LuciferButtSex Posted February 20, 2021 Posted February 20, 2021 So I'm pretty much on the verge of giving up on this. I've been trying to solve this problem for 3 days with zero success. It's kind of a bummer because this is the most stable mod build I've ever made, except for this single issue. At first I thought it was a conflict with Defeat because it only affects enemy NPC's but I ruled that out by uninstalling Defeat and running in with the MassMatchMaker gangbang spell. Neutral and friendly NPC's ALL have Schlongs in all their glory. I have 3 saves I've been testing new mods on, one in the Alternate Start (this is the base save where I will eventually begin my playthrough from), one in Dragons Reach, and one just outside of Fort Greymoor. The Schlongs work fine on any friendly NPC and the PC, however on nearly all enemy NPC's they vanish, every so often there is a random enemy NPC that has a schlong, but it's only about 10% of the time. I know that Schlong of Skyrim-Core.esm is supposed to be as close to the front of the load order as possible, and every load order I've seen has things like CBBE and XPMSE after SOS. I've tried reinstalling all related mods like CBBE, XPMSE, and Schlongs itself per the instructions on the mod page. I even tried creating a seperate profile in Vortex and reinstalling the mod list one by one but that build didn't have schlongs from the start, even on the PC. So I'm thinking it's definitely a problem with the load order, so here it is. Thanks in advance for the help.

ILLU510N Posted February 25, 2021 Posted February 25, 2021 I see you are using TAWOBA Remastered by Sun Jeong. You need to start a new game (new as in start from the begining not a "cleaned" save). It is written on the page from whence you downloaded the mod. I had this problem before and found that the solution listed by her is the only solution. Also, why have you turned the CBBE 3BBB.esp off?
belegost Posted February 25, 2021 Posted February 25, 2021 I encounter this occasionally on random NPC's, doesn't matter if they're friendly on enemy. By "occasionally" I mean once in a blue moon. What happens is either they still have underwear when stripped or, more commonly, there is a huge gap where the schlong ought to be as if the whole model is missing. Best I can tell it's the script that applies the schlong going haywire for the given NPC and not anything that has to do with load order, and a lot with how many scripts are initialised when entering location. If you have schlongs appear on other characters, it means you most likely did everything right. The only method I found to deal with it is either disable/enable NPC through console (only works if they still wear underwear) or leave area and let the NPC reset by itself (if there's a gap). Alternatively, you can force update and reinitialise SOS through MCM and see if that helps. Best do it in interior cell with no other NPC's around, then fast travel. Reloading the game and entering the cell/location through load door again might also sometimes help. I've messed around with different mods, including Sun Jeong's and I can confidently say that, contrary to what the poster above me says, whether you use it on new game or install it on an already existing save doesn't matter for this particular issue, so this is not a source of the problem. Also SOS does not rely on FNIS, it is not an animation mod, so FNIS log is not necessary. 1
mouton18 Posted February 26, 2021 Posted February 26, 2021 Did LOOT give you a lot or error, also the SOSRacemenu plugin should load later, its integrated in XP32 also 3bbb.esp mod uploading its asset without having its esp enable is an issue because it touches malegenitals.xml and malebody.xml Furthermore if you have the issue with a named npcs rather than a generated one, you could always peak in xedit, sometimes armor addon problem are obvious
Grey Cloud Posted February 26, 2021 Posted February 26, 2021 There's noting obviously wrong with the load order and Vortex is not displaying any error signs. (I'm assuming you are using Vortex's autosort which is fine) Have you tried a manual 'deploy'? Do you have a male NPC overhaul installed?

FYI/FWIW If you're able to target an NPC (Not monsters! but humanoids ie nord, elf, orc, etc) , you can usually just open the SOS MCM , assign a schlong and size, then exit. However, having said that, you'll also need the ability to "force-undress" them if an animation has begun, because when a schlong *type* is changed, an NPC is automatically redressed. PS> my experience matches your overall, as does my presumption about "why". 1
Grey Cloud Posted February 26, 2021 Posted February 26, 2021 Do you mean that there is a space in the groin where the schlong should be? Have you looked to see if they have a schlong when not doing sex? Is it certain races or all races? When this happens try opening the console and clicking on the character. Once his info is on screen look to the bottom right as it usually tells you which mod was the last to change him. I'm stumped as to why it is only hostile NPCs. The only explanation for that which I can see would be a mod setting. Have you tried with hostile creatures?

FWIW In my case, it is either "no schlong" and/or they are marked as being female and are assigned the "pubic hairs for SOS" (from a mod). Any "normal" Human-like: nord, orc, redgauard, elven, etc randomly, so aside from creatures all the default races. As far as I know, creatures and humanoids are managed differently. the first by SOS, the second by Creature framework. I'm also puzzled that it only affects hostiles for the OP (it can affect any (edit: male) NPC for me, even named characters) but thought it was a bit "unimportant" to address. Possibly the OP sees it in defeat situations, which are *usually encountered with bandits/badguys, and which are spawned routinely due to their routine and numerous deaths (at least if they encounter my player) .

PS> my experience matches your overall, as does my presumption about "why". I actually routinely see a missing schlong on one bandit from the camp under Whiterun. Doesn't matter what load order, profile or character I use, whenever I have an "encounter" with them, one of them, (and usually only one) ALWAYS has a gap, no matter how many are there. I never bothered checking what is his race tbh, and since I have zero mods that edit bandits or bandit camps I am pretty sure the guy is vanilla. I also had missing schlongs on Thalmor, had it once with Ancano and once with one of the guards accompanying Odolemar in Markarth. But this happens so rarely that I learned to live with it and just ignore it.
anjenthedog Posted February 28, 2021 Posted February 28, 2021 Ok.... Well, when you encounter these repeatably "broken" NPCs, if it matters to you, I'd recommend what I suggested. Target them, then use SOS to fix them. If you do that before any animation begins, they should operate correctly. If you're able to target them before the animation starts but are unable to complete the fix before the animation begins, then you'll also need to be able to force strip them since changing their schlong type will force an auto redress. At least they do for me. And at least for named NPCs, they seem to hold whatever I set them to for all future time, Honestly, I think chasing load orders on this is a waste of your time. It's usually a glitch in gender and genital assignment, which is (AFAIK) SOS's job. (unless of course the whole shebang has gone off the rails and no one is being assigned them) one of the submenus in SL, as well as the Eager NPCs MCM will identify the assigned gender, and Eager NPCs allows you to manually set their gender and gender pref if you want (or for that matter, your own if an animation sequence and SL/EagerNPCs/FG/whatever changes yours to fit the animations sequence and the role it assigned you for that animation). Unlike MNC, where you can do some global resets, I do not believe SOS provides such a sweeping reset of genital and gender. Like I said, I've seen this glitch on Nords, Elves, Orcs, Bretons, Argonians, and Redguard (I think that covers stating the standard humanoid races). I don't know why it happens, but I suppose SOS glitches during assignment, or as I noted earlier, the NPC in question is often found to have been assigned female gender, and genital assignment failed (for whatever reason) PS> where's "the camp under Whiterun"? The closest camp I know of is either the one located East of Whiterun on the other side of the river (white river watch) or the bandit camp NW of whiterun (Halted Stream)
Domilexiste Posted May 15, 2021 Posted May 15, 2021 Wish I could use TAWOBA Remastered but I just found out after going through my mods it caused me the exact same issue. deactivating it fixed it right away.
judge007 Posted June 22, 2021 Posted June 22, 2021 Using Gender assignment mods like Masculinized Level Lists and Sons of Skyrim Only will contribute to this. The Guards/Bandits/whatever NPC that was a woman previously, is STILL a woman and will equip panties from Tawoba. Which will cause the "underwear" bug and the "holy crotch syndrome" If you apply KYWD "SOS_Revealing" to Armors with script "AT - Quickchange" in SSEEdit, it will prevent this. Other option is NPCs added by mod are in a different Race. There are a couple of tutorials in xEdit thread on site AFKMods, that deal with the Race issue. I believe there was a post in the LE Schlongs of Skyrim support thread as well. To make it worse, a Bashed Patch will undo all the above fixes if the correct Bash Tags are not in mods plugin. https://github.com/fireundubh/xedit-scripts/tree/master/all has the GenerateBashTags script for SSEEdit that will deal with that. Hope this helps
severed1 Posted July 10, 2024 Posted July 10, 2024 Hey, dunno if you've ever fixed this but it's TAWOBA, 100%. In the FOMOD I believe there's an option to have the armors appear on NPCs. If they appear on a male NPC, it will appear as the normal vanilla male armor, but the body won't have a schlong. Either you wanna dump the mod or reinstall with the options to have them on NPCs disabled. If you just want revealing outfits on female NPCs there are good vanilla replacers for revealing outfits and armor that don't have the same issue. I struggled with this one for months but removing TAWOBA fixed the issue. Once I read the OP I looked for TAWOBA in the load order and there it was. Now, onto my own issue I'm trying to fix T_T
