I had the same problem.  Was using AAF 1.71 had to change to AAF 1.1.1 to get though the scene but the alignment was off.

I have been running into issues with no player voices.  With AAF 1.7.1.  Seemed to happen in the next dialog after an AAF scene.  Closing game and restarting cleared it every time.   Will see what AAF 1.1.1 does to it.

I left you the preset in the Options folder in MEGA, it's called Charli Looksmenu preset

As for what you're saying, I'm 99% sure I put a marker over Isabella's head. The quest is "Not A Ride", not "Dolled up". She should be in the back yard of her house. That would be... in front of vanilla Nate and Nora's house.

I saw no quest markers at all during this pre-war quest, nor was I able to change my clothes without using the console. I'm guessing it's because the quest removed my pipboy. 🤔 I've been meaning to install one of those mods that hide it but haven't decided which one I like best. Any recommendations?

 

I also had issues with some of the AAF animations, the love triangle one for instance, and the one at the end in her room. Most others worked, so it's not a general issue.

No, I don't remove the pipboy. That's like sacred.

 

I use Tactical Tablet.

 

In addition to turning it invisible in third person, it has an MCM to reset the pipboy.

When going to see the OB in the market during "Heart of Steel", a face overlay is being applied to the player after the initial dialog.  In my case it is pink so I am missing the textures.  Where do I find them?

The new version of “Scripted Face Tints” already fixed the purple textures problem. But if you install "weepy tears" you'll fix it, no matter what version you have.

I can't seem to get rid of these cheek beads in Music's shop?  I want to say this might have been a problem with 6.8 as well.  I think this is headpart 816 from satisfactory piercings?

Well, that's definitely what happened to me. I'm not making it up. 🙂 Are you sure you're not unintentionally disabling it or something?

 

EDIT: I loaded an earlier save and it's definitely that quest that removes the pipboy. 🤔

 

EDIT 2: If I use a mod like Pipboy 2000 (seemingly similar to Tactical Tablet), it keeps working in the pre-war quest.

Charlotte says put on my DB Tech Highschool Jacket - and we will get started.

Say what? I have no such jacket, and Google is no help.

What am I missing - and where do I find it?

I did find a mention of high school outfits being added to our pre-war dresser. Where is that?

Love the new addition. All scenes play perfectly.

This happened to me also, and I think it's related to the outfit and not NR (probably, anyway) because I've had that happen using that mod without NR and I did have it installed, just type: player.equipitem 00021b3b and it will reappear 🖤

I had an issue with night fever when I go to visit Moe Cronin. He puts up a curtain for the aaf scene. At the end it kicks me out of the curtain doesn't take it down and I can't talk to him. I couldn't even teleport him to me with console commands. I had to skip past this scene so I could finish the quest.

6.8 only used tongue piercing. 6.9 is where I started using those facial percings.

 

 

It should come out with this (Music always runs this function before you put on a new set of facial tattoos)

But after checking my scripts, my mod doesn't equip that one. Maybe you crafted it yourself and equipped it?

I've been looking my scripts up and down and now that you mention it... the problem is the outfit! 🫣 I'm going to upload a new version tonight so it doesn't happen to someone else.

I believe it came in with new set that Elder Maxson added.  Ad Victoraem or something like that.  I ended up getting rid of it by going into LooksMenu, saving a preset, and then reloading the preset.  It didn't get saved to the JSON file as a headpart, I was kind of expecting it to be there.

 

Edit: Yeah so I went into Lips Piercings, Add Ad Victoraem (sic?), and then said remove all piercings and the cheek beads are left behind.

Now I see that things are different if you don't have AAF 1.1. You see, with the new AAF, you appear here after the scene.

While with the older version, you appear outside (because technically it's not your character who entered, but an AAF clone).

 

I'll see how to fix it.

I think I may have an actual script bug.

Overboss has me on my knees outside Parlor.

Asks if I have had personal grooming.

Two dialog choices; neither one yes or no.

Either choice just loops. No way to exit the dialog. Had to qqq from console.

I did have a hair trim from Music a day or two before.
