Modding would be really nice for this game since the p4g models are of disappointing quality due to the game's age.

id say it looks a lot better than the ones on ps2 considering they look a lot better than the models from persona 4 golden, which was a port of a ps2 game

I heard that people modded Warriors Orochi https://www.nexusmods.com/warriorsorochi4/mods/1 [By 3DM posted by Terry13143] which uses a similar system(although likely outdated), unfortunately this system is for Warriors Orochi or at least only registers that game, I am unsure how much effort it would take to make this applicable to P5S.

 

I hope Mods come soon, I heard someone on Twitter as already managed to mod in outfits.

so i guess the route of extracting and repacking files is completely unviable, since the games model and texture files arent packed together and dont have file names, just hashes.

this would mean that modding would probably require figuring out how to use 3dmigoto to change textures and edit models

 

if you want to try doing file editing instead of 3dmigoto, you could ask @DeathChaos25 on twitter more about modding since they seem to have some information but uh, maybe dont mention what website you came in from considering they seem to blame us for the game being hard to mod in the first place

Yikes, so it seems, I mean Loverslab also has normal mods but I can see the problem. I am surprised he hasn't released his modding tools yet.

That sounds pretty dumb. LL isn't the only adult modding website. Maybe LL is one of the more well known of the sites but we do have other forums as well as bloggers, Patreon users, and other such sources scattered around. Playing the blame game instead of sticking together as modders. SMH what toxic attitude...

 

I also can't help but be pissed at KT and Atlus for this behavior. I would understand if they had issues with people making money off of their content like those paid mods and stuff that uses their assets but other than that, they should have known Rule 34 already. Even Disney can't escape from it, why do they think their own IP can't be subject to it?

 

Anyway, if people want to learn about 3DMigoto to try and mod this game, there was a tutorial in the DOAXVV 3DMigoto thread. You can try watching that once you find it and try to message the modders there for help if you're lost. I'd love to do it myself but I don't have the skill nor time to mod a game.

It is more because of how fucking greedy KOEI Tecmo is. They think that the existence of mods can decrease the sales of their overpriced DLCs.

Also don't underestimate the influence of Western view on KT. They wanted to change how people view their games to gain broader audience (By abandoning the core audience, essentialy a foolish move), so fanservice, sexy mods, and NUDE MODS are a big no-no! See the DOAX "portrayal of woman" localization fiasco and the reduction of DOA 6 fanservices.

The one good hope is that this game will be moddable, preferably nude mods for the girls. DOAXVV, DOA5LR, and DOA6 all have nude mods, so even if Koei Tecmo were against mods, there's a chance that this game will have them anyways.

I mean once we have our regular mods, you can have your H mods afterwards and by then once we have our normal mods out the tools will exist for you guys as well ig, in the end everyone wins besides weird puritans. But for now lets stick to normal mods.
