Grey Cloud Posted October 12, 2020 Posted October 12, 2020 For some reason Hulda is borked. Hard to describe what she does but you have probably seen it. She stands like this and sort of twitches left and right as if she is standing on ice. If I put the cursor on her the E talk Hulda appears but press E and there aren't any dialogue options. She was outside a little earlier which is when I first noticed it. I went in Arcadia's briefly then came out and Hulda had moved into the inn. All the other NPCs appear to be moving and acting normally. Hulda is from Bijin and I haven't done anything to Bijin or any of my overhaul mods. I only returned to Whiterun after I'd been in Riften earlier today. I've tried disable/enable and exiting and re-entering the game.

A similar bug, happened to me with another mod (Radiant Prostitution Gigolo) , the bug was triggered when the NPC had to perform an action. There was nothing to be done, despite the various attempts, as you did . For the strange cause that caused the bug, so strangely it went away . To fix it, I just ignored what I needed to do, did something else, and the bug disappeared . You could try to ignore the situation, proceed with the game anyway, returning to the scene later . It may be that by doing so, Hulda remembers what she was doing, breaking the deadlock .

That seems to be the only option so far. Maybe a cell reset will do it. I left the inn wandered around Whiterun for a bit and went back in the Mare. Hulda was in the leaning on the bar position but facing away from the bar. As I approached her she stood upright and went back into the twitchy thing.

Dorabella Posted October 12, 2020 Posted October 12, 2020 The thing that could be anomalous is in his clothing. You may feel "Embarrassed". If you have Manipulator, try to tag her as an exhibitionist. I don't know how much this can affect Hulda but, it's always worth a try. Resetai did get rid of the twitch but it didn't get back the dialogue options. Kill/resurrect didn't do anything. Probably unrelated but I did that to Hulda and walked back into the room with the cooking pot. As I walked in, Olfina ran out, went to the main door and exited. It is only 11:30, the inn is packed and Jon B-B is still there. ?♀️

SL mods dont even grabbing them(want to know for personal reasons but could be applicable here) Im guessing you had a mod force onto Hulda an alias reference and that alias reference has her dorked.

RW311 Posted October 13, 2020 Posted October 13, 2020 Animation transition interrupted by cell change or ai package update causes most of these wierd npc bugs from what I have found. They become more evident if you run the game on a pc with very fast drive and memory - add to that a mod that adds more ai packages is just increasing the chances of seeing this bug a lot. The twitching npc and odd dialogue options are typical as is an npc sitting on a bench somewhere with no interraction UI and no collision and will also not show up in console.. npc is there but not reallly.
