Sorry, don't see what could be causing from this, not sure if maybe someone else has better ideas. I guess you can try go to barber shop, and look through all the clothes, and stuff like that, see if you can cause a crash by that.

 

There is this error message:

Consider changing install path to something shorter

 

But then not sure if it would actually cause a crash or not. I dont see the same error message in my logs, so maybe its the cause.

Can you disable CBO and check if the hair is still weird?

 

Oh, ya know what. Uninstalling the file and then reinstalling it seems to of fixed the issue. Should of deleted the old file first before putting in the new one.

You should check the error log after trying this out, and see if this message related to path is too long is still there

Thanks friend, I tried it and it keeps crashing. The truth is, I think it's my PC. Before Legends of the Dead, I could play normally. Now, I honestly don't know what's happening, but I thank you for the help. :D

Hello Mange2020! Do you, (or anyone else) know if there is a way to make this mod work easily with the Elder Kings 2 Mod (EK2), by only having the Character Body Overhaul (CBO) unique blendshape bodies appear when you are flagged in game as "naked"? Or also when if you toggle/choose to wear the naked/underwear outfits that come with CBO in the barbershop selection? So that at least we could get nudity to work with the Elder Kings 2 mod without having to blendshape all the Elder Kings 2 mod clothing to fit the CBO unique blendshape bodies. Is there a trigger or flag that could be added somewhere in the CBO mod code that would only refer to the CBO bodies when naked?

 

Essentially the default vanilla bodies (or whatever bodies EK2 uses), would be what is used under the unique mod clothing or standard clothing in the Elder Kings 2 mod, but then when you switch to the "naked" or "underwear/thong" outfits, the character's body would show the CBO nude body mesh values for penis/balls/vagina/boobs/butt/muscles/body/etc. I know the CBO body is a different blendshape with higher poly counts and different bones from the default CK3 body, and that this would essentially make the character's butt and/or breasts and body "bust out" when naked like "Bloaty's Pizza Hog", since the game would be referring to a non vanilla body when naked (the CBO body), and when clothed, the game would be referring to the vanilla bodes that are under the clothing... but this would be better than nothing IMO for being able to get nudity to work in EK2 without having to blendshape all the EK2 clothing to work and fit around the CBO body mesh/bones etc.

 

I wish I could figure this out myself, but I have no clue what I would have to do to get this to work. I tried to get an understanding of the code in the mod txt files but I'm at a loss, I have know idea how it would have to be written to get it to work. Also in the EK2 mod the Kajiit, Argonians, Orcs, and Elves have unique head shapes (as do other races I'm sure), and I am not sure if CBO uses a unique head mesh or belndshape combined with the body, or if it's only just the body blendshapes that are changed in CBO. So CBO heads might conflict with EK2 heads, and would have to be ignored (if that makes sense).

 

So, is there a way to make EK2 Clothed bodies, and CBO naked bodies work together without to much complicated blendshape clothing work?

I started working on EK2 compatibility a few days ago, will take a few more days, there are a lot of meshes to convert (i just finished converting dunmer).

 

I think trying to do what you describe is impossible, because the animations are also converted to the new skeleton. So you would need to use animations based on if you have the unmodded body, or the modded body, which i dont know if even possible. Some of the clothing issues are really because the bones are just at a different place, compared to what the cloths expect.

The other issue is that the blendshapes being higher poly means that blendshapes dont work correctly, when the vertex count is mismatched. The blendshapes work by moving vertex from the position in the orignal, towards the position in the blendshape, but if you have different vertex count, some vertexes wont be moved at all. This was very visible with the no_portrait blendshape some mods used, it would simply not work due to the difference in body.

CBO does not modify the head, so i think Kajiit, Argonians and so on are fine.

There are some body blendshapes, but i did find a way to convert body blendshapes by mixing them, so hopefully that will be enough here as well. (or Khajiit will be low res, or smth)

 

So basically its easier to just convert all the meshes, and generate all the blendshapes for the clothes added by EK2, but it also takes time.

CBO 1.8.4

CBO 1.12.1 Unofficial fix

 

If you have CBO installed, then try reinstall it, as it seems to be missing files.

 


For the record, the files and everything were present and I had cleanly reinstalled the mod multiple times, the fix for my issue was simply not using CBO 1.8.4, I have the last major version prior to it and everything works fine with that version but for some reason, regardless of what I do, 1.8.4 will not load correctly.

I think maybe something got damaged there, is the size of the folder around 4GB for CBO 1.8.4 uncompressed for you? (4 043 061 061 bytes)

I guess the risk with using older version, is that African clothing pack will be missing, so if you have that DLC i guess try disable it. Not sure if there were other clothes added since earlier version.

I'm new to modding. I just wanted to play with a few mods, but I've been puzzling over this problem for half a day now. The game starts, loads, and right before the main screen appears, the game crashes. Help please

Hi,

 

Not sure there is a better way to do this, then disable some mods, and see what is the mod you need to disable for it to work.

Few things i can note.

 

You should move better barbershop to the end, just in case.

You dont need CFP + EPE compatibility patch, as that is already included in CFP+EPE CBO Patch

Did you make sure each of the mods you added have been updated for the newest version of CK3? 1.12.1 is a big chnage that broke many mods. (Also, why does your list have two instances of my mod at spot 17? You haven't got two copies running at once do you?)

it's 2 pics, i checked modes and еhe gamerule gadget mod caused a crash, although it worked fine when cbo and carnalities were disabled

Yo! I'm using this mostly for the clothing for women, amazonian warriors or whatever. However, for both genders the muscle definition nor the weight adjusting is working for me. everything else is working fine it seems. Ruler creation nor a started game barbershop do traits or the adjuster add or take a way any affect to muscle and weight.

 

Using at the bottom of other mods, Barbershop, Carn, CBO, and CBO barbershop Extension. I've only the FLC, Northern Lords, Royal Court, and Tours DLC.

1.12.1+ what? For a mod or base game? I have spent literally all night trying to set this shit up lol. It is early morning for me, and I am about to get some rest. I have seen load order recommendations and the unofficial patch showing up, but could never find the download for it.

Can you elaborate on how you solved your hair problem? I also had problems with my hair not matching my head model and any hairstyle looking like I was going bald. Also, my game remained normal until the end of the year 900, but the moment it ended on December 31, 900, and opened on January 1, 901, there was a hair bug.

Fixed and working perfectly now, thank you very much for the assist! I will post again once I hit year 900 to see if I also run into a hair asset issue like others have recently posted about

It seems that the new clothes from the DLC cause crashes whenever I mouse over them in the barbershop, is there any fix for this yet?
I have all the patches for CBO and I've confirmed that muslim enhancements isn't the cause.

Hi, Can you attach an error.log?

I think i did have crashes on mouse over while I still didnt have all the meshes converted. I just checked, that if the path is too long for a mesh, its not loaded, so the original will be used.

Maybe your issue is also that the filenames are too long.

 

I guess what you can try, is rename the CBO 1.12.1 Unofficial fix folder to like CBO, then in CBO 1.12.1 Unofficial fix.mod, also change the path to reflect this, and check again.

 

Does it crash on male or female? Do you know, which entry? Like 2nd, 3rd or smth?
