That's a known bug, it's in my todo list.

Try 1.9.3 after I managed to upload. I added a check to IsInCombat() to start a punishment. If punishment is started before combat any damage dealt by the player will still count in the punishment. But starting a punishment should not be possible while in combat.

This is a feature in PAHE to allow leveling according to combat training.

Falling in love is not always related to training. Running away chance when inlove mood is very low, so either you got unlucky or she is very unstable. What the slave says is related to training andn mood, but sometimes their personality will make them do unexpected things. That's a feature of this mod.

And I know this is a design choice, but as user, it would feel better if slaves fall in love automatically when the "I'm falling in love" counter reaches 100, regardless of shock and whatever other mechanics are in play.  We could debate the psychology literature on abusive relationships and such, and I think I could make a strong case, but at the end of the day, I don't really care to, because even if we grant that it would sacrifice some realism, that is often a tradeoff worth making for a game to feel good to play.  

The "Get out of my face" dialogue is not part of DoM. This is not the only conflict we have with generic Skyrim dialogues, we might need to track them down and correct them when possible.

 

Or maybe it is PAHE dialogue and @CliftonJD can check the submission level required to have this line show up.

Fair enough. If she was to at least try and run away, I'd get a message about it and know I needed to do something. Or if I missed it and she escaped after that, that's on me for not paying attention.

 

As it is, the first I know there's an problem is when I get a notification of the new slave count.

As you said, it could be that there is a glitch with the way Skyrim handles those necromancers. I will add some text in the logfile for running away and releasing slaves for next version, so we can get a more usefull logfile.

Quest 2, it's my first headset so I don't know if it's good or not but it's amazing to me. Everything works simple enough and SteamVR apps are much cheaper than anything the oculus store offers so I use it exclusivelly for SteamVR content.

 

From what I've been testing Pahe, Dom, Aygas, HSH works even Furniture framework (with a patch). Filler up, etc.

 

Things that don't work is specially one API that gets an Actor from the mouse pointer, that returns always null, so mods that depend on that will not work.

 

HSH has some features that use that but you can manage without it.

Version 1.9.3 is out for those who want compatibility with PAHE 7.5.9

 

Version 2.0.0 is out for testing with PAHE 8.0.2

 

Changes:

 - MCM option to deactivate debug notifications and log file

 - Check for IsInCombat() before starting punishment so that friendly fire does not trigger a punishment.

 - Corrected chance to be ashamed for slaves when checking their intimate parts and other similar actions. - Only in 2.0.0

I'm still testing and will post here which API doesn't work in VR. It's usually mouse pointer issues (GetCurrentCrosshairRef always returns null in VR), SetVehicle and mostly GUI stuff.

 

Oh and if you get one: You need to WHIP SLAVES.... OMG you got to check that out... it's amazing. It's how it's supposed to be.

Very excited for this version, I'm drafting up a new modlist right now for a new game, and I'll test this out and report back soon. I think this time I'll run without HSH, since I only used it for training and none of the other stuff. I have a feeling it weighs down on savefiles quite a bit. I'll just use thugs for training and AYGAS for selling. :)

hmm did you include the right sources files? no matter what i do i cant get the 2.0 to compile.
for example im trying to add some more name strings for the domgenator file. before it it was just add and compile no issue and it worked fine but for some reason when i go to compile 2.0 i get this error

I take it for the numbered trails, 100 means filly the right hand side trait and 0 means fully the left? (I've been trying to work without looking at the numbers). |If so then yeah, she seems pretty smart.

This is what I use to compile :

"Papyrus Compiler\PapyrusCompiler.exe" "PATH\scripts\source\DOMGenerator.psc" -f="Papyrus Compiler\TESV_Papyrus_Flags.flg" -i="Data\scripts\Source;" -o="PATH\scripts\Compiled"

 

Make sure PAHE is above DoM or installed before if you don't use any mod manager, so that the pahcore.psc file is the one from DoM  not PAHE.

 

Check that in pahcore.psc line 2011 you have:

Faction Property PAHTraitHonest Auto

 

If not, you have the wrong file. Look into the 7z file and make sure it has the right version of pahcore.psc, try to install again.

The thug training is not optimal yet, especially on the graphical side, but I am open to suggestions.

Nice pictures, looks like a hens night turned wrong... Which body/texture is that?

 

I added some logfile output in run_away, escape and break restraints in version 2.0.0

Make sure you have verbose mode (default is false) turned on in DoM MCM and try to reproduce the behaviour where she escapes without notice.

 

I checked the code and iron cuffs are only 50% harder to break than ropes right now. Since she has 84% smart, restraints are only 16% efficient. We can certainly tune iron cuffs higher, but I would prefer to see your logfile part with this information. Look for "PAHDSlaveMind: CanBreakRestraints" and paste the lines here.

Quest 2 is wireless right? How long does the battery last playing Skyrim VR? Also do you need to connect to facebook or to use facebook controller software?

Thanks! Bodies are CBBE 3BA and (I think) Demoniac textures. Faces are a mix of Deadly Wenches and Metalsabre's Vampires.

Can do. With a bit of luck, I'll have a save from just before that last escape happened. So with a bit of luck I can reload that, set the log file and get the info fairly fast.

So 100% smart would mean the  cuffs were 0% efficient? Ouch! I mean Einstein was one smart cookie, but Harry Houdini he wasn't. How'd you feel about making smarts only account for 25% or or even 20% of efficiency? So 100% smarts would make cuffs 80% efficient rather than 100? You'd still need to watch the slaves over the long term, but you'd be able to nip down the road to Windhelm to buy some ingots without having half your stock escape every time.

ill check again when i go do a new skyrim build.

some suggestions
1. add a json system for npc. this way people can just add a npc to the json for them to get ensalved custom stats.
2. are is there any way you can disable some PAHE topics so there not as many chat options.
  right now  i have all the PAHE ones ontop of the DoM topics. so to use the DoM topics i have to go all way to bottom of the list. then once asked i have to go all way to bottom again to get to them.
3. way to save mcm setting. this more qol. but you can check this guys mods to see how to do it if you dont know how to do it

Version 2.0.1 is out. No new version planned before November so you have time to test it thoroughly.

 

This version is to be used with PAHE 8.x

 - Thugs can now tie their slaves or put them in racks (furniture is experimental and random for now)

 - To get slaves outside of tied state ask the thug to gather them.

 - Start to implement a better thug package for punishing, not yet functional, so expect some thugs whipping or locking cuffs in the air.

OK. That didn't work as well as I'd hoped. I loaded from before the fast travel back, turned on Debug and Verbose mode in the MCM, got the notification, checked the logs, and all I have is t his:

Turn on the verbose and debug mode, save, reload, make the bad stuff happen again. In your logfile you should now have a list of the slaves at startup. Make sure she is listed by looking for her name in the log. Then look at all the lines in the logfile with her name and paste them here.

Yes, it can be both wired or wireless.  So far I can't see any difference in quality either way. After all the bottleneck will be the fully modded Skyrim that so GPU/CPU intensive and you need to render two cameras for VR so I ofter play without ENB.

 

I haven't fully discharged the battery playing Skyrim but with HL:Alyx you can play for around 2+ hours (because I don't want to exagerate) and that even while chromecasting to a tv which I bet spends more energy.

 

Regardless I have a powerbank which I can put in my pocket and feed the headset with it and still be wireless.

 

About the Facebook account I guess that's more subjective, they require an account to use it specially for the initial configuration and to install the Oculus software in the PC. I don't even use FB for anything. If doubt they pull something from the PCVR feed, after all that is handled by SteamVR which is not theirs.

 

I guess that the 700 USD cost reduction against a Valve Index was well worth the risk of using FB in my case and is far easier to obtain.

 

Moreover you can replace SteamVR with Open Composite and Oculus Room with an empty room to increase performance (I haven't done yet but I'm going to).

 

You can also reset the headset and change the FB account (I did that). All in all since it's only 300 USD I'm pretty satisfied with it.

 

If anyone buys one, don't spend money on their expensive USB3 cables (because you probably never use it) nor pay for Virtual Desktop because it's no longer needed. It already includes "Air Link" and works perfectly without even a great wireless signal.

Thanks for sharing! I am still partial to the low fov (I believe the quest is 90 degrees). I guess I will still be waiting for the next generation with wireless and fov>=120.

Did that and I'm not seeing the list, which makes me wonder if the script from the old save is locked in. I might do that restart anyway. I'm not that far advanced in this run.

 

I did see that "Conique" there was already dropped off the PAH MCM list on my best save though. So she'd already vanished, no idea when it would have been. I'll try the same start up and capture that same NPC again and see if it replicates.

Sometimes you can just remove the script from the save using resaver. Check for pahcore and DOM_COre scripts

I'll come up with some suggestions once I get there in my game, just finished the Civil War for Stormcloaks and the move now is to enslave all non-Nords, should have some data soon ;)

Is this safe to upgrade mid-game from 2.0? (No slaves at all yet.)
