Apparently not foreseeing this problem rising again, I didn't actually mention how exactly I fixed it. All I said was "I changed my load order". So now I'm stuck in this same problem again and can't remember for the life of me how I fixed it. Here's the load order for reference. Do you have crash fixes and enb boost installed?

Overhaul ETAC touches a lot of vanilla exterior nav mesh and should be moved down in LO, more bandit camps should be loaded before ETAC. If you use MO and or just know what your with your Mod Manager, move ETAC down real low. Above any patches and Alt Start, below everything else. I have 257 plugins(esp/esm) Etac in my load order is at 239, pretty low in load order.  Â

Do you have crash fixes and enb boost installed? Anywhere near exterior Falkreath, be it in the city proper or on the road to it. The border is about maybe twenty yards from the gates. I can get in and out of the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary no problem but if I walk over the hill, CTD.  As for mod manager, like I said last time I use the community NMM still because Vortex has an awful UI.  So I'm gonna try what you said and load ETaC down near the bottom and move Legacy just above it. We'll see how that goes.

What do you have that changes the looks of Falkreath (a Guard overhaul for instance) that wouldn't necessarily impact other towns? Bearing in mind that the MOD might affect other areas as well although the mesh/texture is probably unique to Falkreath.

There is, as you know, no stable outside Falkreath in the vanilla game.

Probably do the same for meshes? You can always rename them back. you would go to data/textures and rename it temporarily there.Â

Sometimes i wish that I had used NMM,at least for a small time. I still use NMM. It is as close to not using a mod manager as possible while still using one. That means, for both good and ill, whatever issues I have are caused by me and not by my mod manager (or my not knowing everything there is to know about my mod manager which amounts to the same thing).

There is a mod that replaces guard armors that... might do it? But I can see and wear their armor outside of Falkreath no problem. And as for the stable for ETaC, I've used ETaC for a while without a problem and I have no clue if it's dropped that stable on top of something another mod puts there.

Look at your load order it is a recipe for game issues. Make a plan on how you want the game to look mod accordant to that without over-writing mods it will save you a shit load of headaches.Â

So out of a possible max 255 plug-ins one fifth would be patches. ?  Also somewhat ironic that Falkreath appears to be one of the few settlements which doesn't have two different mods overhauls working on it.  On 12/16/2020 at 5:49 PM, Heroine of the Night said: That and renaming texture/meshes folder in data, Surely if you take out the meshes folder nothing would show up in game? If you fast travel to Falkreath your horse moves to this stable. Would be the first for me to deactivate. Before I install a mod I check it for stuff like extra chest, cave, horse etc. changes in worldspace. This I kick out in xedit. I don't need a chest with the first set of armor. I get it with additemmenu. This is due to the bad experience I made with stuff in a mod changing worldspace.

If the latter then why are they only now causing a problem? If there was a horse being ridden it would fast travel to every location with the rider. Why then would Falkreath be the only problem area?
