cometfox Posted May 16, 2022 Posted May 16, 2022 So I got to the part with the synths and noticed that the synths I’ve encountered so far have no tail, minus when they’re in the armor but no tail during AAF anims either. Would I be missing a certain file for the synths?Â

I'd have to check but neither AMELIA nor JAVELIN have tails by default in their original versions (they're wearable items instead), so I think BD kept that when adding them to FF4 and thus why they don't have any when they're naked.
Bad Dog Posted May 16, 2022 Author Posted May 16, 2022 I think I thot I was adding tails. I fooled around with their gear. There were multiple lengths of tail and I had some scheme for them.

lightning_strike1 Posted May 18, 2022 Posted May 18, 2022 Question will this work with Fusion Girl, or do you have to use CBBE Reason I ask is I am following the instructions on the AAF Fucking Manual, and Fusion girl seems to be hinted at being the one you should. Go with over CBBE?
Bad Dog Posted May 18, 2022 Author Posted May 18, 2022 Don't worry about fusion girl, this mod works with AAF out of the box. Â I've had requests to use FG as the base model instead, haven't done it yet. Â
lightning_strike1 Posted May 19, 2022 Posted May 19, 2022 Ahh, Okay Well, I already tried using Fusion Girl, and it seems to work fine with your Furry Fallout 4 Mod. So far, if any issues do arise, I will switch to CBBE, however. Also, do you know if there are any pre-made patches for Sim Settlements 2 that are already made and possibly patches for Commonwealth Captives? I thought of making the patches myself, but the Tutorial Seems way too confusing for my limited Modding Knowledge. If not, I can bear with some Humans in the game, but I thought I would ask.
Bad Dog Posted May 19, 2022 Author Posted May 19, 2022 Not unless there's one at the Drive. Try the Discord channel:Â https://discord.gg/VJzTHBYX

The FG body is definitely better if you want to use AAF animations. CBBE somehow also works with AAF, but that knee problem and other things have personally discouraged me from using CBBE. Much more clothing and armor is created for the CBBE body, but that is probably the only benefit. Edited May 19, 2022 by poblivion
Lil_Dovahkitten Posted May 19, 2022 Posted May 19, 2022 Will there be a full proper set of instructions to the script to furrifying NPCs from other mods.. That doesn't require me to use Discord?
Bad Dog Posted May 20, 2022 Author Posted May 20, 2022 Maybe so. I'm thinking to revamp the furrifier scripts so that they work more like a patcher for an entire load order. Open xEdit with your entire load order, run the script, and it makes a patch that furrifies everything. You still have to run facegen but it might be better than trying to track a million patches for different mods. And even if it's not, you can still make a mod-specific patch by loading up just that one mod.

If you do keep in mind the existing script can crash when certain mods (I think ones that add additional character customization options) are installed, so you may need to investigate and fix that issue as well.

Thanks I am guessing that I am suppose to put it underneath Furry Fallout ESP for the replacer to work on the left hand side of MO Just checking because I downloaded the replacer but there is a cut off near the paws around the wrist so not sure if I have it ln the wrong spot on my load order or what.

I do agree that having the Furrifier instructions available in a spoiler the mod description or whatever would be reasonable, but I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss Discord until BD adds the info here. I was one of the people complaining about everything being on Discord now but now I'll be the first one to sing its praises, so to speak, lol. You don't need to interact in any way, and you don't even need the desktop client, you can just use the web client and lurk with a throwaway account. Â Family Planning most likely does not have the required mechanisms to detect the PC's and NPC's races and choose the kid's race accordingly (since vanilla only has humans and nothing else) so best-case scenario you'd make the kids furry but they would never match the parents' races or even the races of their corresponding adult/grown NPCs. In that case fixing this would require rewriting the mod's code to account for this kind of stuff, which would be quite the task. Edited May 20, 2022 by Blaze69
Lil_Dovahkitten Posted May 20, 2022 Posted May 20, 2022 I suppose I could wait and see what all kinds of mods and patches for mods will come out with FFO.. I'm a huge fan of Furries, and just found this mod a couple days ago.. Fell in love with them ^.^Â As for Discord, I must have been silly dumb cause I did a search and I looked and got confused so I left the server.. Was too afraid to even ask.. *blushes*

This is because CBBE hands do not fit the FG body perfectly. When I have more free time, I'll try to do something about it. 1

It's not that big a deal as it's only noticeable when you're looking close thanks for the response, and keep up the excellent work.

Instructions on how to use the Furrifier are available in the #tutorials channel, you just have to scroll up a bit from the latest message since another tutorial was posted afterwards. And if you still have any trouble with the process, feel free to ask.

Have to go through Steam for the Creation Kit ^.^ *excited happy dances for more furry npcs*
JohnDildo12 Posted May 23, 2022 Posted May 23, 2022 I'm still kind of new to getting everything modded, and I'm at a bit of a loss; it's a really small problem but I can't seem to figure out what's causing it. For some reason, when editing my character, the male horse's fur doesn't match his head; it stays locked to white no matter what fur colour is picked. Extra details don't seem to show up either. After you leave character customization though, everything shows as it's apparently supposed to. The same thing happens on the second chance you have to change your character's appearance before leaving the vault; the facial textures stop displaying properly. Â I've tried uninstalling and doing a fresh reinstall, and I've also grouped the FFO mods and set them to be the last plugins that load, but I still can't get the character customization to work properly. The really strange thing is that it only seems to do this for the male horse head; the others esps don't seem to have this problem. I feel like it must be something I'm doing wrong. Â Is there something I'm doing wrong?
Bad Dog Posted May 24, 2022 Author Posted May 24, 2022 Blaze told me there was a problem with the male horse heads, and I fixed it, but maybe it's one of the things that have been nagging at me as why I ought to ship a FO4 update. I'll have a look. Â

I'll have a look. For the record, male lions have that issue as well, and other races could be affected too. Â It's the same deal: the _FaceBones nif is missing the material path, so it doesn't have the "Face" shader flag and thus the game doesn't apply any tints to it because it doesn't know it's supposed to do so. The fix is very easy, just gotta add the material path to the nif, but it still needs to be done. Edited May 24, 2022 by Blaze69
Blaze69 Posted May 24, 2022 Posted May 24, 2022 8 hours ago, JohnDildo12 said: Is there something I'm doing wrong? Nope, as mentioned above it's an issue with some assets missing the required data. It will have to be fixed on BD's end, but the next update (whenever that happens) should take care of it. In the meantime, I'm afraid you'll want to avoid playing as a male horse or lion.
Bad Dog Posted May 24, 2022 Author Posted May 24, 2022 Yeah, I checked them all. IIRC the male lion was the only other one.
