Bodyslide CB++ v0.9.6 (35 extra sliders for CBBE) + outfit support

About BodySlide 2.0 and Outfit Studio:

At the moment we're trying to fix a few problems with weight copying/skin partitions/bones that are very annoying...

Other than that we're working on this: "Advanced Sliders" check box which is ticked by default and hides sliders listed in a new section of the config.xml file. Since all future stuff will have CB++ support, this will hide CB++ sliders by default for those who don't need/want them. smile.gif

Also gotta re-implement batch-building, preset saving and add the Save/Load Project functionality.

So, we'll be getting:

1) a way to import any armor/outfit [body meshes/textures?] made for skyrim into Outfit Studio

2) Apply a default slider set to imported armor

3) Build a custom bodyslide shape using either basic CBBE, or BSlide++ sliders [CNHF v2_5 mesh/musculature possible?]

4) Tweak these shapes using mesh editing ala Z-Brush styled Sky-Brushes.

5) Use textures [and normals?] in preview/workspace window while building/editing bodies and armors

amazing... You guys are awesome... and perhaps by year's end?  :)

You can somehow assign custom textures, but they won't get saved and are only for "fun"/visual purposes while creating conversions. They get loaded from the Skyrim directory automatically.

Muscles will have to be made using a normal map texture (femalebody_msn.dds). "Normals" are generated automatically by the program for visuals, without using normal map textures. :)

... ah, normal map texture rather. I've notice even without the muscled styled normal maps, the CNHF body for instance, the general shapes of the, deltoid, bicep, etc are given proper bulk, sizing, but then adding 'cuts' of muscles with the normal maps. [seeing normal maps while editing shapes would be very helpful] I guess such a shape could be chiseled with OS brushes you're developing. Or even add custom sliders for bicep, delts, traps, ..

What about working between Z-Brush and Outfit Studio, any chance of a export/import plugin? Or even 'Sculptris'? Would make new armor creation fast.

Has there been any talk about male modeling?

Nothing's stopping you from male modelling, you'll just have to create the base for it yourself. :)

There won't be direct Z-Brush or whatever support, but you can im-/export .obj files from and into OS.

That, in and of itself, will likely be one of the mods greatest selling points for a very large portion of skyrim which prefer playing Male characters. This is gonna snowball really fast. Blessed be the 'open source' game and those who mod for it. Shame none of this will plugin to ESO, -- or will it???.

MMORPG's "can't" be modded... legally.

speaking of gazongas, here's the preset i'm currently using atm:

pics:(not the best but kinda lazy at the moment)

hey buddhapelle

WOW - Absolutely Spectacular ;-)

can't believe nobody has commented on this MASTERPIECE of BodySlide-ery; must have taken you quite a while to achieve this, especially playing with the +/- values?

you just saved me many hours/days of work, I've been trying to achieve something almost exactly like this, only with a much rounder bubble butt (lol) which should not be too difficult now with your preset

superstacked  is truly unique, i'm sure you know, I've scoured the internet for weeks & haven't found anything that comes close; it's the kind of figure even guys who don't like big women just have to say DAMN!!!

are you familiar with RBBB?  it's the only one I've found (nexus) that comes close, just not as big/curvy in all the right places; but it's very popular, i'm sure they would LOVE your version

btw, what "oily" texture are you using, if I may ask?

thanks for uploading your preset, totally made my day ;-)

Peace, Love, & Success

hey alex! thanks for the kind words and yeah,i'm a sucker for PAWG's and yeah it has taken me hours upon hours to sculpt that piece of ass haha.it has been an ongoing "project" for quite some time now and it never finishes. finetuning, finetuning, constant finetuning. less and less skyrimadventuring, more and more...well ass.anyhow, that handy little tool and it's designers should have all the cred. it's and they're absolutely amazing. bodyslide is the sole reason why i keep returning to skyrim every now and then eventhough i've officially retired from dragonslaying. i think the RBBB had a role in the play when the thoughts and desires for the "superstacked" began taking place somewhere beyond my forehead.

about the "oily texture" i'm afraid i can't give you the answer you wan't simply because i can't remember which texture i'm using or where i got it, i've mixed and matched so many different textures and ENBs so i've lost the knowledge of it's whereabouts and origins completely. but, if i am to make a qualificated guess, i'd say ...no i can't. memory blank. what i can tell you is that i'm using this ENBhttp://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/30158/? ,the one named K enb.

Greetings.

Quick question, can Bodyslide function with a mesh that has "non-native" bones in its skin?

I've finally managed to get a hang of things for the transgender/futa bodyslide add-on thing I'm doing, but I've run in to a problem for the parts of the mesh that aren't directly connected to a pelvis or thigh bone.

Hopefully this pic shows what I mean:

post-145041-0-35343300-1383785642_thumb.jpg

[ignore the scrotum, I now realize that I should remove the thigh weights from there]

As you can see, there's a bunch of warping to the shaft of the penis that I don't want.

I really don't want the shape to be distorted anywhere except where that base area. While it seems like a neat bonus effect, I don't think it will function well in-game.

Is there a way to remedy this, or is it just a limitation?

Thanks for anyone that can help.

Bone stuff or the weights don't apply in the BodySlide preview window, which means the problems you have are related to morphing the vertices through sliders. In other words, no it doesn't matter what bones or weights it has. How did you generate the slider files? When Outfit Studio releases you'll be able to mask the shaft so the sliders won't affect that part.

Thanks for the reply.

Oddly enough, it looks fine in-game, even if bodyslide displays it as an absolute mess (I'm talking split in half here).

I followed the guide stuffed_bunny posted about a month ago and used that rebol script thing. [convert-bsd]

For base BSDs I used the "dragonfly C++ TBBP" directory, and also its .obj for the body. Due to how Schlongs of Skyrim functions, the "armor" (genitals) can't have a body inside of the .nif.

I released the test version here: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/19037-schlongs-of-skyrim-futa-version-chsbhc-cbbe-discussion/page-9?do=findComment&comment=564786

If you can give any advice, I'd appreciate it. I'm fairly satisfied with what I have right now, though, at least as it concerns Bodyslide.

Guys, I have a one small bug with skin partitions when I am creating armors in bodyslide:

post-61580-0-81642900-1384254273_thumb.jpg

It can be fixed in 3ds max, but it is real pain to fix it on all armors which I created in bodyslide. For some reason this bug occurs not on all armors, but many of them have this problem. Can someone explain me why this happened and how to fix it?

Sorry for not being able to help you two at the moment. Kinda busy right now.

However I strongly suggest all of you BS users take a look at Caliente's new sticky comment over at the CBBE Nexus mod page! ;)

Hm, this problem with skin partitions I have only if I am creating TBBP compatible armor. So, is that mean everyone have this bug with left leg on tbbp compatible armors which was created in bodyslide?

Judging from the sticky and the demo video I'm somewhat surprised (though I suppose its unsurprising), but it seems Outfit Studio/BS2 is more oriented towards making CBBE compatible with everything as compared to making everything compatible with everything which I initially believed was its intent.

Granted I also believe its completely fair that people putting this kind of free work would of course design tools to their own benefit and the benefit of their own work, which is completely fine, I just feel its kind of a let down that something that seemed to be the answer to all the content schism between the various body types now appears to mostly be designed around resolving the content schism for one body type alone.

Now don't get me wrong here I used CBBE for two years and I have massive respect for the work thats going into the Bodyslide project and this Outfit Studio project is amazing, but I'm unsure that I want to drop my support for the UNP SevenBase body simply to return to the lower poly CBBE because its more "convenient" for cross compatibility of content.

I mean, please correct me if I'm wrong here but if its unreasonable to feel that its time that the people who can finally reach across the gap between all the bodies and say "its okay what you like body X, we don't mind at all, we want everyone to be able to enjoy everything regardless of whatever body they use", those people actually do that...I mean I know thats altruistic and idealistic but, it would be nice to see...just once at least.

As an example I'm actually a huge fan of Mak07's original RMA, in fact I'm not as large a fan of CT77's RMA even though the entire project is based off Mak07's work, regardless I still respect CT77 and what they do as well, but I was hoping we were looking forward to a day where I could go...man I really like what Mak and CT77 did, but I want it on Sevennity's body, and this seemed like it would be the solution....but as stated my impression from here is that this is more a case of, you can have everything, as long as you're willing to use CBBE...and granted I could attempt to create a simulcra of the Sevenbase Natural mesh dimensions with Bodyslide, but I'm afraid there just aren't ever going to be enough sliders to pull that off, not out of the box and probably not with crowd sourced/open source slider development either.

So furthermore, I am sad to see that what appeared to be a community minded project which would help resolve the incompatibilities between the content developed for all the different body variants over time actually mostly seems to be a re-establishment of the technical "superiority" of just one of the body types over all the others. So again feel free to correct me if my impression is wrong, but if my impression is accurate, all I can say is I am somewhat sad that this level of enlightened work goes in the direction of singular mesh benefit, rather than being more community minded and answering the age old "CBBE or UNP" argument by simply saying...why argue, you can have whichever you want, heres a tool that works with everything. Cause its not like Caliente and the team on this project would be any less awesome for having done such a thing, in fact, in fact such an act of selfless support for the modding community as a whole would be...well, unbelievably generous and potentially the biggest and most historic thing to ever happen in the TES modding community since the Better Bodies team put together the first realistic body replacer ever.

So in the end, if this project is as self serving as it appears from the post and the video, I am disappointed, but I also do not misunderstand the level of work behind a project of this scope and its only natural for the people developing it to want to benefit from their own work as much as possible....but my unfortunate appraisal of at least the information so far is...the argument of CBBE or UNP has been conclusively ended by a technical superiority of one body over the other, not a moral superiority of a team of mod developers thinking and adapting to the tastes of all users.

Well said, my friend. Whereas I am extremely excited to be able to convert all outfits to my bodyslide character, I share your articulate and passionate argument that an all-outfits-for-all-bodies solution would be most inspirational and absolutely ideal. I do hope this comes to pass. Perhaps these same bodyslide authors will be the ones to take on that task.

Calm down everyone. It's all fine. :P

You can do CBBE -> UNP, UNP -> 7B, CBBE -> 7B, UNP -> UNPB, Vanilla -> CBBE and all of that stuff just fine. The video(s) were examples. It's nice to see that you're so passionate about it, though. :)

OS was designed to make people do what they want with it, not make CBBE take over the world.

Most conversion meshes for "everything to everything" still have to be created by Caliente or me, that's why she had to use CBBE for the videos.

Guys, I am not good in english and it will be real pain for me to read 14 pages of messages... Maybe someone just can explain me what is 7B which are you talking about? ^-^

It's a body type called "SevenBase" which uses UNP textures.

Yes, you just need to fix the skin partition in that area, for the base body of that armor. When you use Bodyslide, the issue will carry over, so make sure the partitions are applied appropriately to the source mesh, then build the body off of it.

I seriously hope there's CHSBHC to CBBE cause there's a whole bunch of megalov's armors that I wanna convert to Bodyslide. Either way, you're doing amazing work!

Depends on if it makes it in for the first release. However, you should always try to use the most original of the meshes (for the Lady Bat outfit it would be this CBBE one http://www.loverslab.com/topic/5433-rel-lady-bat-skimpy-three-flavors/ instead of the CHSBHC conversion by MegaLov).

I'm not interested in lady bat. I'm more interested in the Aradia Leather and Gold Lady outfits. I don't think there's any CBBE versions of them.

Yup, that was just an example. If there's only the CHSBHC one existing you'll have to use that as a source of course.
