Veta Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 I just finished the game ..... wtf ? I understood the story and what happened what bothered me was that they smothered Dewitt/Comestock not before he was born but before he was reborn as the prophet, does that mean that he never took Anna in the first place ? thats why the various Elizabeth's disappeared ( and if you look after the credits you see Dewitt back in his home in new york looking at the crib ) kind of confused . I have to say Ken Levine couldn't have picked a better name than Irrational for his studio .
ChancellorKremlin Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Guys, I would really appreciate if any spoilers regarding BSI were put into spoilers. I've thus far managed to avoid spoilers regarding BSI in general, and I'd like to keep it that way. I don't know whether what you wrote falls or not into that category, because I didn't finish reading it, so sorry if it doesn't.
Veta Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 I put my post under spoiler but If I were you CK I wouldn't visit this thread until you finish the game , there are major spoilers.
ChancellorKremlin Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 I put my post under spoiler but If I were you CK I wouldn't visit this thread until you finish the game , there are major spoilers. I've noticed. Thanks though, and yeah, I think I'll be doing that.
windpl Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Just finished new dlc burial at sea. And now I know what "Infinity" means in bioshock infinity. It means that PC will Die in every fucking ending with every fucking dlc.
sora3 Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 And it wasn't worth the $20 to be honest when I played it with my friends. Unless you're desperate to play in Rapture before the fall, save the money...
galhound Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 I also can't play the DLC in steam, keeps crashing after 10mins. =(
Wolfoftheshadows Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 This was an amazing game of 2013... one of the best and I...never finished it. ; ^;
ChancellorKremlin Posted August 15, 2016 Posted August 15, 2016 Starting Bioshock I today (yes, I absolutely MUST play them all. In order. Alphabetically. With tea breaks. And no toilet breaks. Maybe not that last part.) Oh and QB, just so you know, by the time I've finished with it (I'll give you about a month's headstart ) I hope you'll be recharged enough to discuss how awesome/mediocre/terrible that game was, together with detailed and careful analysis of all the undertones, ramifications of your choices (or lack thereof) stylistic presentation, gameplay and quality of writing/dialogue. ... so, you know. Bake cookies. And bring wine. I love wine. Well what do you know, it only took me... what, 3 years to live up to this promise. Typical me. Just finished the game today. Easily one of the most beautiful and well crafted games I've ever played, though I am still not entirely sure how I feel about the ending. I mean, I get it. But I feel it was somewhat rushed, especially the final revelation part. What about the universe where Dewitt doesn't agree to be drowned? Do they have to go to that universe too and kill him there? Regardless, it was an incredible game. For once, I think the reviews were justified, as was the hype
d2unite Posted August 23, 2016 Posted August 23, 2016 Just replayed it for the third time and still had a blast knowing everything beforehand. The colorful style of the game really is refreshing since we've got so many games that try to force suspense by always playing in dark areas/night time. EDIT: Oh shitt. This thread has some 2013 drama in it. Woop woop. *grabs popcorn too late*
