It's not a mod I recommend, but here's the problem.

 

That mod is very old and engages in a very harmful practice: replacing original Savage Cabbage files, causing many new animations to be unavailable to those who have it installed (like the pole dances).

 

Since my mod uses a lot of pole dances, many users reported that this animation always failed, and it took me years to find the cause: AAF Prostitution. Although I wasn't exactly searching intensely.

 

So that XML file is only for those who have AAF Prostitution installed. But that doesn't mean my mod uses it under any circumstances.

I would downgrade to old-gen (1.10.163.0).  More than likely your on game version 1.11.169.0 which few F4SE plugins support.

 

You can use these delta patches to downgrade the game version:

You should also mark your appmanifest_377160.acf file to read only, it should be in the steamapps folder of your Steam Library root (i.e. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps).

This is very interesting. I updated from 6.9.0f to 6.9.3g and the save was at the point on getting the visit from Maxson when he tells you about the overboss & gage going to the galactic park to take it. On going into nuka market, everything was fine, this happened right after the dialogue prompt confirming what maxson said. After completing the conversation with OB and Gage, everything went back to normal.

If Norita is one of the Overboss's girls, she'll tear up when she sees him beaten up. So... you need "Tears Overlay" from Nexus.

You need to check your F4SE mods are the correct versions for the game version, which is definitely a problem that you already had.  This mod:

can usually help identify/report out incompatible F4SE mods.  It's not a replacement for reading instructions and understanding what F4SE & it's plugins are and the game ecosystem.  But it is definitely possible that a F4SE mod can crash the game, you should have installed Buffout 4 NG and check for the crash log in your documents folder.  It will have some clues, but best advice is downgrade the game version (1.10.163.0 works best for this mod, widest support in terms of recommended plugins -- but it will work on 1.10.984.0 as well with some loss of features) and then go through every mod that installed an F4SE plugin (any DLL written to Data\F4SE\Plugins) and re-install it with the correct versions.  Some mods will have prompts during installation for 1.10.163.0 or 1.10.984.0 -- you need to select the correct version, other mods have different download versions that you need to choose the right one.

 

FYI, the latest game version is 1.11.169.0 (there has been 3 game version updates since the 10th, with another one expected in December), support is pretty limited and some modders are not publishing updates until after December.  So your only options are to downgrade, or wait, and there are F4SE mods used here that are not even supported on the game version released last year (1.10.984.0) -- but those are optional mods (i.e. the loss of features I mentioned above).

I probably should have mentioned it, however it is mentioned on the mod I linked.  You need this mod if you downgraded to 1.10.163.0:

If you downgraded to 1.10.163.0 without this mod you will crash at start up.  This mod is only needed if your using game version 1.10.163.0.

I have tried several things now, and it seems to be a problem with Bodysliders not being set up right or something like that.

 

It's late where I am, so I am going to go to bed, and try again tomorow. 

 

And then, my plan will be.

 

1) Downgrade my game and turn that file to read only

 

2) Actually test the files this time by enabaling F4SE right from the off.

 

3) Figure out what is happening inch by inch, and finallt get this figured out, so that people after me will have a better idea on how to get this to work.

Ive just got enough points to go see Dara and complete Star Crops but when i looked on the map to see where she was, i noticed Dara was near the Ferris Wheel, so i fast travelled to her to have a chat and found she had died at some point as she was behind the wall on the floor. I know shes pretty important going forward and i have no idea when she died so im thinking i will have to restart sadly. Ive never had it happen before so i thought i would report it.

I'm not sure how that can happen because Dara is marked as essential. Just click on her and type resurrect.

Hello all,

I"m running 6.9.1 on an older build of F04 1.10.163.0 (the pre-2024 patch). I"m currently stuck on becoming a porn star quest - seems as though there is no motorcycle in diamond city, and no quest markers.

I won't be allowing my fo4 to update, so my thinking is I need to find an older version of Nuka ride, If so does anyone have a link to a pre-2024 version?

Or can anyone confirm that 6.9.1 is runnable on older builds?

Have a really silly question. The belly button piercing Patti gives you, once you have retrieved her toys from the Fun House and she has given you her outfit, don't show up. I have checked I have them in my Meshes folder (Meshes/by MAIBATSU/Piercing collection). Have also checked in Bodyslide, but even there they are listed but they are not visible. UPDATE: I think I'm missing the Textures

JB is running full old-gen last I recall, I am using downgraded old-gen, so both should be working fine.  Check your journal (quest log) and make sure the quest is active, but it sounds like you missed something.  Most of the quests are main quests and typically they are not automatically marked active, there are a few that are miscellaneous quests, so check both.

I' m running an original .163 also that has not been "molested" by Bethesda and it run perfect on all NR updates,the bike should be in front Danny Sullivan's counter at the gate,you may have a mod conflicts (something altering Diamond city) or load order problem

I just finished Norita's route, and I'm impressed by your writing skills. I've never been so invested in following Norita's adventures. I think your mod is better written than the vanilla game, but that's just my opinion.

 

I'm having a problem when I talk to an NPC who gives me an item, like the tokens during The Lusty Lady Strip Club. The NPC's animation loops and they stay there without moving.
The same thing happens with Kellogg or other NPCs who give me money to buy things at the market. Is this a bug in your mod, or is it caused by an external mod?

Thanks! And yes, it seems another mod is modifying that idle. The idle is vanilla, and if I have to guess, another mod modified it to "loop forever." I have no idea which mod would do that, and especially not why. 

 

Until you catch the culprit, the only thing I can think of is to click on them and type "disable", then "enable".

This sounds like you have the bodyslide file installed, but you don't have the mod installed.

Perhaps it's worth setting a trap for Norita through fan letters, luring her somewhere, similar to the event with former employees of the institute... perhaps someone else from the powerful (rich) world would want to order her for their birthday, an event with a cake.
