Yeah, it is the weirdest bug. But at least someone can see what I'm seeing. It looks so bizarre, hence why it was giving me a massive case of OCD.

I'll try it. Fingers crossed.

If it's a physics issue . . .

Try this, it replaces OCBP/OCBPC and MTM

That said... from your description, I guess I'd mostly worry about damaged files and/or having the wrong kind of configuration file for the physics.

Well, if they are 'damaged files', then I downloaded them 'damaged'. Because I only downloaded and installed them on a new install, on this laptop maybe within the last month or two. As for the configuration, if anything is wrong with that, then the install process is wrong as well. As I touched nothing manually outside of all that.

Yeah, that one seems like it takes far too much 'setup time' which I really don't want to mess with.

And it's not really an 'entire physics issue'. The lower body physics work just fine, the upper body physics work as well, when equipping an armor that supports them, but the armor shape is mismatched; As there is a 'static chest' that overlaps most movement. The morphs work on both lower, and upper.

As I have said multiple times:

It's like Bodyslide is building 2 different bodies, and seamlessly pasting them together.

I have seen files become damaged after they had been downloaded.

This is an ongoing problem on a large scale - steam has a "verify integrity of game files" mechanism because it's needed.

True, but the fact that it's all 'working', even when there is a second overlapping chest area, shows that they aren't damaged.

I think what the real issue is that bodyslide is building the body incorrectly.

Because, as Ive said, if I remove the body mesh, the skin looks out of whack, but everything works properly. As I showed in those screenshots a page back.

That sounds like the same problem I am having. Except I've only found a 'half fix'.

It sounds like you have a 'double body' being made when you build your body with body slide. Like so:

  Reveal hidden contents

The 'half fix' I found was to remove the 'FemaleBody.nif, FemaleBody.tri and FemaleHands.nif' from the meshes/character/CharacterAssets folder. The physics, and sliders, work, but the textures become all wonky. Like so:

  Reveal hidden contents

Removedmeshes.thumb.jpg.5878585157c3d6ffc273a40753292d97.jpg

Anyone know the other half of the fix to this? Or an alternate solution?

I left it as a last resort for that very reason. I thought I'd have to configure it and all that, but no, I installed it as is, and I already have physics as it comes. Everything else is there in case you want to change something, but I don't see the need.

If I remember correctly, the reason for our problem is that the breastbones don't have the same name as the CBP or OCBP expect in their configuration file, so they can't assign physics to them.

Huh. Well that is odd. As OCBP is required by OCBPC. And I followed that 'How to install' guide (obviously a few steps changed wile using FG); But I just don't get it. They work 100% in the guide, and only 75% for us. It's the strangest thing.

I have seen games work mostly ok with damaged files. Like, the game did not even crash, but my keyboard would flake out sometimes.

File damage does not have to hit the core game loop. It can hit a mesh or a texture or weapon specs or whatever else. Roughly speaking, anything in a file might be altered if the file is damaged (though of course the details depend on the game and its structure).

Well, I'm pretty sure it's not file damage. And you are arguing it, like you're trying to convince me that it is.

And when it happens on two different people's games, mine and JB's; It's even more unlikely that it is file damage.

So I think we can safely rule that out; Okay?

If you have taken steps to ensure it's not file damage, that's fine. (And hearing that the problem is being reproduced on another machine is probably good enough for that.)

But if you are suggesting that file damage means the game crashes, that's not fine.

No, my game doesn't crash, at least not any more than 'usual'*. And the physics work just fine, as I have said many times before. The only 'problem', is that there is a 'Double body' being built by Bodyslide. A static one on top of the physics enabled one, for the top half. Any Looks Menu overlays I put on my character, are on the static body's top, and when I equip an armor that forces the physics body to show, the overlays disappear.

There is NO file damage.

There is NOTHING unusual happening other than what I described above.

In fact, this install runs even smother than the one on my 'main rig'. Which reliably crashes when I try to exit DC to The Fens. This one has never even done that 1ce.

So can we please just accept that 'file damage' is NOT the issue here, and move on?

*Yes, it crashes when I am playing it for long 5+ hour sessions, after going through a bunch of resource heavy areas, like Downtown Boston; And this Laptop's fans start to get a bit overwhelmed. But even then it still doesn't 'crash', it just locks up, and I have to end the process, and reboot the game, after giving the fans a chance to cool the thing down.

Hi,

Fusion Girl nude body is already warped in the pre-war bathroom, right after the body sliders / LooksMenu body settings. Not later in the wasteland.

The lower torso / pelvis / lower back is deformed (wrong bulge/fold at tailbone-crotch). Clothing only follows the broken body.

If I save immediately (before perk assignment) and reload, the body is normal again.

Rebuilding FusionGirl-Nude + my preset in BodySlide does not prevent this first appearance of the warp.

What it is not:
- Not outfits / conversions
- Not BodySlide version (same with older BodySlide)
- Not BodyGen (not installed)
- Thin legs are separate: Unhealthy Craving + Rad Morphing Redux (BodyFat / hunger). Not part of my intended Petite-based preset.

Setup:
- FO4 1.10.163, all DLC, Vortex
- ZeX Fusion Girl Nude, custom preset based on Petite (breasts slightly larger)
- ZeX skeleton, LooksMenu, X-SENSUOUS
- Body built with Build Morphs to FemaleBody.nif

What applies a bad FG pelvis/lower-back morph right after the bathroom body sliders, and why does one save+reload clear it?

Hi guys, I just switched over from CBBE to Fusion Girl.
Or at least I tried to.

I got so far that I discovered that I need to manually build a female body in BodySlide to get it into the game.
So far it worked.

But I have this mod installed to replace Vanilla Clothes with more feminine 1950s style options:

https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/105567?tab=files

It seemingly does nothing?
And it is by far not the only piece of clothes.
Do I need to get every single possible piece of clothing and build a body for it or what am I doing wrong?
