were discovered. And I wouldn't blame them if they did. Btw. why do you ask here and not over at their site?

Where there are conflicts the last mod deployed will be the one that the game will use regarding the conflicts. As such, the order that Vortex has chosen seems to be correct to me. SexLab Framework followed by SexLab Aroused Redux followed by Follow Me for Sex. As far as these three mods are concerned your game should run just fine (I can't promise anything about the rest of your mods/load order).
sheen940 Posted July 14, 2021 Posted July 14, 2021 Why would you use vortex in SE? imo MO2 handles this kind of conflict way lot better, say, i'm not an expert but I believe i'd be as easier as placing SchakenFM at the top priority, or atleast, after sexlab.
pinky6225 Posted July 14, 2021 Posted July 14, 2021 The normal advice for PapyrusUtil SE is to let it over write (load after in vortex) since some mods come packaged with it but that will be an older version than the one available directly from the PapyrusUtil SE mode page

I have been focusing on the conflicts, id'd by Vortex, as inherent within SexLab first, and/or conflicts of SexLab vs. Papyrus.
Just Don't Posted July 14, 2021 Posted July 14, 2021 Sexlab - More Informative Console: load More Informative Console after Sexlab, otherwise you won't have the More Informative Console features. Sexlab - More Informative Console - Opparco mfg command: Opparco mfg is incompatible with More Informative Console. If you want MFG features use "MFG Fix" instead of Opparco mfg command. Sexlab - Papyrus Util: as stated before, let your Papyrus Util install load after Sexlab and any other mod containing Papyrus Util files.

I was under the impression that MO2 is the same as Nexus Mod Manager (no longer supported), so I continued on with Vortex and Loot. Looking back, I had downloaded and tried Mod Organizer 2 GUI version 2.2.2.1 over 18 months ago tried it, it didn't work, forgot about it. I don't even recall where I downloaded it from. Ok, noticing that it's still here, I tried it just now. It returns error and won't even launch, "This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized. ..." Given that I'm a Vortex user, I forgot about it and moved on. QT? as in Apple Computer Quicktime? This is the world of Microsoft. Thanks for enlightening me, maybe there's a higher version out there somewhere. I'll search around and get smart on MO2.. I'll seek out Yoda and learn the ways of MO2

Yeah that sounds like an issue with python, I suggest installing VC redist if you did not have it and downloading MO2 from here if you got it from somewhere else.

Hi Hht3s, Okay, maybe I'm ok, now, I found higher ver 2.4.2 on Nexus, downloaded and installed it, seems to be running ok, I'll have to get smart on using it now. Thanks much
