Demonwise Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 So apparently all of a sudden out of the blue I can't access the map without causing the game to instantly crash. Obviously this can and will be a severe nusence. If anyone has any ideas as to how to fix it please let me know. The only thing that I could think of that would have caused it would be the Darnified interface that I had installed but that hasn't given me problems in the past. I deactivated it but the problem is persisting. I am running my game on Windows 7 and I know that it is fully updated, the game I mean. I will include the load order if that will help. myuhinny Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Have you recently installed anything new? I had something similar on my skyrim game awhile back. I installed a mod called all mannequins looks like you. If I tried to open my map and they were anywhere in my vicinity/same cell it was a instant ctd. I ended up dumping the mod. So you might want to check to see by turning any new mods off that you recently added to the game then load the game back up and check the map again to see if it was fixed. If that works then install 1 back at a time till you find the culprit causing it.
Demonwise Posted March 29, 2013 Author Posted March 29, 2013 hmmm. I just re-installed Oblivion and have been systematically trying to re-install all my lover's mods. I don't have any new mods installed that I haven't had installed before without problems. Could it be from not having a mod installed that would be required by another installed mod?
myuhinny Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 I'm not sure haven't played Oblivion in awhile so I'm not sure what mods need what and what mods cause conflicts. Have you checked the Papyrus log that is a must as it will show you everything leading up to the ctd and can tell you what caused it.

Demonwise Posted March 30, 2013 Author Posted March 30, 2013 So three things. 1. deleting the ini file in the My Documents folder didn't help. 2. When looking over the post provided by gregathit, which I am familiar with because I always end up back there reading it over again, the load order spoiler is not visible. I don't know if that is some glitch or my browser or what. It has happened before and seems to resolve itself on its own but for right now I can't see the recommended load order. 3. I'm going to start a clean fresh new game and see if the problem is still persisting. EDIT: Scratch number 2. My own stupidity was hampering me for a moment. I will check over the load order and see if I can clean some stuff up.

From LoversStopCombatEx.esp down to LoversSlaveTrader.esp, these esps don't appear on the sample load order, unless I overlooked them, so I haven't moved them. The same can be said for LoversMotionsNT, FuroGeneratorTrap, and TamagoDischarge. So I left them where they were as well. If someone knows where these esps would be better placed please let me know. Demonwise Posted March 31, 2013 Author Posted March 31, 2013 Well ok, I have good news. The map is working now. That just leaves one other problem. My 1st person camera perspective and skeleton are corrupted for some reason. I have been in communication with Emily, as far as I can tell it is because I activated an esp that I should not have that was associated with a centaur race mod that was required for her monster mod. The problem is that even after I disabled the esp and the esm for the centaur mod it continues to show my 1st person camera from the perspective of a centaur and corrupts the 1st person skeleton. I have already tried to replace the skeleton but that hasn't helped.
gregathit Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 When you replaced the skeleton did you replace both 3rd person and 1st person? In other words, did you fully install growlf's universal skeleton (the controllable version) and did you archive invalidate via bsa redirection?

gregathit Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Try starting a new game and see if the camera is correct. If a new game works then your issue is the saved game.
Demonwise Posted March 31, 2013 Author Posted March 31, 2013 Nope tried a new game. Actually another funny thing and I wonder if this is connected. When I start the game, at the main menu I get a pop up in the upper left corner of the screen that says "Playable Centaurs now active." This is the mod that made the problem to begin with. However, I am confused why the game would think that the mod is still active even though the esm and the esp are disabled.
gregathit Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 If that is popping up then you have not properly disabled it. Completely remove the esm and esp files from your game folder. Additionally check that you did not accidentally include it into your bashed patch (if you have one)! EDIT: If that fails then you probably should delete all of the esm\esp files for the monster girl plugin and reinstall making sure to only install the ones you need. If that still does not work then completely remove all moster girl stuff and then try it.
Demonwise Posted March 31, 2013 Author Posted March 31, 2013 well great.... now for some reason I can't start a new game. If I choose "New Game" then it goes to the loading screen and goes through the loading and then right when it finished the whole game crashes to the desktop.
gregathit Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 That typically is caused by missing master files. Make certain you disabled all COC stuff.
Demonwise Posted March 31, 2013 Author Posted March 31, 2013 fully disabled everything associated with the monstergirl-coc mod. The game is still crashing to the desktop. I even rebuilt the bashed patch making sure that nothing to do with that mod was included.

Disable LoversSTVictims.esp and you should be able to start right up.
