AAF Nuka Ride: A Porn Studio Mod

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

My mod deactivates the captain Avery and reactivates her at the end of the "Semper Sexy" quest, and it also double-checks every time you load a save to make sure everything is in place. It doesn't modify Far Harbor quests. Since I implemented the failsafe about a year ago, I haven't received any reports.

That doesn't mean I won't modify them someday. I want to add a special greeting from Allen Lee in case Nora is on good terms with him. Right now, Allen Lee always maintains this belligerent attitude towards Nora, and it doesn't really make sense if you've just finished Semper Sexy.

That would be a good opportunity to see how everything is at Far Harbor, from a technical standpoint. I wouldn't want to truncate the DLC.

Ah I see, so I'd better completed all far harbor NR quests then start the original far harbor one, thank you for the reply!

Why not use a separate profile to run Nukaride and a separate profile for your other playthoughs?

Saves messing with the original game

because I want to play NR with other dlc? average fo4 lewd modlist already messy enough anyway, I can't even load my savegame if my character in interior idk why I just save the game exclusively in exterior now, I'm sure the bug isn't related to NR but I'm too lazy to find the culprit

All good but expect bugs and weird things to happen but you seem to have them anyway👍

On the Norita path, Isabella mentions going back to  pre-war deal sometime together. Is that implemented or no? I been trying to do that so far with no luck at various points as things go along.

Thanks for the image, I understand now. There is no date.  The thing is, your AAF is configured incorrectly and my mod doesn't know what to do. I know that in the upper right corner your percentage is not 100%.

You have to use the guide to install AAF. You probably installed some old patch or animation that is breaking AAF. My suggestion is to go back to the tutorial and install everything exactly as instructed, and remove anything that doesn't work. That percentage you see at the top should be 100% and disappear.

Once that's fixed, reload a previous save. It seems you accepted a kissing scene, but since AAF is broken, the mod broke there.

Son of a gun that's exactly what it was... Ididnt realize I had the old AAF installed from nexus, not from discord. Thank you again a thousand times JB. This is by far my absolute favorite mod for fallout, and the only reason why I play it LOL ! I havent played Nuka ride since about 2 years ago and I was blown away by how much you've improved it, bravo once again

I've unfortunately ran into another god awful issue which was totally my fault. FOR SOME FUCKED UP REASON when I went to start up F4SE , it randomly prompted Fallout 4 to launch via steam, despite me being in offline mode, which forcefully and unintentionally updated my game and  BROKE IT ! LOL so now I'm going to fling myself off the highest mountain because O.M.G I'm just beyond annoyed. Been trying to downgrade to my previous version which was 1.10.984 but it's been a big mess. Fuck you @Bethesda everyone else pls pray for my well being

*throws myself off the rockiest mountain hitting every rock and jagged edge all the way to the bottom leaving me completely crippled, disfigured, breaking every bone in my body only to be left still alive and suffering* THATS HOW THESE FUCKING BETHESDA UPDATES FEEL LOL

Yeah, I saw the reply to your comment and that worked for me as well. That glitch has been bugging me for a couple weeks now.

Now I keep crashing outside of Good Neighbor, just another issue to sort out... I keep seeing PRP, (the child esp file for PRP, I forgot the name), YuVend, and a lighting mod come up in the error log, but I'm not sure how those would cause an issue. Maybe something to do with load order?... I don't know.

I know that the prp files should be the last in the loadorder, they should overwrite all the game files. When I was installing prp (I didnt like it, I deleted it as unnecessary, lol) I have not encountered any problems, but I know for sure that prp is a very problematic mod - it requires a lot of patches for mods and some patches simply do not exist and you need to make them yourself. I was playing fallout on my old PC (i3-12100, rx580, 16gb RAM) and didnt notice the special performance boost that the prp mod claims, so I deleted it and still dont use it. I would advise you to try disabling prp, and if it helps, just delete it (especially since I remember that nuka ride doesnt treat prp very well). prp is a buggy mod that users keep using and I dont understand why.

I have been fixing my fallout for about 4 years and realized that this is not a game where you can fix performance without turning the game into soap, lol.

It turns out the crash was related to PRP, I had just forgotten install some of the required files that shipped with the mod, so the game was trying to reference resources that were not there, and it was causing a crash.

I do notice a difference, specifically in interior spaces, sometimes I would go into a building and maybe 90% of the walls and floors were invisible, so I would basically be floating in "the aether", but after installing PRP, the problems were no longer present. I also noticed some performance increase in areas that I had frame rate drops before, without PRP installed. I think a lot of whether you will notice a difference or not depends on what mods you have installed, load order, the machine you are playing the game on, and graphics card/graphics card settings, for example, I don't remember the exact specs of my computer at the moment, but my graphics card is a 4080. There might be bugs with PRP installed that I don't know about, but if there are any, they aren't outweighing the benefits I'm getting.

As much as Bethesda likes to claim that Fallout 4 was intended to be modded, that game doesn't seem to like being modded as much as one would expect. Just my observation, anyway.

The problem with PRP mod is that when you run it, you need a patch for EVERY mod that touches cells, worldspaces, previs and precombines.

And most mods touch those areas.

This increases load on system, plugin count and archive count. And not every mod has patches.

It's bad enough juggling facegen patches for all mods, as well as interoperative patches for mods (i.e. AAF patch for Unique Player).

While there mods out there to run through your load order and generate previs and precombines, they are a little too complicated for a lot of users.

Personally, I just run without it, and pay attention to load order of plugins, priority going to mods lower in the list. Works well, and increases stability.

Yes. Same situation. After updating to W11, I forgot to block auto-update. If there is a verified downgrade guide somewhere - please send  link to me. I successfully installed the game a week ago (after a 2 year break) and played for 2 days.

I just downgraded from AE to OldGen using the following (text in red are modifications I had to make)

Need to revert your game files because you already updated? Follow these steps:

Create a new folder to contain all your Fallout 4 files
Open the Run Dialog box (WINKEY + R) paste the following:
steam://nav/console    use steam://open/console instead
press enter
A Steam console should appear. At the bottom, copy and paste each "download_depot" line by line

Fallout 4 Base Files + English
download_depot 377160 377161 7497069378349273908
download_depot 377160 377162 5847529232406005096

download_depot 377160 377164 2178106366609958945

These are DLC's, you need to own them to download them:

Automatron + English

HD Texture Pack:
download_depot 377160 540810 1558929737289295473

After each one completes, Note the folder its downloading to (displayed in the console window)
If you get an error about a license that just means the above list includes DLC you did not pay for. Ignore those errors
Once done, open the folder specific in the "Depo download complete" message, locate the Fallout 4 files within (all will be in separate appId folders), and paste them into the folder you created in step 1.
If you have any file conflicts, the file in the larger appId wins
After downloading all of the above depos you should now have a fully reverted version of Fallout 4 to do with as you please.

The above paragraph has to be modified as follows:

Before you copy anything to Fallout 4 installation folder DELETE everything in that folder, AE has extra files that will crash your game if left in!

The folder labelled as 377163 has to be copied last, there are duplicate mesh & texture archives that 377160 must be used

Do not delete the Steam Shared Resources folder!

Creation Kit downloads:

download_depot 1946160 1946161 6928748513006443409
download_depot 1946160 1946162 3951536123944501689
Same steps as above, place the files in your fallout 4 directory

It took me 2 days of Googling to come up with an OldGen downgrade, I hope this works for you.

@JB. I read through the link you posted, and it's one of the attempts I used that failed.

It's also not as thorough as what I posted.

I believe that method failed because it left the extra files from AE in place.

I also neglected to mention to make the two manifest files Read-Only after the above.

I mean, to be fair, mods like PRP wouldn't even be necessary if Bethesda hadn't messed up precombines in Fallout 4 (and Starfield) in the first place. I've never had those kinds of issues with Skyrim, or earlier games of theirs. Heck, you could actually add refracting effects to weapons in Skyrim, and apparently you can't in Fallout 4.

As for PRP, I usually just look for an issue that hasn't been covered, and if I come across something annoying enough, then I look for a patch for it, otherwise I just leave it alone. That's a lot easier than spending hours trying to figure out which mods should go first in a load order of around 500+ mods for the sake of something that Bethesda screwed up, like precombines... I mean, that's just my way of dealing with things, apparently some people just have a lot more patience than my ADHD cursed brain has to spare.

Maybe if someone created an A.I. powered sorting tool... or even better, an A.I. powered tool with an added feature that looked for unused resources and removed them from the game folder...

Kinda embarrassed to ask but I've been sifting through comments/replies for two days so here goes. Are any of Nuka-Ride's quests conditional on completing specific earlier quests? Specifically on the Norita Route, can you still get the Dolled Up quest without joining the OB's Harem at the end of We can start A Fire? Or is there another chance for joining the harem later in the game?

I loaded up the AE patch to get the new items for the fun of it, Downgrade tool gave me an error - but running the patch and download seemed to work -was able to log back into a save from before it.   Moved all the creation items into a folder before hand - ran the BA2 patcher on the entire folder then after downgraded moved them back into data folder - seems to be fine.   Used that tool for downgrade/upgrade checking and the only things that are odd are Creation Kit shows as wrong version or not found, same with the archive 2 right below it - not sure what that one is.   Saves load though so game seems to be fine.   I think I will use the ones JB showed to download the NG depots so I have them handy if I want to manually upgrade to 984 as some point (Not AE)

Yes you can still get the dolled up quest. The ob gift it to you for helping in the Nuka club. He also wants you to help with cassius later so yeah you will get all the options except for one extra dress from Kali later. Which the OB only buys for his Bitch

Nuka Ride. This experience is way ahead of it's time. It's what all NSFW visual novels will eventually be in 20 years, when porn are so well written, they outperform mainstream offerings, and get some proper funding.

Anyway.

At what point can one fast travel again in/from NukaRide?

I assume one has to ask permission from the overboss for free-roam, and fast travel get's unlocked?

If one decides not to be the overbosses' bitch, will one be able to fast travel without permission?

(Note, it's understood by me that the no fast travel thing adds the feeling of being invested in Nuka World's own progression, as sort of origin story with homey feel.)

Though, I like flip-flopping between NSFW and SFW content throughout the day, as my wife and son are awake in the afternoon, evening, but I can then play during the night/morning.

Reason why I like using the same save is because I'm a klepto-salvager. I collect EVERYTHING that isn't bolted down, and min-max the gear.  Keeping separate profiles means twice the work.  I like a continuous progression, which is why I wish I could fast travel to the CW during NR, but I also get it needs to validate motorcycles, and vehicles, and dependence on "the boys" for that Bimbo feels.

I suppose, i'm trying to take advantage of a dichotomy between a battle-princess and a bimbo for practical reasons.
