Is the main quest line of this mod finished?

I have the utmost respect for modders who create mods like this or other mods and try to solve the problems, but for me personally, this mod is completely unusable and completely useless.

 

I get to the quest "Head for Business." After completing the quest, nothing happens, no new quests. Colter (Overboss) from NukaRide has disappeared and can't be spawned via the console (placeatme/moveto). When I spawn the Overboss, the Overboss appears in PowerArmor (vanilla game) and attacks. Please, no help/tips, etc. I've gone through the site and played through/used the help/tips. I've also uninstalled everything and only installed the bare essentials, but nothing helped.
Tested with NR v6.8 and v6.9

i have no such folder in my documents, are there a way to skip that part?

Seems you have another FSE Folder in the FSE folder, check that out. Looks like the culprit for your issues.

would look at what stage you are on for that quest, copy this in console and see what it returns getstage _NukaRide_Head2

 

it it returns 310 then the quest completed if not you missed something

This message wasn't respectful in anyway, it's certainly not the way to ask for help or resolve your issue.  I can see you believe you know better, but:

 

1. You never do placeatme for an NPC attached to quests, that's the wrong thing to do, it creates a new reference and none of the quests will work with a "placeatme" NPC.  It should always be a {refid}.moveto.

2. Overboss in this mod is a completely different NPC from base game, so you need to open the mod in xEdit and find the REF ID (not NPC ID) for Overboss from this mod.  So that's why he is attacking you.  The ref id for Overboss is xx03E92F, where xx is the load order for Nuka Ride.esp.

 

I had zero issues completing that quest 6.8.  If the NPC is not in place then it's very possible you missed something or didn't complete a task, most things have quest markers so make sure to enable the quest in your journal so you can see the markers, some things do not have quest markers and require reading, understanding, and thinking.  Download the quest stages guide, use the "sqv" command on the Editor ID ("sqv _NukaRide_Head2" in this case) and post the screenshot (showing the stage and aliases would be useful), and never use the setstage command unless you know it won't break the quest (there are some quests where forcing stages will be a problem).  You can also attach your modlist.txt and plugins.txt if you want, some folks will be able to help identify quickly conflicting mods.

 

If you want help, then actually post something useful, otherwise just move on.

I keep having an issue where my body is reset to the default, and I can't change it with bodyslide anymore. The sliders remain at the right position, but they have no effect. Once this happens in a save, there is nothing I can do to get it working again. This happens whenever I equip outfits that don't have the "NR" prefix, including the default vault dweller uniform. With clothes, the body looks fine, but once I unequip the body is reset. It also happens on a new save.

 

I use fusiongirl for bodies, and tried to follow the AAF manual.

If it is the nude body, then it sounds like you didn't build that body.  Did you do a batch build w/ build morphs selected, and did you include the FusionGirl-Nude body?  If it is vanilla clothing, then it's more or less the same question but you need to select all of the vanilla outfits or use the Fusion Girl group selection in BodySlide.  BodySlide morphs the body & outfit shapes based on your selections in a batch build and the sliders you have chosen.

 

I choose the Body FusionGirl-Nude, my preset, you can adjust sliders if you want, check build morphs, check the NIF (although I don't think it matters for a batch build), hold my Control key + click Batch build, select outfits/bodies I want to build, give in the folder for output (that's what holding Control key does, it prompts you for output folder), and that's pretty much it.  More advanced is you can use the group/outfit filters to the right of the Outfit/Body selection to do targeted builds (those filters limit the outfit selection in batch build, handy if the mod comes with solider group files and you just want to build the outfits for that mod).

 

By default the output will go to your overwrite folder (if you use MO2, so make sure your not clearing that), I have no idea what happens with Vortex.  But the default output (if you don't hold control key during batch build) is the game data folder configured in BodySlide settings, if that is wrong then yeah none of the BodySlide changes will work.  If you find that the game data folder is wrong, best thing to do is perhaps delete BodySlide mod and reinstall, and at first run make sure you select the right game with the right game folder.

I am sorry to hear this. This mod rocks.

 

Too many people, myself included, have played this all the way through with little to no issues. That leads me to think it is a local issue.

 

I've read what you said, but what I've found is create a new mod list, I know it has a name, I just don't know it.

 

Put JB's mod at the bottom of the list.

 

Was everything working fine UNTIL this quest?

 

You played it all, right? Didn't skip with console commands or anything? Just played the mod the way it was meant to be played?

Let's go for more! Here are some pics I've been working on to complete the new Norita update. I've included a nudist beach, but I'll have to read a few literotica stories (about nudist beaches...) to see if I can come up with anything else.

 

I started off again with a "I'm going to do a little quest to enable the stripclub radio station" only to find out that the quest is far from little.

Exactly my thoughts! At first I was outraged at the disrespectful entitled Karen behavior and then I was frustrated by the grace he was being shown by the community. Totally undeserved.

 

@Bloodhhunter666 you came in here saying you have the utmost respect for mod authors but not JB,  calling his mod useless because why? You came across one issue which your blown up ego couldn't figure out in a DLC sized mod created by 1 person and a few helpers because what? You read and tried all the help and tips in the 800+ page forum? As if! You don't want anymore help/tips? Then why are you here? This isn't Yelp! if you're having a genuine issue and you can communicate like a normal person, this is the place to be. You may solve your issue or if it turns out that it was actually a bug, then you may end up contributing to a bug fix. You could've had that but no, you had to be a little gremlin. So you can take your whiny review and 2 stars and walk right out of here back into your Nuka Ride free life! Have fun!

I have the same thing going on with a poster by the X-cross, but that one for me is OK.  It's a bit odd.

All posters have collision issues. The poster is one size but the collision is much larger. That's not usually a problem... until I put the little stars on the apartment wall. The poster collision blocked interaction with the stars. So I remade posters 01 to 06, this time with fixed collision, but this meant the posters had new coordinates. I had to correct them one by one in all the places they were placed.

 

Looks like Izzy forgot to fix that one on "Nuka Ride World patch" and I forgot to correct the one near the cross.

I have noticed a couple of little things which are not game breaking but my curiosity got the better of me. On the farm when you collect the eggs and veg for the omelette, when I click to activate, sometimes the animation plays and sometimes they don't and if it plays on one it doesn't play on the other. Another thing is that there's no shower cubicle in the apartment. That just reminded me. The nail polish thing  which is supposed to be next to the bed upstairs isn't  there. Have I forgot to install something?
