Careful what you wish for 🥰  I don't really expect you to want to read all this to begin with, but should you need it, or need to refer back to it, it's now here 🖤

 

My full and novella-length personal and technical reviews below.  If you're feeling burnt out or need a break you absolutely should take care of yourself and your needs before working on this or anything else.  This should be as fun for you to make as it is for us to play, if not moreso.  Your priority is to be happy and healthy, and this shouldn't feel like a chore for you.  That's how movies and games and other leisure activities end up starting off really great and then decline.  Forcing ideas can lead to writer's block, which sometimes under pressure will make writing suffer.  This has been and always should remain the way it is - much like cooking it should be made with love and keeping the negative thoughts away 🖤 While this technical stuff breaks my mind, if you ever do want help with the writing aspects, I'm not bad at it and would be willing to help out with ideas and creative webs and such.

Personal Review:

As has been pieced together between comments, I found this mod by pure coincidence when a QA group I was in teased that I'm never on Discord but if someone talks about Raider Pet I magically show up - and I did - only to call it "cute TPE but with raiders".  The person making the joke said I should play Slavers, which I'd never heard of and long story short it led me back in November to Nuka Ride.  I admittedly played it as a kind of joke not knowing what I was getting into.  I was like, well, Nora already survived Jared so she can definitely survive a simple porn star mod.

 

I glanced the quest stages and chose the Nora route (I liked the sound of hardcore and assumed it just meant more hardcore porn scenes) but kinda expected it to be a little...silly...it was on the night before my birthday, and nobody heard from me on my actual birthday because I was so invested in playing through the quests that I woke up (excited) at 6am and didn't stop playing until 1am.  I fell in love with the humor, the use of sounds and music to set the mood for the player.  It had some bugs on that route, more than in Norita route, but they weren't game breaking for me and usually I could work around them.  That's more than I can say for many multi-billion dollar companies with thousands of employees working on their games.  

 

I found myself so invested in the mod that I started my little bugs list just in case I ever got brave enough to interact in here, to send them.  As I've mentioned my very first LL comment was on here, and I'm not a very social person so I have to really love something to put myself out there.  Playing Nuka Ride I could feel my character's pain, joy, the pure ironies of life.  I loved the dynamics between characters, and picking up on small nuances that change your perspective on those same characters.  

 

By the time I played the Norita route, I had memorized the Nora route and everyone in my circle probably at this point knows them both by heart without picking up a single controller or keyboard.  At this point, my IRL Daddy refers to the Overboss as "Pixel Daddy" and if I abandon my chores for too long the new method of punishment is taking my controller away from me - this happened earlier this week....there were tears okay, your mod is like, really good so don't think your work isn't appreciated and loved.

 

I don't really unwind with TV or music the way a lot of people do.  I could never really disconnect, for almost 40 years.  I have autism, a barrage of physical conditions that make basic tasks so difficult and painful for me (even getting dressed and such is a hard task) and something called schizoaffective disorder, so my brain won't shut off even when I sleep and I'm pretty antisocial, mostly staying on the farm and my best friends are all chickens.  In 2020 I played my first video game ever, Fallout 4, as a joke of "lets escape the end of the world by playing a game about the end of the world" to mostly keep me sane.  I was in a high quarantine zone, where we couldn't leave the house even for emergencies we were required to call an ambulance not drive ourselves in.  But since I found your mod, I finally found something that shuts my brain off entirely and I can absorb into it.  Despite jokes, my family is grateful I've found something that makes me happy and keeps my focus, because honestly things weren't so great for me leading up to this.  I was at a giving up in life kind of point in time, suffering hard losses in family, friends, and pets.  

 

It'll sound terribly silly but your mod helps me get out of bed some mornings.  It keeps me on task for things I have to do around the house because I have a reward once it's finished to focus on instead of the pain of what I'm doing.  

 

The Mod itself:

On the mod love itself side, it has more twists and turns than a rollercoaster, with each bit of humor or small comment you barely notice culminating into a mind-blowing moment.  I began questioning everything everyone says from the moment the joke about dog brothers became real, and had been waiting to see what hell Music would put us through with her "I need Jesus" comment at Bunker Hill (and oh boy did that pay off for me).  Each quest leads to a new answer but 20 new questions.  You end up loving people you hated (Allen was the most ironic character to develop a small crush on) and hating people you once loved or at least liked (will never feel the same about Gage again lol).  You developed characters who had little background or story such as William and Nisha, obviously the most impressive as been with Colter (and I admittedly always hated his English version accent in the game which was Australian btw) as well as never understood how a stupid drunk who never actually fought anything on his own to take NT was "overboss" of 3 pretty powerful gangs.  

 

The work you've done to edit the space was spectacular in itself, and I once wanted to compare to the base game so mid-Norita playthrough I disabled NR and loaded in the middle of NT....wow...it's night and day.  All the work to remove debris alone was hours.  Here I am, loading CK and still trying to figure out how the very basics work.  I have managed to create 2 NPCs that don't work right, cause Abernathy Farm to float, made an outfit that broke physics and killed a man, and still can barely figure out how to navigate it.  Like, I am now 1 month in and I don't even know what all the windows are for.  That thing gives me some serious choice fatigue, so I can't express how impressive it is to me when anyone can make any mod much less one like this.  

 

The music is fantastic and fitting.  I've never heard the majority of the songs used, and love the youtube playlist you provided. The quests themed and named for many of the songs is clever and adds to the magic of the mod.  Even your main pages are filled with love and dedication to this mod.  The Main Themes you created are so good that I sometimes just sit on the main screen for a while, between the video and music they're worth hanging out on that screen for a good, long time.  

 

There will always, always be "but what happens next", and we will always want more, but that's truly because this mod takes you to this place you created and you usually only find that in actual books.  I love to read, love fanfiction and smut fics.  They take you into this world and you feel like you're living as the character.  A lot of people have trouble reading a book because they literally can't visualize what's happening, so your mod opens up a whole new experience for people like that, which is statistically most people.  This mod lets you read a book that you can see.  People aren't really used to that, and it's quite addictive to find a new experience.  People might take that overboard a little, in their enthusiasm, but it speaks to how great this actually is.  

 

Your new world spaces are gorgeous and fairly easy to navigate, and fun to explore since you can find little tidbits of lore and even some cool items if you do.  The combination of other mods to create beautiful and unique items for yours, use of the previous Fallout game lore and real world facts (plus some you may not have intended?  Corsican makes a comment that about porn essentially bringing back the automotive industry and being the salvation and such....while in real life, America when it was first forming and basically a lawless hellscape, also used "porn" to build itself up and create its very first towns...brothels were basically the reason the US even exists, and the way that worked is a Madame would build a small structure to start, and host girls there.  Then, towns would build up around those brothels, men would help build up the structure to be bigger and better, and once enough buildings were there, the brothel almost always acted as like...a main government.  They even could tax other businesses since it was "their" town.  It's a wild history and every time he says this line it makes me wonder if it was coincidence or based on this, and the fact that those towns and travel between them is why we invented the horse wagon which led to those weird car bikes which led to cars lol)

 

Your use of foreshadowing without giving away that it is foreshadowing, along with subtle clues about the future in general is something you don't really see much of anymore in modern movies, books, games, anything.  Most just smack you in the fact screaming THIS IS A FORESHADOWING EVENT and it ruins any chance of surprise or twists.  You leave some things out in the open while sneaking others in so we won't notice, which is a really clever method. 

 

In summary, this is one of the best pieces of art I've ever had the privilege to play through.  Each and every update makes me want to start fresh just to ensure that I'm getting the correct experience.  I can't usually hold my focus on one specific thing for more than 15 minutes, but I could play this endlessly and never tire of it.  I always will want more quests, more story, more answers - but I'm so grateful for everything you've already given us.  It's getting harder and harder to pick "favorite" quests, favorite characters, favorite outfits (bunny purse still has my heart on favorite accessory though), and each and every update gives me something more to love in this mod.  

 

Like I said, don't burn yourself out, but if you ever question whether what you've already done and continue to do is appreciated and the effort is noticed, it is.  Even if we don't say it.  Personally I feel I spam this place enough with my bug reports and nonsense about more chickens, so I didn't really think I should leave such a massive comment until now, after seeing that which broke my heart for you.  And don't ever think you need to reply to me - I don't leave these for a reply, just to hopefully be helpful and help you improve something I truly do love.  I can't speak for anyone else, but a reply isn't my goal (unless it's an actual question but even then, there are others on here to help and you don't have to always worry yourself over helping people - we can all help on here ❤️

Mainly because it's simpler and easier to work with. Very small learning curve. No extra steps required when modding and it's easier to diagnose and fix issues. It doesn't add extra files to every single folder and doesn't need to be launched in order to play a game.

 

The biggest downside is, one must possess the ability to read a mod description and comprehend what it does and when it needs to load. aka you can't just blindly install mods because later you'll discover it doesn't work correctly because LOOT sucks arse and can't read dependencies embedded in scripts. None of the MM can, thus back to the reading and comprehension point.

 

But, I started by manually installing mods, so the core skills were learned very early on. And the best part, NMM a lines very well with K.I.S.S.

In other words, why use something so overly complicated to do a very very simple task?

I got games to play dang nabbit!!

 

Oh, and I really don't care what MM folks use. It's really just personal preference. 👍

After the night fever quest with maxson in my apartment whenever i try to talk to him he tells me to sit however even when im sitting he still tells me to sit. Ive tried sitting in multiple places yet nothings working. Thanks in advance

Okay, i didnt wanted to spam this thread, but i finished both ways, as Nora and Norita. At first i had kinda mixed feelings because this was first time trying this type of mod and knowing that im not that Fallout hero. So by Nora story i got used to it, and then when i saw the "same" quest name as Norita i was like oh again this, but no, it was big surprise how everyone behaved to you, everything was totally different in that second playthrough. After finishing both ways i can say it was really nice experience, if this was a standalone game, you would be a millionaire, there are just those lame visual novels or house party. So thanks you for your work, its really art,i might have some ideas what should you add or storywise, but im not going to. Just work on it when you feel it, take your time, go for hike, its nice outside. SO THANK YOU...

I love and adore both you and your work. It is the best by far of anything I know.

 

I can't even to imagine the amount of work that you have put into it. I've stopped asking 'when' months ago when I realized what a toll it was taking on you then. You HAVE to take care of yourself. So much of us love your work and just can't get enough.

 

The comments, the interactions, heck, I listen to Cannons on repeat all day every day and of course Wild Ones. 😁

 

Your work inspired me to do other things that you are aware of that I would never have done.

@savantladylilith Wow, I read the whole thing, although, yeah, when I saw those paragraphs I said “I better get a cup of coffee first” XD.  Thank you for opening up like that, I think writing that will have taken more courage than I can imagine.  Although I also feel a little bad because the Overboss is a real son of a bitch in Nora's route and I know there are times when no matter what option you choose to talk to him, he always comes back at you with double the viciousness 😰 and I don't know how good that is for someone who may not be going through the best stage of their life.

I say these nationalities because I am Latin American and we belong to very different cultures, but none of them is exempt of courtesy rules.

 

Anyway, all this because the “when next” messages tend to bring out the worst in me. xD I often read comments that authors receive on Nexus and I always say “there is no way I can stand this crap”. I guess there are a lot of kids there, buff.

Thanks to you! That new route came about when I FINALLY got to play my mod from start to finish. I played the “alternate route” this time, with a young girl. This alternate route was the same as always but there was no “husband”, there was no “son”, otherwise it was identical.

 

And I realized that OB treated young girls so affectionately. Lucy Abenathy, his daughter, even Kali. And my character was young too but she was mistreated so much that I started hating the OB xD So I said, nah, I'll make a route from scratch with a young girl and have her treated differently.

Your supposed to activate the hose on the wall.  Most things have quest markers, so make sure you are activating the quests in your quest log so you can see the markers.  There are a few things that may not have markers, which then you have to pay attention to dialogue.

well was able to test the new SC scaling mod (updated today) and 6.9e.   It was with Lamar in the cupcake world but it still worked fine for a blowjob (virgin route) as he stayed the proper scale for the scene.

If you haven't found what is causing that yet I figured I would let you know it is AAF Prostitution that is causing those messages. This started happening to me on my new playthrough, so I did a filter search in FO4Edit to find the dialogue chain containing these lines.

The when and what's next should be the quiet part and the "thank you wow this was amazing I loved it" should be the out loud part and I guess some people just don't get that memo XD 

 

Don't feel bad at all for the attitude of that man-child during mine or anyone's first experience, though apparently from the comments some people take those Nora route OB comments personally - I actually chose the hardcore route for a hardcore experience and you so delivered!  I mostly just wasn't expecting a story and so many well-developed characters going in, I expected a semi-corny plot at best and gratuitous sex scenes, not this epic comic-book like adventure where you periodically work at a porn studio - but I found the attitude and treatment comical more than anything, and there was no rule that while losing self-esteem temporarily after each snarky anti-woman comment from him that Nora couldn't just roll her eyes right along with me 😜First time playing after Kill Me Softly when you're wearing the Overbitch armor and have the crown on I just remember thinking 'well thank god this thing covers my eyes because if he saw how hard they just rolled this man would probably skin me alive' XD 

 

🖤So long as "the worst in you" mostly includes lots of sass and not an unwell mental state, just never let yourself feel bullied or pressured.  Ugh, those Nexus comments sections are wild.  I have to be smashing into multiple brick walls to even look to them for help with a mod because 90% of them are complaints and bug reports that are user-caused.  I'm by no means a sensitive person and never really take much personally even when it's directed at me I just assume the other person is the one with the issue, but man....those comments sections give me anxiety just to scroll through.  Nobody should take that level of abuse especially when they're providing a type of service to the users.  Nexus really needs to have more options for mod makers on there, no wonder it's basically just a skeleton of what it was and most have moved on between removing rights to your own mod and how you are treated.  You all do enough for us and don't need to put up with that crap.  LL just has an overly enthusiastic fanbase XD🖤
