nickcrazy Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 So I've been browsing the internet for adult mods to sims 3 because lets face it, you will find it boring in a week or so after getting it. Â To my surprise, none of the big known adult mod sites for sims 3 have anything that is any good. Since I want to get into modding, I want to try creating a adult mod similar to Joker's Animations where the sex interaction could get sims to position themselves correctly and have decent animation alignment with even an option to have another sim tag in to make it a threeway. Not only making something that could do everything joker's animations could do but also add some new interactions such as a rape social action. This action would have the sims engage in a fight where a grey cloud of dust covered the fighting but instead of the winner standing victorious, if the sim who initiated the fight wins, a random sex act will occur just like the normal sex. Rape though will only be an option to certain sims with the right characteristics such as evil or insane. Â I've never modded any sims games but I wanna really try and make this a reality. I would also greatly appreciate any feedback and help with this idea.
cereburn Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 I suspect it's just me, but I'd like to see a version of SIMS where you can get sexed up by a werewolf(willing or not) and then get preggers with puppies.

Well, technically it isn't modding, it's called "hacking" and that is for a reason. So unless you know what you are doing, this is a pretty huge undertaking. I think it boils pretty much down to xml coding and hex editing stuff, as there are no tools or easy to use SDKs, like the ones from Bethesda, out there. Â I'm not saying this to dishearten or demotivate you. I'd love to see some Joker/Chris Hatch "Tits&Arse" stuff for the Sims 3 as well. Â (FYI, all that stuff does exist for TS2)

I'd love to see some Joker/Chris Hatch "Tits&Arse" stuff for the Sims 3 as well.  (FYI, all that stuff does exist for TS2)  Yeah, modding Sims 2 is incredibly hard and confusing - not so much creating a piece of clothing perhaps, but definitely when it comes down to bhavs, triggering animations, making options pop up when you click on something/someone etc, and I hear it's even harder for Sims 3. We may curse the Geck or whatever, but the tools Bethesda has given us are a thousand times easier and more intuitive than those that exist for Sims games. It's not impossible, but it's not for everyone. Â
BruceWayne Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 And even if you "kind of" know what you are doing, the debugging process must be a pain in the ass, as it takes really long to fire up the game, even with decent specs. Not to mention the gazillion different combinations of expansion/stuff packs and patches that have to be considered or the fact that there can be only one "core" mod for the sims 3. Â Although, there are a considerable amount of (animated) poses and some of the "uber" cracks (like Pescado or the guy(s) over at NRaas) have included new interactions/autonomy/BHAVs. So there might be coming something after all. While it hasn't any animations, the "woohooer", in combination with the "Kama Simtra" allows for autonomous romantic interactions, as well as a "woohoo" skill book entry with perks and the likes. Who knows, soon enough we could get those rape mods. :3 Â ... and by soon enough... year or two probably. T_T Â Edit: Oh, and what do you mean? Care to explain what your plans are for the re-work? Am I actually going to have to get the sims 3 now? XD
Asariphile Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Well I dont have any plans for a rework, but the author said others are free to pull the mod apart however they like and do what they want with it. Â He said on the mod description that he designed it as a jumping off point for others to do bigger better things.
DrLincoln Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 Yeah, sims 3 modding is tough, as it isn't designed to be modded. There's a few, very talented, driven individuals who've made Sims 3 at least 'tolerable' for me. I can only imagine what the game might have been if it were as easy to mod as is Skyrim, fallout 3/nv, or Oblivion.
