They aren't pointless or useless, they're actually pretty damn cool and/or funny. Case in point, the Obnoxious Cicada. So I thought I'd start this thread. Thoughts?
Kaningga Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Permision to join in I think it would be a Custom Race mod, which can be found in http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/35196. You can customize your own, and your companion's body and skin, you can use it with Sexout, make Boone as an old man, etc. Feel the joy of choosing and making your unique tattoo to be implemented in your character only... It's not perfect though, there are still some issue, like the purple hand, minimum amount of hair mod that is integrated in the mod. So far I only found Ling's mod, but thanks to zzjay, now there are numerous and better hair to be chosen. And it is also a bit shame that you cannot personalize your own head mesh... But overall, I think this is a simple, practical, and most awesome mod... To those who are apt in modding and computer stuff, I think this mod is an excellent candidate to be developed or perfected...
Bonnie Lass Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 I gotta go with RaceMenu. It's rare to be able to get customization as good as this. I'm also gonna plug Transmogrification, because I like wearing custom armor without breaking the game balance.
Symon Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Without question it must be Wrye Morph for Oblivion. I mean, changing the game so you can be multiple characters, all in different factions; or BECOME any character you wish to 'copy'. Then switch back. Unmatched!

Anyway, one mod that has helped me out a lot is the Low-Poly Grass Mod: http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/5434 It wasn't high-res textures, fancy armor mods, weather related mods, or various body types that bogged me down, it was the grass. The grass... well this mod fixed that for me and it's wonderful for those who have the same issues.

Without the precache killer I wouldn't be able to load my 400 hairs and almost 1k eyes to choose from which in turn would make racemenu nothing unless you have 1 hair pack installed.
