NR works fine without the SAM enhanced ZeX skeleton (i.e. the regular one), my full old-gen downgrade is setup that way.  I ran that way for quite a long time.

In Skyrim AE, anyone who re-arranges .ESM load order mid-save, deserves the wipe... 

 

How is it with Fallout4?  I can see it doesn't use .esm's, only .esp and .esl's.  Are these re-arrangeable, without bricking saves? 

 

Also, from what I researched, esp is capped at 255 active slots, and esl's too...but I read on many descriptions that esl "doesn't take up a mod slot".  Was there an engine update, or do they just mean it doesn't take up an esp 255?

Ok, well, when I uninstalled ZEX from Vortex, Vortex was like "what file?" and i'm like "Bruh...." 

 

So I guess that was the problem. ZEX went AWOL. I just reinstalled the SAM edition that happens to work.   So I thought correlation = causation.  

 

*leans back*  Modding never gets boring.

It's literally the same game engine, same limitations.  254 ESPs/ESMs, 4096 ESLs, 256 General BA2 and 256 Texture BA2's.  The game definitely has ESMs.  At least with MO2, it won't let you re-arrange base game content (called unmanaged content), but you can rearrange managed content (i.e. mods).  I can't say I have ever noticed an issue doing it mid-save, but it's pretty rare.

 

I guess if you want to get it right (load order) then you should use xEdit and apply for conflicts to at least walk through plugin conflicts.

For the Safari, at the beginning of the quest, you must decide to have Kells go to the Safari on foot, which leads to a new exclusive storyline for Norita.

I never knew that too same as I didn't know I could talk Ryder down I just took a heap of psycho jet and went all stabby on him so I had to do another run through and I'm nearly at the Safari part so will be good to see what happens

Thanks! I remembered Devious Devices from Skyrim, but it turns out it's not that one. It's Devious Loot.

 

 

The idea is fun and silly. But it annoyed me that doors put devious devices on my girl. Especially because I remember that the first doors to subdue my girl, Taylor Swift, were the big doors of Windhelm, right after she landed there in one of those alternate start mods. Of all the doors, those were the ones? Then inmediately I got involved with other mods where the guards fined her for indecency, caused by their own big ass door, and then raped her.

 

It took me a long time to figure out which mod did that so I could adjust it in MCM. I made the rookie mistake of installing any mod that sounded cool without reading much.

speaking of silly rookie mistakes, I did move Nuka Ride to the bottom of ye olde load order and put everything else Nuka Ride related under it and Keyshawn definitely showed up for Fever Night quest (think thats the one with the Detective). Also I forgot Bad Ends like a doofy so Imma have to do a proper Nora run now that I have the animations.

How do you add the update file? I'm guessing delete the old and add the update file? And can it be updated mid game or only on a new game?

Just do a merge but you may already be past that update depending on when you downloaded the mod merging mean you don't have to redo the body files or ad the voice file back in

and the beach scene is one of the last quests

so I'm running in to a bug where George Cooper is getting whipped by my character and Sophie. 

 

My level of strength is only 5 and every time I use the crop on him, he dies. 

 

Tried loading earlier saves and everything but he continues to die. 

 

Is there a workaround to this?

I'm on the quest where you have to play with George Cooper with Sophie, but every time we whip him, he dies. my strength is only 5. Do I wait for Sophie to join or something? I waited for Sophie to join then talked to George but he keeps dying.

I un installed a few mods and hopefully the mod works now but I really don't want to start over. 

 

I'm already in 12 hours.

well, although MCM doesn't say I have a conflicted mod, I may have. I'm wondering if anyone can show me how to use set stage so that i don't have to start over from the beginning. I'd be happy to throw them some money. :)

not using a crop but i do have a mod called "god's ring" that may be the culprit. Sadly, I don't wanna start a new game, i'm in 12 hours already

Just  uncheck the mod also check your crop in-game and see how much damage it's throwing down should be zero I think

set stages you will need to open your console with the tilde key (the one before the 1 key) and copy the stage you want then control v it into the console but be warned this can break a shitload of the mod because  setting a stage does not complete every thing in the quest you are trying to complete
