Could it be you are running into the new bald gene? It will cause character hair to go bald after certain age. (this is new in 1.12.1 base game)

Does hair still work on other characters, or is it only an issue on your character?

The update adds the bald gene? !

I tried to change other people's hairstyles, and no one else had a baldness problem, only the characters I controlled.

 

I tried it again, it seems to be the reason why a facial beautification mod failed, I set the face according to more than 18-30-60-80 ages, but the face did not change, when I shut down the CBO and other mods, let the time run over 900 years, came to 901 years later and loaded the mod again, the hair style no longer appeared bugs. But the facial enhancement also failed.

 

The first and second images are models of the characters in the bald head archive,The third image is a model of the character reloaded with the mod after 901.

Yea, there is a new baldness gene added by the game, i copied it into:

"CBO 1.12.1 Unofficial fix\common\genes\10_genes_special_misc.txt"

 

Maybe you can try remove shaved_baldness, baldness_stage_1, baldness_stage_2 from the gene, so only one that remains is no_baldness

Based on baldness genes, the hair meshes will change to a different one.

Hi, try rename the mod to "CBO" (so rename the folder), then in "CBO 1.12.1 Unofficial fix.mod" change "CBO 1.12.1 Unofficial fix" to "CBO", that should hopefully save you enough characters

Sorry if it's a stupid question but when I use the carnal court make love interaction I can't move the camera because the toggle free camera icon is hidden between the event window.
Is it a problem with my load order or with my brain ?

ok now it keeps crashing and giving me this error which is definitely CBO related since it disappears when I disable it.

[pdx_assert.cpp:619]: Assertion failed: Index >= 0 && Index < GetSize()

I think trying to do what you describe is impossible, because the animations are also converted to the new skeleton. So you would need to use animations based on if you have the unmodded body, or the modded body, which i dont know if even possible. Some of the clothing issues are really because the bones are just at a different place, compared to what the cloths expect.

The other issue is that the blendshapes being higher poly means that blendshapes dont work correctly, when the vertex count is mismatched. The blendshapes work by moving vertex from the position in the orignal, towards the position in the blendshape, but if you have different vertex count, some vertexes wont be moved at all. This was very visible with the no_portrait blendshape some mods used, it would simply not work due to the difference in body.

CBO does not modify the head, so i think Kajiit, Argonians and so on are fine.

There are some body blendshapes, but i did find a way to convert body blendshapes by mixing them, so hopefully that will be enough here as well. (or Khajiit will be low res, or smth)

 

So basically its easier to just convert all the meshes, and generate all the blendshapes for the clothes added by EK2, but it also takes time.

Hello! Thanks for the info. That make sense as you described it (I had no idea). I see you actually just posted the EK2 compatibility patch a little bit ago. You are a legend! I will try it out right now. Thanks for your hard work in getting CBO to work with EK2! You are amazing! :D

Hi, i ran into crashes like that as well, you need to find the actual clothing item that causes the issues.

need to go to "gfx\models\portraits\attachments", and temporarily move the folders from that into a different one, so its not used.

It will likely point to one of the .asset files in those folders being wrong, or something similar. Maybe filenames dont match.

It still gives me the same error it just stops giving me the file that's causing problems lol.

Strange, can you disable all other mods and just have CBO enabled?

Then add the unofficial fix and try that way as well.

 

Its definitely some clothing issue, but maybe the clothing issue comes from a different mod?

Hi, posted in other thread as well, i guess the Unofficial fix is not compatible with PA in this manner, so you need to remove

"CBO 1.12.1 Unofficial fix\gfx\portraits\portrait_modifiers\zzz_weight.txt"

Right now that adds prowess to muscularity.

Ill check it out. (no promises, some of these Asian clothes are really hard to convert)

There is currently a comp patch for ROA (Rajas of Asia), so if you want to play in the far east, you can use that.

Seems like replacing ROA with MB+ "just works"

MB+ uses the exact same clothes, and makes the same gene changes as ROA, so you can use the load order and CBO patch made for ROA with MB+

If you still see naked characters with the ROA patch, let me know.

Thank you, csirke. These patches did work. 

No more naked characters. But the clothes they're wearing are strange.

Hi, that means the patch didnt work :D

That is what it looks like when the clothes are not using the correct skeleton.

 

Can you show your load order?

 

The ROA CBO Patch should have overwritten the .asset files in MB+ and thats how it should show correct clothing.

 

Ill probably also make some specific patches for MB+, as the ROA Patch only covers clothing, but maybe MB+ changes the character DNAs

When using the Carnal Court Make Love interaction, im not seeing any animations, though the rest of the mod seems to be working fine; Am I just missing something?

Oh, when arranging the load order with CBO after MB+, you should check something:

When I did this, the carnal court scenes got stuck in the far eastern court, whenever I used the 'carnal court make love' decision. Though, my court was never of the far eastern kind. Because of that, I put MB after CBO. Since I never played in the far eastern region, the no clothes bug there, caused by the order with MB+ after CBO, was tolerable.

Make sure you use corrent Carnalitas version, need 2.5 for unofficial fix 1.6+
