Hello, I have encountered a strange problem. When I first triggered one of the window sex animations or court sex animations, it was effective, but when I used another form of animation, it didn't work. It seemed like I could only use the same form of animation all the time, which troubled me. I used Carnalitas 2.4 and CBO 1.8.4 versions, and also used a 1.12.1 fix patch.

Can you share the error.log (there is a logs folder next to the mod folder, and its in there)? I would guess some Carnalitas issue, but i think i made it so that both window sex animation and cour sex animation uses same code.

Do you have issues with characters not re-dressing after the sex event? Maybe some data is not cleaned up.

HERE. This time I started a new game where I searched for a spouse and had sex in two ways. The window displayed normally, but the court sex option did not respond. By the way, strangely, the animation in the window did not take effect either.

Hi, thanks for the log, first thing is that its not supposed to be 84MB

Can you try reinstall Carnalitas? Delete the folder, and then copy it there again, it has some strange complaints that i think should not happen.

 

Like for example:

[00:43:31][jomini_effect.cpp:137]: PostValidate of effect 'create_character_memory' returned false at file: common/scripted_effects; carn_had_sex_with_effect line: 6997
[00:43:31][jomini_script_system.cpp:278]: Script system error!

The file carn_had_sex_with_effect  doesnt have 7000 lines on Carnalitas 2.4, but it does have 7000+ line on Carnalitas 2.2.

So maybe you have old Carnalitas, or somehow the 2 versions got merged, but seems like a Carnalitas issue to me.

Hello, is there a way to disable the animations and its event-related (carnalitas) features of the mod? (Just nude models and clothes would be lovely)

No 2.2 didn't had carn_had_sex_with_effect... that is from 2.3 

That is what I feared the most, people just don't care and install what ever mods they have, and if it works it works...

I will take the blame for that one then.. must have been my upload of early buggy version of CBO sex conversion will go delete it that mod. 

 

Also he should upgrade to 2.4 Slavery Expansion. it has been posted. 

 

Nevermind going to be carnalitas 2.5 and have to upgrade slavery expansion to 2.5 lmao.

Hi, you need to ignore the load order said in the mod page, and just load Better Barbershop at the end of your load order. Maybe try put it as the very last item, it needs to be able to overwrite the gui file "window_barbershop.gui"

 

Also, i think you have some mods there that are not up to date, like CBO Community Patch, CBO Animation Pack, CBO Animation Pack Overh..., CBO+ Animations. Not sure if they are supposed to work still.

i have issue with barber screen window cut off and cant scroll , bcuz of cbo . i tried placing better barbershop above cbo. Tried using cbo betterbarber shop extended as well . problem still persists. my load order is shown in the attached picture . Anyone help me sort out issues. I'm using ck3 1.12.1 .

First of all thank you so much for replying.

 

i understand those mods are for previous version of the game. my games been updated and my games running fine . its just the barber screen getting cropped. tried different load order for it but still its getting cropped. keep me updated if you find solution. if the barber screen getting cropped is bcuz of the outdated mods i will simply disable all those mods and try. thank you once again.

since u r using way too many mods and i am pretty sure some mods are not at all compatible with each other. yet if ur satisfied with urs load order. i can only provide u a brute force method to find the problem. disable all mods apart from Barbershop. check if its working fine. then start enabling 2-3 mods at a time and checking whether it still works.  would take about 30-45 min in good configuration and judging the way u r using mods, u got one . but it will Definitely point out urs problematic mod

Hi, the conflicts in CK3 modding get resolved by the files being overwritten by the last mod that modified the file with same name. After that some priority gets taken into account, to resolve conflict between files with different names, but those that modify the same functionality.

 

I think for barbershop gui, it can only be set in window_barbershop.gui. but maybe you have some other mods that do somehow influence this.

I dont think its CBO thats responsible, as it doesnt modify the barber shop gui, so you might have to trial and error disabling the other mods, see which one causes the issue.

i could use your opinion if u have any suggestion to make for my load order. i tried to follow mod page instructions for load order. currently my load order after issues being resolved. Thing i did here is downloaded the better barbershop manually .

Hi, that should be fine there, there was a conflict with CBO and better barbershop, but the unofficial fix fixed that, so you can load Better Barbershop after.

CBO Vanilla is only needed if you want characters to not have wider shapes (big breast, big hips, and so on), that is they should resemble vanilla characters more.

first of all , all the non carnalitas based mods, i have no idea what should their load order be as i hardly use 1 or 2 from urs list. after all the non-carnalitas mod, carnalitas, character body overhaul , cbo vanilla, cbo unofficial patch, then rest of the mods as per u like. also cbo community patch is no longer required. , any animation pack is not upto date (might cause error), coetus anima might also be problematic (have not been updated in a while), same for daughter of lust. they might cause problem. better barbershop is supposed to go last. i personally use just before carnalitas.

i don't think thr is any scope for any sexual mod, u have pretty much got them all . non-carnalitas ones , epe, cfp,rice, viet, unofficial patch,beautiful females, congential beauty, house tradtition, better ai education, councilor exp traits,desingate heir, that's my list. epe, cfp require patches to be compatible with other mods , read their description before start using them.

its that you have to manullay download and mod order is what i have already posted before.

Just downloaded the mod, as well better barbershop and the better barbershop CBO extension and the hair doesn't appear properly, like it's not fitting on the head properly. Not exactly sure what I'm blindly missing.

Hi, as far as i know, CBO has no effect on the head, only on the body. Barbershop should not have an effect like that either.

Can you disable CBO and check if the hair is still weird?

Hello, thank you very much for answering I already reinstalled carnalitas and cbo, I also put the fixes but it keeps crashing, I don't know if it's my pc or just another error, I'll post the error.log but I don't know if it has a solution, anyway, thank you very much for answering (my pc it has a gtx 1650 super i5 9400f and 16gb ram)
